Siren looked up at Pyros in confusion as he pushed her away. It wasn't a 'I don't want to hold you right now' gesture, but one full of regret, showing that he did want to comfort her, but that he was still upset about having hurt her. She shuddered as he explained exactly that, that she shouldn't look to him for comfort at that moment because she didn't and shouldn't forgive him at that time. Something terrible was happening between them, and she knew that if they pulled through they would be stronger for it, but she hated it all the same. Her tears fell more rapidly and with more intensity as he told her that he should just stay away from her until she was able to come to terms with her grief, and he turned away. "No.. I don't want someone... not just anyone... to comfort me.. I want to get through this with you, like we always do..." she cried. She wanted to run to him and hold him back, make him stay with her, but she could not. He had to want to stay there, had to want to help her through her grief. Her ears laid back and she looked up at his retreating form. "Please don't go.. stay, even if you must keep your distance, stay here. Don't go away, I need you." she pleaded with him. She covered her eyes with her hands again, wanting the tears to stop, but not having the strength nor composure to get them to cease. "Without you, there is no light.." she told him, "I cannot grieve, nor get better without you. It pains me that I must both endure the saddness, and have you see my pain as well. Do you know the torture it is that I must pain you to get better?" She cried into her hands as her mind touched his tentatively. The brief connection overwhelmed her with his emotions and she curled in on herself once more, sobbing. "Pyros.." she cried his name, as if he had died. As her heightened, and shared magic reacted to her pain, it began raining, the skies darkening with clouds quickly and unnaturally.

He smiled softly and bowed to each of them. He then left the room and let them be alone and once outside he opened and began to read his own letter.

Pyros stopped as she spoke but didn't turn around, she explained that she wanted to get through it with him like they always did. Pyros looked down at the ground as he thought about all the things they had been through, there were so many times when their love was tested, but never before had Siren pulled away from him when he wanted to comfort her. She was telling him not to leave, to stay because she needed him even if he kept his distance from her, he could hear her crying, she had barely stopped since she had been there talking to him. She said that she couldn't grieve without him, she spoke of how it made her feel terrible that she had to cause him pain in order to get better and back to her normal self. Pyros had only just realized something, she had been ready to attack him in her own defense when she first opened the letter but then the new form had consumed her to keep her emotions locked up and help her get over everything, did that mean that once she was back in her regular form she would feel that same hatred and betrayal toward Pyros again? He was worried about what the future would hold now rather than just worrying about the present.
In moments clouds had formed in the skies above and it began to rain. The rain wasn't very strong but it still seemed stronger than rain would normally be when it has just formed. He turned around and looked toward Siren, she had curled herself up on the bench and continued to cry, although the rain was pouring down on her he could still see what were tears and what were rain. He began to walk slowly toward her again, the rain strengthening with every step he took, it was pouring down in bucket loads now and Pyros worried about Siren being in such conditions. He stopped in front of her and looked down at her for a moment, 'I can't just leave her here in the rain...' He told himself as he lifted her to her feet and removed his coat, pulling it over her and taking her hand. He began to lead her through the rain and toward a tavern that was nearby.
Pyros entered and Siren followed, he didn't speak a word to her, not wanting to get into a discussion at that time. He sat her down at a table and went over toward the bar, Darklight was very similar to Silver Viper, and the people were almost human aswell, only more like immortal humans with wings. "Do you happen to have...Chicken soup?" Pyros asked the barman, unsure if the kingdom had it. "Yes, and might i recommend it? In this weather its just what you need to avoid getting a cold." he replied as Pyros nodded, "Yeah, two please." He told him as the barman left to get the food. Pyros looked over at Siren as she waited at the table, 'What am I going to do about this? I can't really leave her now.' he thought as he felt the bar top vibrate from the bowls of soup being put down. "Thank you." Pyros replied as he put some gold coins onto the bar top and headed over to the table Siren was at. Pyros placed the bowls on the table before sitting down opposite her, he slid one bowl closer to her and pulled the other toward him. "Eat up, You have to keep warm in this weather and make sure you don't get sick, that's the last thing we need right now." he told her as he began to eat the soup, he kept his eyes on the soup and kept eye contact from Siren.

