Quick Flashback
Saraine looked at Pyros with sadness in his eyes. He had summoned Siren’s husband to him as soon as he could after their wedding. “Thank you for coming. I have something to request of you.” He said. He flicked his tail towards a seat, asking Pyros to sit down for a few minutes and then began. “I understand that Siren asked you to go travelling with her once you were married. I have a request to make,” He started, “You may go wherever you like, but please take her away from here until I send word that you may return.” He looked into his son-in-law’s red eyes, and smiled bleakly. “I’m sure you think that is a strange request, but I will tell you why, as long as you promise you’ll breathe not a word of it to Siren.” He cringed as pain shot through his stomach and closed his eyes for a moment. He was sure he’d heard Pyros’ affirmation that he would do as he was asked. “I am ill, Pyros. I am not sure how long it will take, but I am certain that it is killing me. I would have wished to die a better way, but the lands a peaceful right now, and I would not cause a conflict just to have my wish fulfilled. I don’t want Siren to be here to see me die, nor do I want her to know that I am ill. I will tell her that I am her father soon, I promise, but she must leave until my will finds her elsewhere.” He explained. Saraine was sure that his news would come as a shock to Pyros, and he was certain that Pyros would try to change his mind. Before Pyros could make any objections, he flicked his tail towards the door. “Leave me now. I have an appointment with the medicine cat.” He laid his head down on the desk and closed his eyes, no longer listening.
NPC. Saraine, the tiger king of the Cat Kingdom, sat alone in his study, the whites of his eyes yellowing from his disease. He would die soon, he knew, and he had to finish writing his will for Siren. So far he had finished explaining that he was her father, and he knew he should have told her sooner. Picking up the pen once more, he wrote that she was the heir to the throne and would have inherited it by the time she received the letter. He knew she would be upset when it was delivered to her, but he couldn’t think of a better way any longer. Outside his door, the medicine cat knocked, and then entered and came to give him the pain relief herbs. “You should be resting, my lord.” He spoke in the cat language. “I know, but I had to finish my will. You will make sure that it is delivered to her when I die, right?” he asked once again. “Yes, my lord, of course. I loved her nearly as you do, my lord, and I wish to see her remain as my master.” The medicine cat replied. “Thank you. You were always faithful to me.” Sariane spoke sadly. The medicine cat looked glumly at his king. “I only wish it were to last longer.” He replied. Saraine nodded, “I know.” He put down his pen, and quick as he could manage in his weakened state, sealed the will in an envelope and passed it to the medicine cat. “I will go rest now.” He announced and hobbled back to his room to sleep. Two weeks later a crowd was gathered at the castle. It was time to mourn the passing of their king, and all were anxious to learn who would be taking over for him, because he had not named an heir to them. They wondered if lady Silae would name an heir of their bloodline. Lain in a glass case for their viewing, and magically enhanced to look as he had in health, King Saraine lie in his death before them. He looked glorious, a golden collar around his neck made him look regal. All his subjects cried for him that day, and Silae watched them, wishing she could make her second son’s child their heir, but it had been forbidden of her.
Many millions of miles away, Siren lay unconscious, recovering from her ordeal with Chaos. A letter waited patiently for her to wake on the bedside table next to her bed. Her image was still flickering like an untuned tv set, from dark siren to light siren, and her eyelids moved as she dreamed. Her husband was somewhere nearby, waiting anxiously for her to wake, his fears about her dying soothed, but not gone. Would she survive this ordeal? She had promise she would come back to him, but was it really something she could promise him? As she slept, the servants had named her phases, dark and light to correspond with her hair color. They noticed that her necklace was faded and soon it was no longer there. One more visit had replaced it with a black swirling stone on a gold chain, and her form flickered less, remaining light more often than dark. Within Siren’s mind she battled hard, with the necklace’s power to bolster her, to remain alive. She had used much too much magic and was slowly regaining her energy. Within her dreams she finally returned the golden necklace to the goddess of life, and was granted a powerful stone that would contain her dark side. “You must wear this, or you will be your dark self.” Was the instructions she was given. They had given her the necklace, she was sure, because they feared the power would corrupt her. Since Chaos had not been destroyed, she was still feeding off of his strength and his power. They knew she was now one of the most powerful being in the crater in her dark form, and they wished to stem the tide. She didn’t mind, she was afraid of the magic herself. When she awoke, she found herself in a comfortable bed, and immediately her hand went to the stone at her neck. It swirled like a dark abyss, the darkness of her reborn magic and heart contained within a small stone. As she stared into its depths, she caught sight of the reflection of her pure blue eyes and smiled. She looked as she had before the ceremony that had connected her to chaos. She couldn’t feel his magic in this form either. She looked up, and called out “Pyros?” She wanted to see his smile again, wanted to give him a hug and tell him all was alright once more. As she looked around the room, she noticed the letter next to her bed, sealed with Saraine’s royal seal. She picked it up, smiling, happy to hear from him, but she wanted to see Pyros first.

