She did not hear Kyerns words at first. She was overwhelmed by what she saw with in this dinning area. Everything seemed to great for such a horrible creature. Finally Kyern's words sank in and she turned her head towards him.
"I shall not sit...but stand behind you as you do...just incase..." she spoke softly, her face held a serious look. Something about this was making her very uneasy. Though her sword had not left her side, she was not sure if it would be enough to defeat the necromancer; if that was the case.
Gingerly, she pulled out a chair for him to sit in. She kept watching, trying to see if the necromancer was hiding somewhere near them in the shadows waiting to deploy another trick. The seriousness of her look would make Kyern uneasy himself.
As Kyern sat down, her hands rested on the back of his chair. Eyes still scanning the room; waiting for any sign of movement.

Dewdrop told Kyern that she would stand behind him, and that he should sit down at the table. She pulled a chair for him to sit in, and he took it thanking her for the support. All was silent in the dining room. The delicious smells seemed be their imaginations as their was no food, or no drinks on the table. Just empty plates and glasses, laid out on the table, unused. Kyern was about to make conversation with Dewdrop, but when he opened his mouth; another voice took his words away. "Welcome, welcome!" Kyern startled turned to look and saw a mirror at the end of the table. and within the mirror was the necromancer looking as if he was sitting in the room, but in reality was not. Kyern didn't know what to say, so he commented on the necromancers curious arrangment of dinner setting. "You going to serve any food, im sure whatever is in the kitchen is done and it smells delicious." Kyern could have kicked himself for sounding so stupid, here was the scary necromancer years early that had killed so many people, and yet he humoured Kyern and Dewdrop with a meal. The necromancer replied "Oh, there is no food in this place, there is no need for food in this place and so i dont make, bring, or serve food within this place." Kyern looking confused, then began to think a scary thought. Why did he invite us for dinner, if he dosn't eat or serve food, and where is the smell of food coming from?"

Hearing the necromancers icy words, she turned to look into the mirror that held his image. The sinister look upon his face caused her to clench her teeth together. The necromancer had to be up to something. However, she could not figure out what he was getting at by inviting them to dinner with no food.
Her hands gripped the chair a bit more as she found herself starting to speak. "Enough with these pathetic tricks and games...we are not here to play with you. In fact, " she began by turning and looking straight at the mirror. "I bet you are trying to play another game with us..."
Her insides were shacking, but she could not let this show on the outside. The necromancer was toying with them. Trying to break them of their sanity. She had to think of a way to get them both out of there or the game would never end until...one or both of them were dead. Kyern had been right about the necromancer all along.
Allowing her right hand to fall to her side, she began forming a spear made of ice, just out of sight of the mirror. Her other hand gripping the back of Kyern's chair.
"Stay close to me..." She whispered, trying not to move her lips. Then she spoke outright to the mirror with the necromancer smirking within it. "I think its time we go..." she gave a small bow. Quickly her right hand came up and the ice spear pierced through the mirror. She did not wait to see the outcome, for she had grabbed Kyern by the back of his shirt and was pulling him towards one of the many windows within the dining hall.
Before Kyern knew what was going on, she had drew her sword and began shattering windows. One after another they were illusions of the outside world, none of them were truly windows, only glass overing up a brick wall. She spun around after the last window reveal the same brick wall. She placed herself in front of Kyern, her sword held in front of them.
"Damnit...where are you you coward?!" she spoke out loud, but meant to say that to herself. "Do you know anyway out from before when you were here?" she asked over her shoulder to Kyern. "I have a feeling we do not have much time so think quickly..."