Siren looked up as Pyros pulled her out of her seat and wrapped his coat around her, then she turned her eyes to the ground, because she could see he wasn't going to say anything about their problem. He lead her inside a tavern, and thoughts of the first few days after meeting him for the first time began taunting her. How long after they had reached the castle did he learn that Saraine was her father? He sat her down at a table, as he had the first day they'd known each other because she had been ill. As he moved away from the table she folded her arms on the table and buried her face in them, upset by the walk down memory lane, as normally she wouldn't have been. There has got to be a way to forgive him for this. Was it really so bad that I am hating him for it? I don't want to hate him.. she thought in anguish. He returned shortly with a soup that smelled familiar to her. She lifted her head, but kept her eyes on the table, where he pushed a bowl of the broth towards her. It was chicken soup, just as it had been that first day. A tear dripped into the bowl as she stared miserably into its depths. He told her to eat it, but at first she couldn't move, except for the shaking of her shoulders as she started silently crying again. Is there no worse feeling than this? she wondered, wanting to get up and run away from the memories, but she couldn't, especially not after entreating him to stay with her. She worked up the strength to move slowly, and wiped frantically at her tears before she picked up the spoon. The soup was good, but the memories were bittersweet, and she wasn't sure she wanted to eat any more of it. Ignoring her emotions, she sat zombie-like as she spooned the soup into her mouth. When she was done, she pushed the bowl away and laid her head in her arms on the table again, but this time with her face turned to the side. She sighed, examining her pale skin without emotion. She had come to dislike this form, however useful it might be to her, because it was preventing the natural course of things. She also thought that somewhere deep inside she also hated it because Pyros didn't like it. "we have to leave soon." she spoke, uncertain if Pyros was listening. "There are many things I need to do..." she added. She turned her head into her arms and said, "I want to forgive you.." The words were muffled, so she wasn't sure if he had heard her. She turned her nose towards his coat and breathed in his scent. It would normally have made her happy, but now it just saddened her. "Why is this so hard?" she whispered, thinking aloud.

Pyros continued to eat his soup, trying to keep his eyes away from Siren but he couldn't contain himself, glancing up at her every now and then. She finished her meal quickly, Pyros was a few spoons away from finishing as she laid her head on the table. He finished off the soup and placed the bowl within hers, She told him they had to leave soon as she had many things to do, she spoke into her arms after that, Pyros thought he heard the word forgive but was unsure of what she was saying. "Okay" Pyros replied as he stood up and brought their bowls over to the counter, he came back over and stood next to Siren. "I don't want to keep away from you or ignore you, Im sure that even though you haven't forgiven me we can still travel together. I want to be there for you, I don't know what I would do if something happened to you, knowing I had purposely kept my distance from you. Are you alright with that?" Pyros asked her, he wondered what she had planned to do and whether the rain would conflict with it.

Pyros took their bowls away and then started speaking. She looked up with her tear stained eyes and listened to him ask if she was alright with him accompanying her. He told her that he would feel guilty if something happened to her because he was trying to give her her space. "Pyros.. Even if I thought I could stand letting you stay behind, it would not be my emotions that would decide it. You are the supporting ruler of my kingdom, now that I have inherited the thone, by law, and it would not look well if I did not return with you. At any cost, if you had told me you'd like to stay behind, I would have done anything I could have to change your mind. Even if space was really what i needed right now, I would have to sacrifice that to keep the people happy. They need to see both of us. If you did not come with me, it would tarnish both of our images with the people. I haven't the liberty to not be okay with that." she replied, "And I still believe that it wouldn't do me any good if you were to stay behind, regardless of any danger I might be in. I have been with you for long enough, and depended on you for that time, that I no longer can do it myself. I made you the purpose of my being, and now I am lifeless and emotionless without you, regardless of what wrongs it is my opinion you have done to me." Her voice sounded her distress, and she clenched her fists upon the table. It was hard to keep her eyes level with his, to look at him with such connection, but she knew it was necessary. If she couldn't look him in the eye, how could she even begin to forgive him? How could she begin to trust him again?

