Pyros appologized, recognising the fact that he had gone over the recently manifested boundaries. Siren sighed. She hated that such problems were occuring between them. He then took his coat and they left the tavern. Siren kept her eyes averted, but she couldn't help turning her ear towards him as he spoke. He was happy that they would be leaving, although she knew that leaving wouldn't make things any less difficult between them. Although she couldn't blame him for wanting to leave. She longed for the trees of the Cat Kingdom. Home she thought sadly. She wasn't sure she'd be able to enjoy it though, with the rift between herself and her husband. Some of her fondest memories of the Cat Kingdom included him. "Lets go then." she said, and started off in the direction she'd seen Chaos trying to escape. The border would be that way, and she hoped it would lead to somewhere close to Galfinio, the neutral area. They would be able to rest there undisturbed. As she walked she let some of her magic loose and played with the light around them. She bent the light around them, and she knew that it would be a sight to behold, for it would appear as if they had just vanished, but for their footprints. Releasing the magic she lifted her palm and conjured a small flame in her hand, gazing into its depths. Even as she walked her magic was guiding her, keeping her out of harms way.

Siren told him they should go and headed off toward Cat Kingdom, Pyros still wasn't very good with directions, he wasn't sure which direction was which or where every path lead to. He simply followed Siren, knowing that she knew the way to Cat Kingdom and where they were going. Pyros walked next to her, but slightly behind her, the moment felt awkward and he wasn't sure if he should say anything or not. Siren was playing with fire in the palm of her hand using her elemental magic. Pyros didn't know anything about magic but he could tell that her power was much greater since she had blood bonded with Chaos, he could feel her aura as she walked beside him, it was so powerful he wondered just what she was now capable of. Memories of her powers flooded into his mind as he remembered the only time that he had witnessed first hand her power when her emotions were out of control. She could practically disintegrate anything that came close to her and now she was even more powerful. He turned to looked at her as she walked, she wasn't looking at him and he examined her to see if he could find any messages in her body language, but he found none. 'I cant imagine the many different ways that she could actually kill me, the many forms of torture she could bring forth if she wanted to...' he thought, thinking of how he had so foolishly pushed her limitations earlier without thinking about the consequences, he had let desire lead him away from rationality. He looked ahead, continuing to walk just beside and behind her.

As Siren manipulated her magic, she was also aware of Pyros behind her. Even just realizing his proximity caused her magic to react, and her mind automatically reached out to touch his. At first she recoiled at the touch, but then she felt the cravings of old and reached out again. She was sure he did not feel this contact, so she listened to his emotions in her mind. Unlike thoughts, which played like music in the mind of the reader, his emotions were displayed in her mind as a series of colors, and the array of emotions she saw was stunning. The first color that popped out in her mind was that of regret, and she knew it must be strong in his mind. Desire and love swam together, interwoven spirals of light and dark twisting around the rest of his emotions, threatening to overpower them all. A tinge of sadness and guilt, surrounded by the tints of reserve. So many emotions were in his head that it almost looked as if their color was one, creating nearly a perfect white when viewed all together. Siren knew her own emotions must be in a similar mess, and she withdrew from his mind and focused back on the flame in her palm. With her magic it was forming into shapes and changing colors, indicating that the temperature of the flame was rising. She looked up, to see where they were, and if they had grown much nearer to the border of Darklight. It didn't seem as if they would have much farther to go.

Pyros looked around at the plant life that surrounded them as they walked, he felt so awkward, but he desperately wanted to communicate with her, but something was telling him not to. He looked at her hands, the flames within them changing shapes and colors as she walked. Pyros heard some rustles in the trees around, he assumed it was just a bird or some other wild critter, but it seemed so much larger than that. It seemed like Siren was preoccupied with her magic and hadn't noticed the sounds. 'Perhaps she hasn't noticed because its nothing.' he told himself keeping his eyes on the tree as they continued to walk, it wasn't long before Pyros tripped over a bush and fell into it. He slowly got up and brushed himself off, when he looked back over to the tree it wasn't moving anymore and he was sure he could hear other trees rustling in a direction away from them. 'Was there something there or not?' he wondered, curiosity was annoying him, but he couldn't do anything about it, whatever it was it had gone now. He looked over at Siren, she was probably wondering what had happened, yet she hadn't mentioned anything about it, she just stopped momentarily before continuing to walk. The rift between them was so large that she couldn't even ask him if he was alright, but he had confidence that after all they had been through, she would come to love and trust him again.