Kyern was still puzzling when he heard dewdrop to tell him to stay close to her. He didn't question her motives, and wtihin seconds she gave a courtesy and threw a spear of ice at the mirror. Kyern did not see the outcome of the mirror becuase Dewdrop hauled him out of the chair towards the windows. "The doo..." he began but when he turned to look he saw the door had disappeared. "Dewdro...." but then he saw her plan as she headed towards the windows. Great thinking he thought, then he began to dispare when she smashed the windows to reveal brick walls. She broke every single window and behind each one was a brick wall. Dewdrop was then in front of Kyern, she called the necromancer a coward and asked him if he knew a way out. Kyern shook his head "Sorry Dewdrop, but when I was here last I was always outside. I never made it into the palace". Dewdrop them commented on running out of time, but Kyern looking at the mirror whispered "I think we have more time than we think". Looking at the mirror, they now saw the dinning room with the necromancer still standing there inspecting his nails, the icicle spear in his hands. Kyern then asked "what are you plottin..." then it hit him. Looking behind the necromancer kyern saw the door, the door that had suddenly disappeared, and he knew. "Dewdrop, we are in the mirror!" Then he heard clapping, clapping coming from the necromancer. "Very good, you figured out half the riddle. But i ask you now, how do you escape from a mirror?" The question itself did not make sense, then it slowly dawned on Kyern, it wasn't a question but a riddle. The necromancer then drew out an hour glass and placed it on the table beyond the walls of the mirror, he flipped it letting the crytal sand flow through. "You have about three hours to escape, but remeber where physical strentgh fails, there is always hope." And with that said the necromancer left the room leaving Dewdrop and Kyern alone, trapped within the mirror.

"I was not fast enough!" her fist hit the wall creating a dent in the brick. Bits of the broken brick crumbled to the ground. "If only...I had seen this trick before it happened..." she was very disappointed that she had not discovered what the necromancer was planning sooner. She had known something was happening, but could not make out the true magic the necromancer was using.
She began walking towards the reflection of the mirror they were in. Gently she placed her palms against the glass. As she closed her eyes a green glow began to form under her hands. For a few moments the glow became brighter. The reflection mirror shaking under her hands. Suddenly she pulled her hands away quickly. They had been scorched by the reflecting mirror.
Turning her palms up to look at them, they looked burnt. The smell of burning flesh coming from them. Dewdrop said nothing, in fact Kyern would not know she was hurt until he glimpsed a look at her hands.
"He is using magic that I have never seen before...." *her head turned to face Kyern. A look of concern and disappointment filled her lovely angelic face. " A riddle is what we must solve then..." these words sounded painful. Kyern would hear the disappointment that she could not do anything once more. She was beginning to despair. An emotion the necromancer seemed to be waiting for.

Kyern saw Dewdrop glowing, soon a green light emerged that hit the mirror. Nothing happened to the mirror. He heard Dewdrop say that It was a riddle they must solve, but her words sounded painful and full of despair. Kyern knew the feeling, the feeling of being rendered useless and helpless, like a cat toying with a mouse. Kyern walked over to Dewdrop and placed his hand on her shoulders and said "Don't worry Dewdrop. we'll find a way out of this!" He said the words, hoping that they would lighten her mood. "Now lets think, we know were trapped within the mirror and that there is a way to escape. We also know that we have a certain amount of time to solve the necromancers riddle. We know that we were in the room when we ran towards the windows, so the switch must have been made when you tried to break the windows, only to find the break walls. So the events that happened before that....." Kyern then remembered something. "Wait a minute, the icicle spear you created was thrown at the mirror right? So how did the necromancer get it in his hands?" (ok to explain, objects within the mirror can be picked up. So when the icicle spear was thrown towards the mirror, the necromancer caught the reflection of the icicle spear on his side of the mirror and brought the real icicle spear into the mirror. Then he grabbed Kyern and Dewdrop placing them into the mirror. And using his reflection in the real room, he walked outside the real door from within the mirror. If that made any sense

Dewdrop listened to Kyern very carefully trying to pinpoint any clues to their current predicament. The necromancer had some how pulled them into the mirror after he had caught the spear, but she could not figure out how. Thought Dewdrop was strong, mind games was not one of her forte's.
"Kyern you must be on to something...thank goodness one of of has the ability to keep their wits about them." she said pondering over the mirror. Everything looked the same on both sides, but their had to be some way of breaking the seal and free themselves. She could not understand why some one of thing would get their jollies through other peoples pain; then again she thought about Lord chaos and simple shook her head.
Finally, Dewdrop decided their was only one way to test the connection. She was going to create another ice spear and try throwing it through the mirror. Opening her hand the same soft blue glow began to form; which in a matter of moments created the spear.
"If you have any better ideas I am ready to hear them...however, there is some connection here that does not make sense. Perhaps there is a way to get past the mirror with little to no effort. We could just be thinking to deeply into our current situation..." at least that is what she hoped as the spear left her hand and flew towards the mirror.