Siren wrapped her arms around his neck and promised that she would come back to him and then went to fight Chaos. Pyros looked up at her as she braced herself for battle, he couldn't believe that she was about to sacrifice herself for them even if she was sure that she would return to him there was no way to know. Chaos and Siren spoke for a while before Siren finally began to form an attack which began to scare Chaos. She released the attack which was a huge blast of light and darkness combined, the attack was almost blinding as it struck Chaos and within seconds all was over. Chaos was gone and Siren looked in terrible shape as she dropped to the ground, He rushed over toward her and knelt down beside her. "Siren!" he shouted, lifting her head off the ground and trying to wake her from her slumber. A number of Darklight guards came and picked her up, rushing her away to get medical aid. Pyros fell down on his elbows and knees as tears dropped to the ground beneath him that Siren had just been laying on. Pyros looked up as the guards disappeared from view and he got up from the floor, wiping his tears away though they were quickly replaced by new ones, he was beginning to stop now though. He looked up into the sky and stopped himself from crying completely, he moved away over to a bench that Vergo was sitting on and sat down beside him.
"I can't believe that I didn't stop her, I should have tried to stop her, but I was so stupid to think that there would be no other way to stop him, I'm sure there would have been other ways." Pyros spoke to himself, but also wanting Vergo to say something in response. Pyros didn't allow him the time to respond however, he stood up quickly and thrust a fist out in front of him. "I can't just sit here and think so negatively, I have to go and see if she is alright, find out if there is anything I can do to help. I love her and I only did what she told me to, to let her go through with it, to trust her." Pyros said, again so Vergo could hear, but Pyros never let him have enough time to reply before rushing off in the direction the guards had gone.
Pyros stopped at a two story building that guards were at the front of, it seemed to be where Siren was taken, he could feel that she was nearby, their bond was calling out to him. He went up to the guards, "Im Pyros Shadow, Siren's husband, I want to see her." Pyros told them, they looked to each other and then back at Pyros. "Can you confirm your identity?" They asked, Pyros was growing angry when he heard them ask him such time wasting questions. "No, I cant but why would I need to impersonate myself? She is my wife and I need to see her!" Pyros shouted at the guards, showing some aggression now which the guards were hinting on. "Sir, calm down please, we cant let you in." One of them told him. "Im sorry to hear that." Pyros replied as he thrust his fist forward, crashing into the man's chest armor, cracking it and sending him backward against the door he was guarding. The second guard drew a sword and swung it at Pyros. He dodged backwards and kicked him in the neck before grabbing his arm and twisting the sword into his own hand. Pyros thrust the hilt of the sword into his head to knock him out before stepping back and paying attention to the first guard he had attacked. The guard drew a sword aswell and thrust it toward Pyros who blocked with his sword and then pushed the guard backward into the door, smashing it open and knocking out the second guard.
Pyros stepped through the wooden planks that were previously a door and rushed up the stairs to the room that he could tell Siren was staying in. He opened the door and looked over at a bed that was in the room just beneath a window, in the bed, his wife holding a letter in her hands. "Siren..." Pyros said, tears coming to his eyes again, but this time from relief and joy as he rushed across the room and dropped onto the side of the bed, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed the side of her neck. "We need to stop doing this, I know life isn't much fun without a little risk but we just keep ending up half dead on a weekly basis." Pyros told her, trying to lighten the mood a little, more for his own sake than hers since she didn't often worry as much when it came to her own health. "I know you told me you would be alright, but I honestly had my doubts as always, I never know if all this magic is reliable or if something will go wrong and you will never return to me." Pyros told her before releasing her and just hovering his arms around her body. He was so happy that she was back now and the threat of Chaos was over.