This is the chance to finally have my questions answered Kitsura thought with glee. However, Kitsura had a hard time trying to figure out which one she wanted him to answer first. They all pushed in her mind with equal urgency, but yet she didn't want to overload Kizer with too many questions at once. What seemed to be such a simple task seemed impossible to her, and she had to think about it for a couple of minutes. Finally she decided. "Well first why was i brought here. It doesn't seem like I'm doing anything here, except eating and sleeping. I never heard of you people in my life, yet your guard went out to find me.Specking of which, why is such a powerful nation, unknown to the other kingdoms. Sensing the power of your people, it is not a simple matter of your people are shy, or afraid of getting wiped out by the other kingdoms. "Kitsura then stopped and then continued to ask one more question. "what was that huge blast by the way. Something that hard could've destroyed a man to dust even a semi-derect hit. It was a quite a distance away, and good thing that these walls are quite strong, or else my nose would have been broken at best from the impact of hitting the ground. Just what is going on?!" So much for keeping the questions short and sweet.
Kitsura considered his offer to take her out of Darklight. She then decided to wait until Kizer explained. She looked at him, trying to prepare to believe almost anything.

Pyros looked down at her waiting for an answer, she spoke of how he was the supporting ruler of her kingdom it would not look good for their images if they didn't return together. She continued to speak of how she no longer had a choice in her own feelings anymore and that she had to give up her own wants for the sake of her people and her kingdom, it was beginning to annoy Pyros, He wasn't worried about this for his sake, he would do whatever Siren asked of him to keep her people happy and help her rule the kingdom, he was annoyed that it was affecting the way that Siren made decisions and that this was going to make it even harder for her to forgive him as she wouldn't have a choice in when he was around her because she wanted to show a good impression upon returning to Cat Kingdom which made sense as there was already enough pressure on her because she was a hybrid.
She clenched her fists on the table, Pyros wasn't sure exactly which emotions were causing this, but listened as she explained that she didn't think it would do any good if he stayed away from her, that she would have done everything she could to convince him to come with her. She told him that they had been together for so long that she had made him her purpose of living. He put a hand down to her and helped her up from her chair, he looked her in the eyes trying to search her feelings to understand a little more about how she was feeling at that time. "Then its settled, i'll be traveling back to Cat Kingdom with you and put on a happy face and pretend that nothing is going on between us, as much as it annoys me to do so." he told her, Pyros decided to test the feelings she was having towards him, although he knew just how dangerous it was to do so, he had to find out how bad the break in their relationship was. He wrapped his arms around her in embrace while looking out at the weather, the rain hadn't eased much at all. "So, did you plan to leave now? In this weather? Is there a plan on traveling through this weather that you have?" Pyros asked her, he had given her his coat but it would become useless if too much time was spent in the rain.

NPC Killian-
He smiled softly as he listened to the young woman ask her questions. With a gentle laugh he nods and gave her answers. " Well first of all you were brought here by my son. He felt you were in trouble and needed aid. We are unknown to the other kingdomes because of our power and the nature of our kingdom. We hide to protect your peoples from our own. that blast was the result of something terrible trying to destroy everything. That i'm afraid is all that you need to know. Anything more on that would likely upset the other kingdoms. If you are able and ready i'll have some provisions brought in for you and let you be on your way. "

Pyros helped her out of her chair and looked into her eyes, telling her that he would go with her, and that it would annoy him to pretend nothing was wrong between them. Then he seemed to be contemplating something and after a moment, he put his arms around her. She stiffened in his arms, every instinct and reflex screaming at her to fight him off, but she fought the instincts instead and stood very still. Part of her mind begged to be able to return the gesture, but if she moved, she feared she would lose the battle against her instincts and would instead hurt Pyros. As he embraced her, he asked her if her plan was to leave during the rain. If she could not control the magic that was creating the rain, they would be soaked within instants if they decided to leave before it let out, and if they let it stop itself, it would be because she had no more energy to sustain it. "Wait a minute or two, and I will tell you." she said, keeping herself from moving. She closed her eyes for a moment, and envisioned the rain stopping. "Is it gone?" she asked, imagining sunshine. She wasn't sure if the trigger had worked to stop the rain, and didn't want to open her eyes in case that would make the rain begin again. She waited for Pyros to respond.