Kyern saw Dewdrop create the ice spear, then he saw her throw it towards the mirror. He then tested his theory. Dewdrop released the spear from her hands and as it flew towards the mirror; he used his reflection, moved towards the icicles reflection and by using his relfelection, he caught the ice spears reflection within the mirror. "Dewdrop, I think I figured it out" he said as he showed her his reflection holding the spear in the real room. "I believe that the two rooms are connected still, but this one dosn't have a door, so if my reasoning is correct then we should be able to use our reflections to walk through the real door and escape the room." He then walked over using his reflection as a pinpoint, and when he saw that his relfection had reached the door in the real room, he walked through it. Kyern seemed to pass through nothing, but then he was in the hallway again and the necromancer was nowhere to be seen. He turned around to see if Dewdrop was following.

She watched Kyern with his theory. He moved his reflection to the door and walked out. She followed, walking through nothingness and then finally standing beside Kyern.
"Thank goodness we have each other right now..." She glanced over towards him, they were not out of danger yet, but she had to tell him something. "Kyern, about earlier when I thought you had left me...I am sorry." admitting you were wrong is one of the hardest things to do. "Let us leave this awful place together."
The long hallway was dark acting as an endless hall of nothingness. Holding out her hand a soft glow formed. A small blue light formed inches above her hand. She was unsure of what the necromancer might try next, but she wished also not to find out.
As they began walking down the hallway. Dewdrop started to feel uneasy again as though something else was about to happen. "unfortunately, I fear we are far from leaving this dismal place." she spoke drawing forth the sword life bringer. "This is becoming tiresome..." Kyern would be able to tell that something did not feel right as she did. The feeling grew stronger the farther down the hall they walked.
Suddenly her light faded and Kyern would find himself alone once more. She had fallen through a hole in the darkness.

Kyern heard Dewdrop's apology and in response he said "No problem, and I apologize too for not noticing your disapperance sooner". She nodded her head and said "Lets us leave thisawful place together", in which Kyern replied "Yes, lets do that". They began walking down the hallway. The hallway seemed endless and they both walked down its darkening corridors. An uneasiness settled over the both of them, with an anticipation that the silence would be broken and the necromancer would appear yet again. Dewdrop drew out her sword commenting on how tiresome these cowardly attempts on their lives were becoming and that they were far from leaving. Kyern turned to reply to her comments, but as he turned he saw Dewdrop fall through a darkness that appeared suddenly in the floor. "Dewdrop" he shouted as he dived at the already disappearing hole. He landed on top of the spot which had already hardened into the floor once more. He pounded his hands on the spot shouting out Dewdrops name with each thrust. Kyern soon realized that his attempts were pointless and that the darkness that had swallowed Dewdrop was gone, as if it had dissolved into the floor. Kyern put both his hands on the spot and began to use his summoning magic. He took a deep breathe and said outloud "Spirit Beast Summon, Shadow Beast Hound". A bright circle appeared around Kyern and a black dog with white eyes appeared. The dog was made of shadows and had no fur, the eyes nothing more than empty sockets. The Shadow Beast Dog was a lower level demon with no offensive abilities, it only had the ability to track down persons. Kyern told the demon to looked for Dewdrop, and the dog began sniffing and moving around the corriodrs trying to track down Dewdrop. As Kyern followed the dog he silently prayed that Dewdrop would hold out until he arrived, or that she's solve the problem by herself. He knew she was certainly owerful enough to do so.