He watched and felt all that was happening within the kingdom, and within Sirens own dreamlike state. He sighed softly and when Pyros sat beside him and began his little talking bit he listened and would have answered if given the chance. Instead Pyros wouldn't allow him the chance and went after his wife. He stood and followed for it would be the only time he would make this offer to anyone outside this kingdom. He watched the two gaurds get kicked around for barring the way and he followed shortly after healing them and replaceing the door. He caught the last few words that were said and knocked on the door.
" We three need to talk now. It is the only chance I will have for the moment and from what i've witnessed...I beleive it to be fair. When you both are ready to listen let me know. " He left orders with the gaurds to make sure the others were treated well while they waited.

Kyern who after moments of lying down wen't over to Dewdrop and smiled. She seemed alarmed but he quickly assured her that he was Kyern and not chaos. Instead of starting any conversations, Kyern simply gave Dewdrop a letter adressed from him to Siren. "Please Dewdrop can you hand this too Siren for me, I can't hang around much longer for I am needed elsewhere. Its a simple letter which bascially says that I'm still alive and if Siren ever needs my assitance all she has to do is visit me in the silver viper kingdom." Then taking another piece of paper, he wrote another letter to Vergo. "Also can you please give this letter to Vergo. This body still contains pieces of chaos's memories and within them are the location to chaos's lost treasure. Although one thing I forgot to mention is that all you enter can only take out one item only. So can you please pass this on too vergo." Kyern then left the letters with Dewdrop and after requesting leaving rights from Darklight he quickly walked to the borders and left the kingdom in pursuit of the Silver Viper kingdom. He needed to be by the royal family in the upcoming obstacles of the half breed rebellions. (ok sorry Dewdrop for the powerplaying but you and I were the only characters left in the courtyard so I was limited to you and I needed to be going. I'm sure me will be back later in the second site roleplay. Mostly after Siren is forced to leave the cat kingdom so yeah. Right now its revolving more around pyro's and siren so i'll wait.

Siren looked over at the door as Pyros kicked it in, surprised. She saw tears spring to his eyes, and she knew she had made him worry, then he rushed towards her and she was in his arms before she could blink. She felt his lips touch her neck as he kissed her and told her how worried he had been that she would never revive this time. She kissed the side of his head, the only place she could reach, and closed her eyes happily as his warmth drove away any remnants of the cold of death. She opened her eyes again as he pulled back slightly and looked up into his eyes. She lifted a hand to his face and wiped his tears. "You're right. Although, I am naturally more worried about you. If you were to go, I wouldn't know how to anything else but die, for want of joining you once more, and if I were to go, I would worry about leaving you here, and feel guilty about letting myself leave you. I would like it infinately more if I could die with you, and after many long years of living with and for you." she said. "Oh, Pyros.." she sighed, nuzzling her nose against his cheek. "I can feel much more now, that I was right about the reason I gave you for wanting to leave Cat Kingdom for a while. Something has happened, though I do not know yet what it is. It just makes me feel sad." she clutched the hand with the letter in it against her chest, and squeezed her eyes shut. Vergo had entered as she had spoken to Pyros, requesting an audience with the two of them, but before she could tell him it was alright for him to speak, her magic activated itself again and the seal on the envelope melted off of the opening, making it easily openable. She had not realized how much she wanted to hear from Saraine. She supposed, though, that she should let Vergo speak first. It was polite, and she was not sure what kind of state she would be in when she read the letter. Lifting her head free of Pyros' she smiled at him. "I look normal again." she said to him, not sure he had noticed in his haste to reconnect with her. After a moment of looking at his crimson, tear swollen eyes, she turned her head to vergo. "We may speak now, Prince Vergo. I do not wish to make you wait until I have opened my letter." she said, her smile a little depleated as she looked at him. Siren's free hand lifted to its usual place on Pyros' chest, her way of confirming that he was real and there.

Siren explained how important he was to her, and how he was right that she cared much more for him than for herself, just how Pyros felt for her. She nuzzled her nose against his cheek before telling him she was right about leaving Cat Kingdom, she said that she was feeling sad for some reason that she couldn't figure out. Pyros looked down at the letter in her hand, it had the royal seal of the Cat Kingdom on it and Pyros remembered what Saraine had told him, about his illness and how he was sure to die soon. 'This must be what Siren is feeling, he must have passed away...' Pyros thought just before Vergo walked in asking them to speak with him. Siren told Pyros that she looked normal again, though he had noticed. "Yes, I know. Im so glad." Pyros replied with a smile, he turned to Vergo as Siren told him to speak to them now, she seemed to be uninterested in the letter as far as Pyros could tell. Pyros felt her hand come to rest on his chest, he felt much happier to have physical contact with her after all that had happened. He wondered what Vergo wanted to discuss with them, but he was more curious as to how Siren would react to the letter she had received.