Siren's attention was diverted from the flames as she heard a sound, but instead of looking towards it, she spread her mind out towards it. It must have been protected by magic, though because though she didn't get any hostile emotions from it, she got little else either. It seemed to be able to sense her probe as well, and it turned and started to move in another direction. A larger, crashing sound emanated from behind her, and she turned to see Pyros picking himself out of a bush and brushing himself off. She opened her mouth to say something, then thought better of it, and turned back to the direction they had been moving. Did he hear the creature as well? she wondered as she started moving again. She was beginning to feel bad about ignoring the fact that he had fallen. It didn't matter what he had done to her, he was still a living creature and she should treat him as she would anyone else. "Did you hear something?" she asked, "Before you fell, I mean..." she added. She didn't look at him, and kept walking forwards, but she thought it might help them to speak a little.

She had watched as Pyros and Siren began to leave the Kingdom of Darklight. Where she sat had to be one of the best spots in the kingdom; though none would be able to get there. Unless, they could fly. She was sitting on the highest tower of the kingdom.
There seemed to be nothing more for her to do. Her goal had been fulfilled. This had been the last task, given to her by the only remaining elder. However, she knew, as most of her kind had, this elder had been nearing his time. Though Warrior angels were immortal; time, like with most living creatures, would find its way to them and even herself one day.
Standing up, a gush of wing rippled through her wings and hair. A few feathers were carried off in the wind. Stretching out her wings, the golden line on the outside of the wings, caught the sunlight, shimmering.
She flew to the ground and headed back into the castle. First, she would excuse herself from Darklight and pursue her own quest. To find out what happened to her brother? Some how, she just knew he was still alive.
Lifebringer, pulsed. As though responding to her thoughts as she headed for the throne chamber.

Siren asked him if he had heard something before he fell down. He looked over at her, she still looked forward and had the flame in her hand. "Yeah, Something was moving about in the tree tops before I fell, when I did it seemed to head away from us. I assume its just an animal of some sort, can't imagine why I thought so much of it, but it seems like you noticed it aswell." Pyros replied, he wondered what could have made similar sounds to any form of wild life, yet attracted both their attentions. 'Im sure that she can hear plenty more animals moving around in this forest, but she was also drawn to that one sound aswell.' he wondered, his head turned to the tree once more but the being had definitely moved on. "What do you think it was?" He asked her, he wondered why she had been so curious as to ask him.

Pyros replied that he had also heard the noise, and had assumed it was just some sort of animal. He paused for a moment, and then asked her what she thought it had been. She thought for a moment. "From my ears, it didn't sound so similar to most animals I have heard, although I cannot rule that out as a possibility. Perhaps I have merely not encountered one before. Whatever it was, it had some magic of its own, because it was able to sense that I had reached out towards it with my mind. The magic also prevented me from determining whether it was hostile or not... I hope it was only curious." she replied. Her eyes scanned the trees ahead of them. They weren't like the ones from her home, and though they possessed some essence that felt like magic, they did not feel alive to her. It was a time-stopped feeling, and she realized they were very close to the border. The magic must be from the border.. "Maybe that creature was some sort of protector.." she said, though she was mostly speaking to herself.

Siren explained that it didn't feel like an animal she had heard before. She said it felt like it had some magic of its own and wasn't sure if it was hostile or not, hoping it was only curious. Siren mentioned that perhaps the creature was a protector, though Pyros wondered just what it would be protecting. He looked around again, still hoping to get a glimpse of it if it came back, he wanted to know just what it was. He turned his eyes past a tree when he was sure he had noticed a pair of eyes looking at him through them. He quickly turned back to look at the trees but saw nothing, 'what the hell?' he wondered as he turned forward again and continued to walk by Siren's side, but he felt very edgy about all the things he had seen.