As the darkness over took her; she could hear Kyerns voice becoming fainter and fainter as she fell through nothingness. Just as suddenly as her fall started it stopped. She was now suspended within the blackness.
"You are a very tricky one...far trickier then most." She heard the necromancers voice echo around her. When she went to reply nothing came out. "You can not speak. If I take away your voice, no more can you cast your spells." The voice mocked her as she spread her wings forth.
"Kyern...I hope your ok..." she thought closing her eyes. Slowly she drew her hands to her chest; interlocking her fingers. The gold lining along the outer part of her wings; began to glow, filling the darkness with a golden color. A soft swirl energy began to encircle her. From the darkness Life Bringer appeared. Once her hand gripped the hilt a third wing shot out of her back. Her outfit changed to armor of pure silver.
She no longer heard the necromancer speaking to her. However, she started to focus the evil which lurked around her. Always a step ahead of them, but now nothing but prey for her. She had transformed in to the Nova Angel. Usually when all hope seemed lost; the power of the Nova always came to her. Though she was still new to this power, she always seemed able to use it.
With all three wings spread wide open; they flapped once and she was off. Flying back up the way she had fallen until bursting through the floor. She floated back to the ground; barely seeing Kyerns form stop a little ways down the hall. In front of him she could see the hell beast. HE must had summoned the creature to find her.
"Come my friend...let us lea...AHHH" she was not able to complete her comment. She fell suddenly to the floor, the third wing vanishing. Her body laid motionless. When Kyern raced back to her; he would see a small wooden stick with a greenish blue jewel sticking out of the top, sticking out of her back. The necromancer's voice filled the still very dark hallway.
"Good...such power will be put to good use...never seen one so strong..." his words would send shivers down Kyerns body. Slowly Dewdrops body lifted off the ground. She was unconscious, hovering there before him. The jewel on the wooden stick had begun to pulse. A trick Kyern might have seen before. The necromancer was trying to draw her life essence from her. To keep her body as a puppet to protect his home and using her powers to give his self more strength.
(I hope its okay I took up speaking some for the necromancer...and I hope this post is okay..I wanted more excitement perhaps to keep us both stimulated. If you dont like it I will change it ^_^)

(Don't worry about it, I love it when things get exciting . Its also an excellent post!) Kyern was led by the Demon Dog towards the end of the hallway when the dog suddenlt jerked its head back and barked. Kyern turned and saw Dewdrop fly out of the floor. She was in her Nova Angel form and tears started dripping from Kyerns eyes at the beautiful sight before him. She than began to speak saying "Come my friend...let us lea...AHHH" and as she let out her scream Kyern saw her third wing fall off. He rushed over to Dewdrop only to discover that she ahd falling unconscious. Then he heard whispering that sent shivers coursing through his body. He couldn't make out the words but the speaker was evident. Then Kyern noticed the staff sticking out of Dewdrop. He recongized it instantly. The Staff's purpose was to steal life energies and powers from the victim, eventually turning them into puppets. Dewdrop is a very stong individual Kyern thought to himself. With her level of power she would be able to withstand about thirty minutes with the staff within her before she became a puppet. This gave Kyern exactly half an hour to find and destroy the necromancer. For the only way to remove the staff was to either have the one who put it in there remove it, or to kill the one who put it in her thus allowing the killer to remove themself. Kyern then reasked the Demon to find the necromancer and the hound in sync with Kyern put its nose to the ground and began following the recent scent of the necromancer. Kyern followed the hound through the corridors and out through a side door in a marble lobby to the outside patio. The hound began running now showing of the sign that it was closing in on the location of the necromancer. He followed the hound up some stairs and right into a courtyard with brick walls entangled in vines and a fountain of a dragon shooting water out of its nostrils. Then he saw the necromancer, quietly sitting on the side of the fountain. Kyern looked at the necromancer, and the necromancer starred at Kyern (so he assumed). At a closer inspection the necromancer had no face, just a hood with darkness inside it. No words were exchanged, for the silence said it all. The necromancer then stood up and said in his dark deep voice with dialouge from Dewdrop as well making it sound like two people talking at once. "If I win, I will take all of the Angels powers and life force. And I will also tap into your immortality and use the staff to steal your life force making me immortal." The demands were great for Kyern and the risks were high. If he lost it would mean Dewdrops death and his enternal suffering. More importantly was Dewdrops death. But he knew that the necromancer knew that he had no choice. Choose not to fight would also result in Dewdrops death. So Kyern made his decesion and decided to end this once and for all. "I accept, However if I win you will release Dewdrop and you will surrender me all of your possesions." The necromancer nodded his agreement and took out a bow. Kyern could only watch as the necromancer drew the string, created an arrow made of darkness and fierd the arrow straight at Kyern at an frieghtining speed. Time slowed around Kyern as he saw the arrow coming towards him. The arrow made impact and rays of dark light shot out around the target inclosing the victim in a black sphere of shadows. The necromancer lowered his bow as the shadows around the body began vading. He excpected total victory, a shot even the gods themselves would envy, which had no survivors. Finally the light from the candle light street lights in the courtyard began breaking through the shadows and revealing the body. But what the necromancer saw surprised him. Instead of seeing the winged man, he now saw a girl standing where the man was, and she was unharmed. "How?" whispered the necromancer and the woman put her finger to her lip and shushed him. Thats when the necromancer saw the red eyes of the woman and realized what she was. "You! Your a Vampire!". Niera smiled at the Necromancer as he told her that she was a Vampire. Niera spoke to the necromancer than saying "Yes, me and Kyern share the same body. He takes certain shifts and I take mine and unfortunately Necromancer it is my shift". And as she finished her sentence she ran towards the necromancer at an unrivaled speed. She jumped like a tiger towards the Necromancers face. She couldn't see his face, but if she could she could bet that it would have shown fear. Pulling a knife from her belt, she landed her finishing blow sticking the knife straight through the necromancers hood. She landed her pounce and looked behind herself to see the necromancer's body go up in flame and disinegrate into the air as ash. She didn't honor his memory, for Niera could tell that the necromancer had outlived his lifespan many times over. Niera than felt her earing shake and she looked to see that the sun was almost up from its slumber. Goodbye for another day she thought to herself and she changed into Kyern. Kyern looked around and began heading towards Dewdrop to remove the staff. He had already known what happened because what Niera saw he saw, and what Kyern saw Niera saw also. The wariness of the staff should have faded so Dewdrop would be coming around by now. She may even be able to remove the staff by herself he thought with a smile. The Necromancer had failed to defeat an even darker force than himself, and now he could finally rest at peace.