Kitsura yawned and padded her full stomach. The food that Kizer dude gave her sure was good. She was sneaking around, looking around for food minding her own business, when she opened up this huge black door to find Kyern the immortal lying on the floor with a knife through his hand. While Kitsura started shocked, Kizer appeared out of nowhere and said that "She should be wandering around, and basically that she would feed her. That was all she needed to hear, so like a good kit does, she followed him.
The feast was incredible. The table was the size of a ship and it was overflowing with food. She ate and drank like a horse as fast as she good. Not knowing, and frankly not caring about what went on outside the window, she considered life was good. She didn't even turn to look. When she was all done, Kitsura returned to her room to pick up her bag, and stay for a while. To her relief every thing was still in there. Suddenly there was a huge blast of magic that knocked her face first into the ground.
"What the heck?!" She screamed. Then it was ominously silent. She turned to look out the window, and gasped in shock. This weird cat...thing for lack of better words annihilated some sort of beast( I think Chaos was in his own form...I am not actually quite sure...) Huh? All of this made no sense. She wondered to asked Kizer about it, but she thought it might be unwise. So she went to bed and slept some more. (I don't know how much time passed about Chaos death and now, so she slept as long as the time distance, unless that is ridiculous.)
Kitsura slipped out the bed for the second time feeling refreshed. This time however, she rushed to her window to see if the weird lady was still there, or at least the wreckage she left behind, but for some reason, it looked like everything was normal.
"Oooookay then." She said to herself. This was starting to get weird. Everything about Warriors Crater was weird ever since she came back. This made Kitsura go through a bit of culture shock. Why could things be the way they use to be. Everything was so simple then. She complained to herself. Kitsura didn't know how to get out of darklight, or why really she was there. She is not even exactly sure how she got in. She was in a tree then some guards came out of nowhere and told her to come. She then turned to the mirror to have a look at her face.
"Awww man, I think my nose even got pushed in from that. Geez, don't people know not to play with magic around here? You can injure people with that."
OOC- I modified my post because originally I added in a joke that me and Kyern made up one day, but as i read it again, it made Kitsura sound very evil and scary (and out of character), so I deleted it. Sorry about the change. Oh and i had to powerplayed kizer a little bit to catch myself up in the story. Sorry Vergo.

After the two caught up and before he had the chance to slip away to let them have enough time together Siren had told him to go ahead and speak. sighing he stepped into the room closeing the door. His hair normally tied back now flowed around his shoulders as he hung his head lightly and leaned against the door. " What I will be offereing to the two of you...isn't something to take lightly and is a high honor and costly. What I have seen from you both makes me feel that you deserve this should something like this happens again. Siren..my father has your original body in stasis, and since being here...Pyros you as well have been marked by the kingdom. Should either of you die wrongly or because of another forbidden ritual come back to Darklight and seek me out. Your souls will be protected and cleansed of all evil and restored to your bodies powers and all. The cost....once this is done you'll both be forced to fight against me because of the drain it will cause in my mental abilities. You two are also considered members of Darklight and thus will be granted free passage, and knowledge of our location. Should you betray this knowledge....you'll be stuck here forever. If you have any questions, ask them now. If not i'll leave you be. "
NPC-Kizar
He found the girl Kitsura again and smiled. The girl had been half starved and exhausted. He knocked then stepped in to talk with her. " you have questions i'm sure. I'll answer what I can and then show you out should you wish to continue onto your own home. " (( sok kitsura ))

She was looking at the sky. A few weeks had passed since Chaos had been vanquished from Kyern's body, but Chaos soul would never die. Deep down she was sure he would try to find a way back to the living realm.
She had been thinking about her new abilities. How she herself, was in fact one of the legendary Nova angels. There were still many questions that had to be answered about this power. Unfortunately she was not sure where to start. Also, she was curious was her past had to do with the Nova powers. So many questions to be answered, but no one to answer them.
Kyern had greeted her, which startled her at first. She had not known Kyern at all for his body had been possessed by Chaos. He asked that she give a letter to Siren for him and a letter to Vergo. She nodded, watching him leave.
She had walked into the palace of darklight, unsure where Vergo might be. She knew Where Siren had been laying, resting and fighting the battle of good and evil inside herself. If Siren was not awake yet, then she would give Sirens note to Pyros. However, as she approached the room she heard voices and knocked gently.
The door was opened, there stood Vergo as though he had been getting ready to leave. Peeking behind him she noticed Siren and Pyro's together, sitting on the bed.
"I am sorry to bother you, but Kyern asked that I bring these letters to you." she walked passed Vergo and up to Siren, handing her Kyern's note. Then she walked back to Vergo. "There is one here for you as well..." handing him the letter, she turned back towards Siren. "I am really glad to see you are doing well..." with a small nod and a smile she turned and begun heading back down the hall.