Siren seemed completely still as he held her, he knew she wasn't comfortable with it and was feeling awkward about it so he decided to release her. She said that she would tell him her plan in a minute and then closed her eyes, She asked him if the rain had gone and he looked over at the window, the rain has eased enough to travel through but it hadn't disappeared. "Not really, Its not nearly as strong as before, but its still drizzling down a little." he told her, she didn't open her eyes and Pyros wondered what it was like to have such control over the world around you and what it felt like to be giving off magic or using it. "You didn't attack me." he pointed out, thinking about the hug he had given her. He smiled and looked to the window with the rain slowly easing again, "Im sure that's a good sign, considering you were going to attack me when you first heard the news." He added as the rain eventually stopped, he moved closer to her and gave her quick kiss on the cheek while her eyes were still closed, but pulled back quickly, he knew that embrace wasn't major but he didn't want to stay to close to see her reaction to the kiss. "You can open your eyes now, the rain has cleared." he told her.

Siren felt his arms slip away and relaxed a little, pulling back some more on the magic that fueled the rain. He told her that it had eased a little, but was still not gone. After a moments silence he spoke again, commenting on the fact that she hadn't attacked him. He doesn't know the effort it took me to restrain myself... she thought, and heard him offer the suggestion that it was a good thing. She didn't comment, but stepped back in surprise as she felt him kiss her cheek, instantly tense again. Her eyes flew open miliseconds before he finished telling her that the rain was gone. "You overestimate my self control, Pyros!" she exclaimed uneasily. She forced herself to relax and took a deep breath. "Please be careful.." she warned him, and then pointed to the door. "We may leave when you are ready." Siren started walking towards the door, her ears paying attention to the sounds of Pyros' breathing and his steps on the floor. She would be able to tell if he was getting too close. She stopped at the door and looked up at him. "do you want your coat back? it may still be a little brisk, and you will feel it more than I will." she started pulling the coat off as she waited for his response.

Siren moved back quickly after he kissed her and then shouted that he overestimated her power, he could tell he was beginning to annoy her with his persistence. She told him to be careful, but it was more of a plea for him to be careful for her sake more than his. She pointed to the door and told him they could leave when he was ready, "Im sorry, I shouldn't have been so upfront with the kiss." He apologized before she walked off toward the door, he followed her soon after but was stopped once again when she asked him if he wanted his coat back while taking it off, she insisted that it would be colder for him than for her. She had already taken it off, implying she didn't really want to wear it, "Okay, if your sure that you'll be fine." Pyros replied taking the coat and putting it on as they left the tavern and stood outside. "Finally leaving Darklight..." He said as he looked up into the air, 'Finally.' he said again in his mind, the place seemed to only bring him unhappiness and challenges and he would be happy to be leaving, he was sure that Cat Kingdom would only bring many more challenges for him, but he was sure he would manage with Siren to help him, even if she didn't trust him.

Kitsura didn't know if she was less or more confused. She left as if she was between darkness and light, her eyes unable to adjust to either. She felt like she was being told half the story, kind of a round-about way. She flicked her ear. Destroying everything, but that is all that is needed to be told? hmm.... Sounds more of all that is needed be known politically, than to the individual. She shrugged her shoulders. It would be unwise to continue, she supposed. You simply can't force something out of a ruler that he doesn't want to give, and it would be dumb to try.
"Thank you for your answers. Since I cannot see any more reason to be here, I suppose I shall gather my possessions. My gratitude for your hospitality."
She got up from where she was sitting, and grabbed her bag. With some digging and looking to make sure she had everything (for she would not be coming back just because she forgot something, that would be dumb on Kitsura's part) she picked up the large bag and slung it on her shoulders. She had everything and was prepared to leave, when ever he was ready, so was she.

NPC- Killian
He smiled softly and nods. When she had gathered her things he walked with her through the rest of the palace guest rooms and through the courtyard. Soon they stood in the archway of a hallway leading from the courtyard to what appears like a mirror of the outside world. With a nod he smiled and touched the mirrored surface and it vanished, leaveing her faceing a well known pathway to her own kingdom.
