Kanon stood silently next to a bookshelf as he was putting some books on the shelfs. He liked to help out at the library, he was a scroll keeper after all, besides that he enjoyed books. They were full of everything you ever need. He picked up a book of the cart as he looked at the number on it. ~3432~ he thought to himself s he knelt down placing it where it belonged.
He loved organization which is one reason why he loved to do this as well. He stood back up pulling another book of the cart. He put a few more onto the shelfs before starting to push the cart to a new section. He grabbed a book as he sighed a bit. He hated being short he could never reach the top shelf with ease. He reached as he tried his hardest to put it in it's place. He didn't really like to use his magic when it wasn't necessary...

Siren sat in the library of the neutral zone, galfinia, watching as people of all races sprawled as comfortably as they could to read histories, balads, and folklore as was necessary or interesting to them. She had a very well illustrated book in front of her, and had been gazing at one of the inked pictures before she felt she couldn't ignore the magic fields that kept walking past her. A magic field was the area around a magic user in which it was easiest to sense the magic of the user. Sometimes even non magical beings could feel the power if they were within the field. She had been finding it hard to concentrate on the image in the book as a certain magic user stayed within the proximity that was required to be within his field. Since giving up on the book, she'd started looking around, trying to determine the source of the magic. She had determined already that it wasn't coming from the large hybrid wolf that stood in front of her, engrossed in a rather thick looking history book. Neither was it the small human girl, pouring over a book that looked similar to the one in front of Siren. There were only three others in the room; a human male, a small female cat, and another small female human. Siren was sure that the other human child was not the carrier of the magic, and was also skeptical about the idea of the cat having magical abilities. The most likely choice was certainly the human male, who was now stretching with all his ability, trying to replace a book on the shelf. If he was the magic user, maybe he would use his abilities to replace the book on the shelf. If that was the case, then she would be able to quickly determine that it was him. Always happier with a challenge, Siren stood up and walked over to him. "Can I help you with that?" she was slightly taller than him, but not by much, and she was sure that she could put the book away by stretching as much as he was. She waited politely incase he felt offended and refused her offer. Why doesn't he have some kind of stool? she wondered, glancing around for one as she waited, smiling, at his side.

Kanon stopped as he looked over to the girl. She was taller then him so he though she might be able to reach. He was a bit to short, he usually could reach but some of the shelfs were new. The older shelfs had lower levels then the few new ones they added. "Um yes that would be very nice if you wouldn't mind.." Kanon said as he noticed she was some sort of cat or feline as he noticed her ears. He liked that about this place, seeing people from other kingdoms. It made everything more peaceful...

Siren nodded, smiling and took the book from his hands. She reached up and placed the book easily between two others. As she lowered her arm, she concentrated a little harder on the magic she felt. It felt closer, that was for sure, so she was fairly certain that it was him that she could feel the field coming from. She could feel his gaze on her, the focus of his eyes on her ears. She twitched them self consciously, and blushed slightly. "There. I'm surprised that you don't have a stool of some sort." she commented lightly, hoping that he didn't think it was a problem that she was part cat. She was so used to the burning glares of the people from Silver Viper that she instinctively looked for hostility in all humans, even in the neutral zone, where there were so many different races converging in peace that she shouldn't have to be worried. Though, she did know that not all humans from Silver Viper were hostile. Pyros Shadow had never looked at her as if she was inferior or frightening. He treated her like an equal and it had startled her at first.

"Thank you." He said as he looked at her face as she could tell he was looking at her ears. He liked to see people from different places, it was nice. He had a few friends here and there from other kingdoms."Well this is one of the new shelfs, they are a bit higher then the rest. I can reach the others." Kanon said as he looked a the shelf. "By the way, My name is Kanon Daniels, and you would be?" He asked politly, he didn't really like to talk to other peopl without their name...