Siren listened to Vergo's offer in awe. She was unable to say anything for a few minutes. As she stared, speechless at Vergo, Dewdrop entered and gave her and Vergo each a letter from Kyern. She looked up as Dewdrop said she was glad to see Siren well. Siren smiled and said, "Thank you." Dewdrop left quickly after that and Siren returned her gaze to Vergo. "You mean that your kingdom has... adopted us?" Siren asked, "Thank you, Vergo, very much for this offer. We understand what this requires us to do, and we will keep your kingdom's location and information about it a secret. This means alot to us." Siren turned her gaze to Pyros to see if he had any questions about what Vergo had offered to them. She was eager to open her letters, ready to know what Saraine had written to her. Her thumb moved slowly back and forth across her husband's chest. OOC//: another pic of Siren.. lol >> Click here to see what i drew

Pyros listened to Vergo explain some strange ideas about cleansing their bodies if they ever needed to, and that they had to keep Darklight a secret from all outsiders. Pyros wasn't sure what the whole cleansing thing was about, but it sounded nice that Vergo was offering them something this important and trusting them with such a large secret. He also said that they were members of Darklight now and would gain free passage in and out of the kingdom, Pyros nodded to him. "Thank you Vergo, I won't break your trust. I don't have any questions, I understand completely." He replied with a slight bow before looking over at Dewdrop who gave letters to the other two with him. 'What is with all these letters?' He wondered, they didn't get letters that often and now Siren had 2 and Vergo had 1. She gave Siren some words before nodding and heading off, He looked over at Siren, she was eager to open her letters, Saraines much earlier as it seemed. "Go ahead, open your letters, im as eager as you to find out what he wants." Pyros told her, though he was sure the letter would be telling her what he already knew. He wondered how she would react to the news, would she be alright with Pyros keeping such personal information from her for so long?

Pyros in turn thanked Vergo and then turned to her and told her to open her letters. Siren smiled at him and removed her hand from his chest to pull Saraine's letter out of its envelope. She shuddered as her fingers touched the letter, a sense of death emanating from the paper. She could feel her necklace pulse protectively as she opened the paper to read it. Some part of her sensed oncoming distress, and her other self waited to serve its purpose. Her skin crawled as the paper spoke to her senses, even before she began reading. Her eyes alighted on the thin curly writing of Saraine. He began by telling her that he was sorry, although she wasn't sure what he had to be sorry about. As she read, shock and hurt became clear on her face. "He was my father?" she whispered to herself as she read the line that told her that he was sorry he hadn't told her sooner, that he hadn't known how to, or even when the right time would be. Her free hand reached out for Pyros, needing his comforting touch, and she read on. Her breathing became labored as he told her that he was dying and that having received his letter meant that he was now gone. Tears formed in her eyes as she read the words. "He's dead..." she bit her lip to keep herself from crying out in grief. The necklace pulsed stronger as it read her distress, almost as if it were trying to calm her. She closed her eyes for a moment before continuing on with the letter. The last words on the page burned into her mind like a hot iron. 'Pyros knows everything. Please don't be angry with him, I asked him not to say anything to you.' They said, and then 'I'll love you always, my child' and the letter was over. Her tears streamed down her face in anger and anguish. "You knew everything?!" She cried as she pulled her hand away from him. "Pyros, I'm your wife. Even as His wishes, why would you keep something like that from me?" She wasn't so much angry, but hurt that he would keep such important information from her. She had wanted to know who her parents were for such a long time, she couldn't remember ever not thinking about finding them. She put her hands over her eyes and pulled herself up against the wall, away from Pyros. She felt betrayed. It wasn't even information about himself that he was keeping from me, it was about me! Why would he do that? she thought as she cried, curled up against the wall at the head of the bed. Her mind buzzed with the new information she had received. I'm the queen now.. she thought, anxiety spreading in her chest. She wanted Pyros to comfort her, and yet at the same time did not. She could feel her other self poised to defend her from unwanted contact.