Siren heard Pyros turn his head again, and spread her mind out towards him once more. His emotions were even more chaotic now as he became more and more worried about the creature that he had heard. She turned then to face him and put her hands on his shoulders. "Calm down. If it is an animal, freaking out will only make things worse. It is true what they say, we are sensitive to the emotions of others. You may not like that I include myself in this group, because with my magic I can sense peoples' emotions anyway, but Jacob would be able to tell just as well. Take a deep breath, and then we will continue." she spoke to him sternly, like a mother to her child. She waited for him to breathe more regularly and then pulled her hands back quickly as if touching him had burned her. She turned away so that he would not see the frustration in her eyes. She also took a deep breath, but hers was to ward of the feelings of sadness that were threatening to converge on her one more. She started walking ahead again, summoning fire in her palm again to distract herself from her problems.

Pyros felt her hands on his shoulders as she turned to look to him, he looked at her aswell as she told him to calm down, she also mentioned that people were sensitive to others emotions and that with her magic she could sense emotions. Pyros had no idea that she could practically read emotions, she had never mentioned it before but he was beginning to wonder why he hadn't assumed she would anyway. She told him to take a deep breath and then they would continue, Siren quickly pulled away her hands from him and turned away from him. Pyros could tell she was trying to hide how much it was hurting her not to feel comfortable with physical contact, it was hard on both of them and they were both suffering through the emotional conflicts. She began walking again and Pyros followed in the same position as before, he noticed that she had begun to play with fire again. He wondered if playing with fire was her version of a stress ball, a way of getting through the situation they were in.

Siren felt the magic around them thickening. They were starting to walk through the magical border. She was curious to see if Pyros was able to sense the magic as well. She looked at him curiously, then looked forwards again. The magic surrounding her was so strong, it interfered with her ability to sense the things around her, so she had to use her eyes, ears, nose, and tail to guide herself. At the height of the magic's increase, she looked again at pyros, trying to tell if he could feel the magic, then looked forwards and lead them out of Darklight. On the other side of the border, she looked around, glad to have all of her senses back again. It looked as if she had lead Pyros out to nearly the exact place they had entered, which meant that Galfinio, the neutral area's capital, wasn't far away. She smiled, pleased with herself. I shouldn't keep Pyros in the dark about my plans... she thought, though she was having troubles with the idea of letting him know her thoughts at the moment. She bit her lip, stopped walking and turned towards him. "I'm going to lead us to Galfinio, where we met Kyern, and then we will rest the night before continuing on to the Cat kingdom. Do you have any objections or assertions to make?" she asked him, tilting her ears curiously to show that she wanted his opinion, even under the circumstances. The only reason she was going to go to the city at all was because she knew Pyros' aversion to sleeping in the wilderness. She planned on letting him get a room, and herself sleeping outside, just on the outskirts of the city, though she wasn't going to tell him that yet. She was certain he wouldn't agree to it, though she wasn't about to let him object while she was still upset with him.

He watched from the tower of the elders as Pyros and Siren left the kingdome, and then felt Dewdrop as well seeking to leave on her own quest. Standing here though....he knew the paths of each would cross once more and it wasn't going to be in a good way. He sighed and turned heading into the tower to try and get some answers.
When Siren and Pyros entered the magic feilds that kept Darklight hidden from the rest of the world they were given royal bows by the demonic gaurds on each side in respect and were given best of wishes on their journey. When outside they could also feel the subtle caress of the kingdome leave a gentle memory upon them of how to return should they need too and that should they wish to speak with the kingdome all they had to do was dream it. After that nothing was left to see or hear.