( I clap for you well executed post ^_^!)
A small last breath slipped through her lips. Behind this small breath followed a bright white light; which began to trickle from her mouth. Her flesh was quiet cold to the touch. The battle between Kyern and the necromancer had taken long then it should have. Though Kyern had done his best all hope for Dewdrop seemed lost.
Suddenly a wave of energy washed over the palace of the former necromancer. The bright light slipped back into Dewdrops mouth followed by a large breath. Her eyes fluttered open. She tried to move quickly, but failed. She had managed to get to her knees; her head still spinning. Within her back the staff was still sticking, the jewel had shattered at the destruction of the necromancer.
"Kyern?..." were her first words, she feared for his safety. Soon she would realize he had managed to destroy the necromancer. Reaching her right hand to the staff she quickly drew it forth. Her teeth clenched at the rush of pain. The staff had been in her back rather deeply. Throwing the staff to the side; she reached back with her right hand once more to try and heal the wound. After a few moments of trying, her hands fell forward. A small flow of blood was spilling from her back.
"I thought...I could heal myself?...perhaps not dark magic wounds..." she whispered aloud, trying to stand slowly. She managed to get to her feet, her body leaning against the wall. Wings slumped at her sides. The reason she felt so weak was due to having her life essence almost consumed by the necromancer. If she was mortal she would have died instantly.
"Kyern? Where are you?..." she called bracing herself still against the wall. Before heading down the hall, she picked up Life Bringer and placed it back at her side. She was sure they would face more dangers then just the necromancer. This did not sway her decision to continue their quest for her memories of the past.

Kyern entered the mansion which he now realized was a dump. The windows were all cracked, the furniture was worn out and covered in dust. The curtains, rugs and paintings on the walls were all moth eaten and moldy. The necromancer must have used illusions to make the house seem more friendly than what it really was. Kyern then entered the hallway and saw Dewdrop leaning against the wall. Kyern rushed over to her side and grabbed her hand shouting "Dewdrop, are you alright?". He looked to see her back wound and sighed a little. The wound wouldn't have even caused a second glance if Dewdrop were at full power, but Kyern could tell that the staff had caused a huge strain on her body. "Here Dewdrop, take some of my power" he said to her as he grabbed both of her hands, preparing himself to transfer his life energy and magic to her.

She gave a small smile when she saw Kyern rush over to her. The wound hurt terrible, but she did not wish for Kyern to see her pain.
"I shall not take your powers or even an ounce of your life...I shall be fine in time...I always am." she smiled again; gently pulling back her hands from his. "You have done well my friend. You did what I could not..." she trailed off and looked away. She doubted her own ability; for a warrior angel should not be so weak and helpless. Deep down she had never been much of a fighter.
Shaking her head lightly, her body trembled a sign she had lost a good amount of blood. She was not sure how much longer her legs could hold her. "Let us leave this terrible place..." she took a step forward. The room went black as she fell forward into Kyern. Dewdrop had blacked out. Her body was exhausted and slightly pulled to its limits.