Pyros watched as she smiled at him before opening the letter. He heard her whispering that Saraine was her father, She put a hand back to Pyros' chest. he brought his hands up to hers and held it tightly in comfort. Not long after she stated that he was dead and Pyros brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it, "Im sorry." He told her while tears began to form in her eyes. She finished reading it and began crying. Pyros was about to embrace her in comfort when she pulled away from him, She began shouting at him that he had known it all long before. She told him that she was his wife and that even if it was Saraine's wishes how could he keep such information from her. She covered her eyes and pulled up against a wall away from him. "Im sorry Siren, There were so many times that I wanted to tell you but Saraine had asked me to keep it from you." Pyros replied, but hearing his words only made him feel worse as it didn't sound all that much in his defense. He could see how much pain Siren was in and it was bothering him that she wouldn't let him comfort her, she was angry at him for not coming clean with her about all the information earlier. "I know that I should have told you, but Saraine just didn't see it that way, I couldn't have broken his trust like that, you have to understand that." Pyros pleaded for her to forgive him, but it didn't look like she was going to. She curled up against the wall, he almost started crying himself just at the sight of his wife crying like that in such pain.
Pyros stood up at the side of the bed, he looked down toward her with sad eyes. Tears were forming, but he was fighting them to keep them from going any further than that. "I know there is nothing I can say that will make this all disappear, I know there is no way that you can go back and spend time with Saraine or tell him how much you loved him. I know that you wont forgive me easily for this, but I was only keeping it from you because Saraine believed that it was in your best interest to keep it that way." Pyros explained, he wanted to hug her and wipe away her tears, but he knew that she didn't want him anywhere near her right now. Anything he said might only make things worse, she wasn't in her best condition at that moment and he thought it would be best to leave her alone to think things over and mourn the loss of her father. "I am sorry about Saraine's death, I really admired him. I'll leave you alone to mourn his loss." Pyros told her as he moved toward the door and left the room.
He headed down the stairs and passed the guards that stood looking at him with a hatred that he fully understood. Pyros went over to the huge fountain he had remembered at a courtyard in Darklight, he looked into the water and tears finally sprang from his eyes, dropping into the water below him. He dropped down to his knees and leaned over the wall of the fountain, tears fell as he thought about the way Siren had looked at him when she commented on being his wife and asking how he could keep important information from her. 'I should have told her, but how would Saraine have reacted? I feel like there was really no way to end this happily.' Pyros thought, 'But that's in the past, right now I have to find a way to make Siren understand why I did this and make sure I don't end up making her feel worse.' Pyros thought, he couldn't believe that things had turned out this way, he had hoped that she wouldn't take it so badly, but he should have expected it. Pyros stood and moved over to a bench near the fountain and stopped crying, but he hunched over looking at the ground before him, deep in thoughts about how to discuss this with Siren at a later point.

Pyros tried to explain himself to her, but she could tell he had realized that nothing would make her feel better at that time. She felt her chest constrict as he said that he was going to leave her to grieve. 'No... I don't want you to leave.' she thought, but she couldn't stop him. She watched him leave, and then began crying harder. Her grief overwhelmed her as her husband walked out of the room and she felt a falling sensation before the immense power of her other self broke through and she sat huddled with her black hair around her face. She couldn't get back through, and it seemed as though she would be forced to stay that way until she could come to terms with her grief. The 'Dark' Siren was like a black hole in the case of emotions, as if they were swallowed whole, she no longer felt as sad as she had before. 'I should go talk to Pyros...' she thought, as her feeling of betrayal was also suppressed. Getting up, Siren walked down the stairs to the door and walked outside, looking around for Pyros. She hoped her anger with him was gone, because her anger was more dangerous in this form. She saw him sitting at a fountain and walked up to him. "Pyros..." she whispered, feeling a flash of emotional pain as she saw how upset he was. He was looking at the ground, and he looked as if he were thinking deeply about something. She reached out slightly then pulled her hand back as if something had stung her, biting her lip. He seemed to induce emotions that shouldn't be possible in her in that form. She sat down, shaking, and felt her saddness well up inside her again. "I'm so sorry..." she cried, tears springing into her golden eyes, "I know you wouldn't have kept if from me if there was any way to keep Saraine's favor. I realize his opinion was quite important, especially with that information.. He could have done things far worse than I can to you, and he certainly would have had motivation to do such things if you had gone against him in concern with me.." She covered her eyes, her feelings mixed over his keeping such information from her. She looked up at him and spoke steadily now, "You were right that I would not easily forgive you, but right now I can more clearly see your motivations. You risked losing me in either situation, but you could see that this way had less cons than the latter. Do not worry about my feelings on the matter, i will eventually see what i need to to forgive you. I will always love you, that has not changed." she spoke of herself as if she were someone else making observations. "As for my grief. My dwindled trust for you seems to be stronger against your comforting me than my want for you to comfort me. Right now... I cannot return to normal due to the strength of my grief and pain. The me you see before you has been adapted to protecting the me you wish to see and hold, at any cost and from anything that harms me, in any way. I was even waiting to protect myself against you... which saddened me more that it should be necessary for that sort of protection. I don't tell you this to upset you, but I think you need to know. You would do well to keep it in mind in the future. I would not harm you, but I could not let you near me." Her fingers once again sought out a contact between them, seemingly on their own, and this time they did not draw back. As soon as her fingers touched him, she flung her arms around his neck and burried her head into his shoulder, sobbing. "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry." She tightened her grip on him, not wanting him to go away.