Pyros walked in his position behind her, they had come to the magical portal out of Darklight, Pyros couldn't sense the magic, but he could see it, or so he thought, perhaps an illusion he was sure that the air became wavy at the border, just like looking at a horizon by the sunset or through leaking gas. He knew it was the border when Darklight guards wished them well on their travels, he nodded back at them and then became curious about the guards. 'There weren't any guards when we came in was there? Im sure they didn't exist then, theres so much more to the mystery of Darklight than i'll ever understand.' he told himself, he noticed that Siren was turning and looking back at him every now and then, though he had no idea why.
Out of the blue, Siren turned around completely and looked at him, he stopped close to her with curiosity in his eyes on why she had stopped so suddenly with somewhat, worry in her eyes. She told him that she was going to Galfinio and they would spend the night there before continuing on to Cat Kingdom, she asked if he had any objections and he couldn't see any. "No, that sounds like a perfect plan to me." He replied looking back at her with a kind of worry about how she had asked him, 'she really feels like she needs my approval of her plans? Were married, even with all that's going on, I know she loves me and doesn't want our marriage to end so simply.' he thought to himself. "Siren..." he said, he could see that she feeling like they were strangers, or atleast she was acting like it, as if he was someone that she had just met along the way and allowed to come with her. "...I love you, don't forget that." he reminded her.

Pyros replied that he thought it was a good idea, and she nodded, starting to turn back towards the direction they would be traveling. Then she heard him say her name, and she turned her head back to look at him, curiously. As he said he loved her, her hand clutched at her heart as the pain of loss shot through her. Her eyes began to tear as she kept her eyes locked on his, and after a minute she turned away. 'I can't even return my love! I feel so retched.' she thought before the dark self engulfed her completely once more and the pain numbed. She started forwards, her mind focused on them making it to Galfinio before dark. Already in the neutral area, she did not worry about being attacked or seen, and they could travel on a very effective pathway. Half way to Galfinio, she spotted several crows flying above, cawing in a cacophony of chatter. One spotted her and descended to a branch just ahead of them. "Your majesty, your people are outraged that their new queen was not there when Saraine died. It's rather exciting." The bird cawed at her. Siren looked up at the bird with anger in her eyes. "I would have been, but unbeknownst to me, I was not to return until he was gone." The birds just cackled in response. Suddenly, Siren had an idea. "I have a job for you bird. Fly to my kingdom, and tell Silae that I will be there by evening tomorrow. You shall be paid today. Wait there." she said, and turned off the path into the bushes. She extended her mind, and could sense a rabbit cowering in its den. Whispering, magic enlaced in her words, Siren called out to the rabbit. "Come, you will be rewarded for your sacrifice." Within a few moments, she spotted the rabbit creeping out of its den. Its eyes were clouded over, an effect of the magic, and it laid down in front of her. A quick, painless death was all she could promise it. With her mind, she pulled at its life force and it died before it regained consciousness. Picking it up, she returned to the path and showed the rabbit to the crow. She put it down gently, though she knew it was gone, and straightened. "As soon as you have finished, fly directly to the capital of the Cat Kingdom. Silae must hear my message as soon as possible." She kept her eyes off Pyros, not wanting him to know how she had killed the rabbit. She allowed the dark Siren to take over once more and they started off again towards Galfinio. As they got closer, Siren began taking more interest in the trees around them. They were also not like those of the Cat Kingdom, though they would do for a place to sleep. They weren't nearly as old as the trees in the Cat Kingdom were, probably due to the human inhabitants of the area. 'At least they thought to replant the trees.' she thought. "Galfinio is just ahead." she said, though it wasn't visible through the trees yet. She looked at the sky. It was nearly dark, so they should hurry to reach the town. She quickened her pace a little, and summoned flames in her palm to light the way a little more, though the moon was large that night. When she could see the torchlight of the city ahead of them, she let her magic go, and lead Pyros to the tavern. Many memories of them surrounded taverns, so she was reluctant to enter it, but she opened the door and lead the way to the counter. "Do you have any rooms left?" she asked the barman. "One. it has only one bed in it though." he replied. She put her left hand on the counter, displaying the gold band around her fourth finger, as she looked at him. "Oh.. my apologies, miss. fifty gold." he replied, looking embarrassed. She placed the coins on the counter and he gave her a key. "third on the right at the top of the stairs." She nodded, "Thank you." and turned towards Pyros. "Are you hungry?" she asked, realizing then that she hadn't stopped them at all for their own food since they'd left the tavern in Darklight. She hadn't been thinking about either of them for some time.
