Siren nodded slowly as Kanon described his family's importance. Magic users and Scroll keepers. she repeated in her head. "I am aquainted with the roles of each of those. Do you enjoy that line of work?" she asked curiously, happy that she'd gotten him away from the topic of his deceased family members.

"Yes I do...Even if I didn't I would have to anyways.." Kanon smiled that wasn't the problem. He liked to organized things and everything about his job he liked. Except for sometimes he had to go to other kingdoms to transport documents, but that wasn't even that bad either...

Siren smiled as he replied that he did enjoy his work. "Well, even so, it's good that you enjoy doing it." she said, "I do a bit of translation and am generally the ambassador when king Saraine needs to communicate with the king of Silver Viper kingdom. I usually have escorts for that, so it isn't so dangerous." she told him.

"I See..that is nice." Kanon said with a smile."I have to travel on my own most of the time, swaping documents and such." Kanon said with a small hand gesture. He looked at her as she spoke. It seemed she really did like her job. At least she hoped she wasn't lying...

Siren looked at Kanon's long black hair as he described how he travelled alone for his work most of the time. "Do you like working alone?" she asked curiously, knowing that she only liked the alone parts of her job when she was in certain moods.

"Sometimes.." Kanon said as he shrugged a bit."You get a lot of thinking done but traveling alone down paths and stuff isn't the safest way to go." Kanon said as he felt she was looking at his hair not him, as she didn't make eye contact any longer. "Luckly I have not come along misfortune.." He said a bit reliving...

Siren's eyes moved back to his and she smiled. "That is lucky. You could defend yourself if you had to though, could you not?" she asked. He had sounded relieved that he hadn't had any troubles in his travels, and she understood that sentiment. She liked to avoid any dwellings in the human kingdoms, because she didn't feel safe near them, but he would be far safer travelling near human dwellings than in the forest. He could call for help if needed, where she couldn't.

"Depends on the curcumstances.." Kanon said plain and simply. It would depend though, on the person and if they could use magic? How Kanon was feeling and if he had practiced or used his magic today. It all was a matter of timing...
(sorry so short)

Siren watched Kanon curiously as he replied that it would depend on the circumstances. "Oh. Of course." she replied. She didn't like using her magic against others, but she had difficulties controling it once she got angry. She could kill innocent people if they were within a certain proximity of her in an angry state. Only once had she allowed herself to get so angry that she had exploded with it, the magic had shot out of her like a wave and killed three young male cats who had been teasing her. She hadn't been very old then, but even now she wasn't much older.

"Thank you for understanding...you are a mgic user as well after all.." Kanon said as he smild lightly at her. He glanced to the shef of books next to him as he looked at the titles. He had read most of the books here. He liked to read and because of that he was a pretty fast one. Kanon had always been smart from all this reading he did....

Siren nodded as he thanked her, though he didn't really have to. "Of course. I know when I am stronger and when I am weaker. You must have changes as well." she replied. She ran her finger idly down her left forearm, tracing the scar that had been made by a blade. Some men were cruel, but she couldn't retaliate. She could have caused Pyros' death by attacking the man who had cut her, and she would have died if she had let Pyros be harmed.

"Yes.. there is no other way to put it otherwise.." Kanon said with a smile. He felt understood by her which was a good feeling. He didn't know many people who really understood him he didn't really know many other magic users. he ones he did he wasn't very close to. He looked to her as he glanced from the bookshelf as he stopped looking at the books. He could be a real nerd sometimes when it came to books...

She smiled back, noticing his eyes leave the books he'd been scanning. "Are there many interesting volumes in this library?" she asked, wondering how many he had read.

"Yes...I've read most of the books in this library." Kanon replied. He had read every book since the latest shipment. New books were coming in at all times and with the help of magic the library expanded. This was why there was a lot of space around library. He was a nerd and didn't care. He remembered most of what he read but no one could remeber everything. He remember a lot for a person without photograpghic memories...

Siren smiled, impressed that he had read most of the books. There were alot in the library and it would take her a while if she tried to do the same thing. "Which one is your favourite?" she asked, a little excited to be talking about books. She liked reading, but usually she didn't have time. She wondered if they were interested in the same kinds of books.