Pyros wondered how things had become so terrible between them, how had such a thing blown out of control so much as to make Siren despise him? He heard his name being whispered and looked up at Siren who seemed to be half reaching out to him. He looked at her and was surprised to see that she had changed back into her darker form. 'I wonder if she can choose to change forms or if this is something she has no control over, what does it mean?' He wondered, not speaking a word as she came toward the bench and sat down next to him.
She began to apologize to him, she told him that she realized how important Saraine's opinion was and that she knew he could do much worse things to him than she could if he had gone against Saraine. She began to cry, covering her eyes. Pyros turned his head away to look at a spot on the ground away from her, he didn't want to see her crying again, knowing that he couldn't comfort her, it was the reason he had left her room. She told him that she wouldn't forgive him easily, but she could see his motivations clearly and told him not to worry about her feelings as she would eventually see what she needed to in order to forgive him and that she would always love him. Pyros felt his tears fighting to burst out again, but he fought much stronger to keep them from doing so. 'Not worry about her feelings... I can't do that.' He thought to himself. She told him that her feelings against him were stronger than those for him, Pyros wasn't feeling any better as he heard her words, she told him that the darker form she was in was a sort of defense mechanism to protect the brighter Siren, at the moment, from him. She told him she wasn't telling him this to upset him, but because he needed to know. She said that she wouldn't harm him but she couldn't let him near her.
Pyros wasn't sure what to do in the situation, something told him to comfort her, but the more information she told him the more he was being told to just leave her alone and let her deal with it alone. He felt her touch him and as he swung his head around to look at her, she wrapped her arms around his neck and was crying into his shoulder, she repeatedly apologized to him and tightened her grip on him. Pyros looked down at her, he wasn't sure what to do. 'I cant believe this, She still doesn't forgive me and yet she is apologizing to me. She wants my comfort but she knows that she still hasn't forgiven me, I don't know if this is good.' He thought as he reached up to her shoulders and pushed her away slightly. "You don't know what your doing, you just want someone to comfort you and your apologizing because that's what you want." Pyros told her, he stood up and looked down at her with a face that seemed regretful for what he was about to do. "You don't want to be with me right now and your right, I betrayed your trust and you shouldn't forgive me any time soon. I should have told you everything, our relationship was built on trust but I wasn't completely open with you and I feel terrible about it, I can't forgive myself for it and I don't deserve you right now." He told her.
He turned around and looked toward the fountain, as a tear dropped from his eyes to the ground, he didn't want Siren to see him crying, she saw him as a figure of strength that she could find strength in. "You trusted me with everything you knew, I don't know if there is anything you have hidden from me, but I doubt it. Your the perfect person, your beautiful, trusting, smart & you always see the best in things and try to fix them even when you shouldn't." He added as he wiped away his tears and turned to face her again. "I don't think I can bare to just embrace you again and forget about all this, If this form is to protect you from pain and right now im responsible for that pain, then I should just keep my distance from you until you come to terms with it on your own. You shouldn't be apologizing, you haven't done anything wrong, im the one at fault." Pyros finished off his reply as he turned and began to walk away from her.