"No problem at all." she said, with a slight tilt of her head. He had returned his gaze to her face, and she relaxed a little. She nodded as he explained the shelving. She heard him say that his name was Kanon Daniels and then he asked her her name. "I'm Siren." she answered. "Its nice to meet you, Kanon Daniels." she added politely, smiling. She was curious if he could feel her field. If she had known for sure that he was the source of the magic, she would have known that as well, but she wasn't sure if she would find out. She didn't want to ask him directly, feeling that that would be rude. "Do you work here?" she asked, curious.

"Same to you.." He said as she said it was nice to meet him. He wondered why she had come up to him was it becuase she wanted to help or did she feel his field He had had people come up to him for that reason before. He wondered which it was, but whatever."No, I volunteer here often..I enjoy to help out here.."Kanon said with a smile. He gestured to the cart a bit."I come and put books away I don't mind and the libarians are happy to let me..." he added as he put his hand together behind his back. He stood like this a lot, he didn't know why it was just a habit of his...

Siren looked at the cart of books that he was pushing around. "Ah, i see. That seems like a nice thing to do." she replied. She watched as he changed positions, with his hands behind his back. He seemed a very pleasant human to be around. She found herself to be at a loss for words, and didn't know what else to say to him.

After a moment Kanon started to put a few books on the shelfs again."So are you from the cat kingdom?" He asked curiously as he glanced to her as he slid a book into place pushing it with one finger as it popped into it's rightful spot. He was wondering this for awhile, he was pretty sure that she was from the cat kingdom, but he felt like asking....

Siren looked up at Kanon as he asked her if she was from the Cat Kingdom. She thought about the question for a moment, and then nodded, replying, "Yes. That was where I was born and raised. I like to get away from time to time though. I'm not able to travel in my kingdom because of a strange pull I have.. I have to leave the kingdom, or the castle always pulls on me. I don't feel it when i'm not there." She hadn't really intended on saying so much, but she felt so at ease that the words had just slipped from her mouth as if they were pushing their way out. It was like she had been holding in everything about herself for too long, and she looked at Kanon in shock.

Kanon smirked a bit as he listened to her, most of his face was covered by hair so it was hard to see it from the side. "I see...sounds very interesting, I've never heard of something like that...is a sort of magic?" He asked curiously but calm as he pushed another book onto the shelf. He knelt down as he put a book on the bottom shelf...

His voice sounded interested as he replied, though she couldn't see his face. When he asked her if it was a sort of magic she didn't know what to tell him. The fact that it could be magic had occured to her, but it didn't really feel like magic. She didn't know what the strange pull of the castle really was. "It is a possibility... but i'm not sure. I've never encountered a magic that feels like it." she responded. She wasn't sure if anyone else had ever felt the same thing as she did when she was in the Cat Kingdom. It was almost painful for her to be away from the castle and the town it rested in. The intensity of the feeling grew the farther away she moved, until she passed out of the kingdom, where the strange pull lost its power over her completely.

"Well there are a lot of different kinds of magic..." Kanon siad as he was kneeling ashe put some books on a lower shelf."Some are rare and would be different then anything you've ever felt.." He said as he stood up again. The cart was almost empty, and all the books that were left belonged on the shelfs he was next to...

Siren looked at him pensively. "Yes, you're right. I'm still finding new magics that i've never experienced before. I still haven't found anyone like me." she said, and she still wondered if her magic was unique. From her knowledge, she didn't think either of her parents had possessed magic, or at least nothing formidable. And yet, she had a strange, dark magic within her. It was elemental, but it was the strongest when she was angry. She didn't think that any other emotion could provoke her magic more than her anger, and often when she lost her temper, her magic also burst out of her. She wanted desperately to contain that magic, to learn how to control it, but she just couldn't see a way.

"you have magic...how interesting.." He said as the cart was now empty as he had two books in hand as he was looking at them. He never thought that a person from the cat kingdom could have magic. At least he had never met one who did before. He loved leanig his kingdom, he always learned something new here. "do you really have magic within you?" Kanon asked curiously as he looked to her...
