Kyern kept walking, he didn't dare look back in case he saw someone following them which would cause him to panic. As he kept moving forward he soon realized that he couldn't hear dewdrops foots steps and he turned and screamed as he saw the floating cloaks of the necromancer.
Kyern sprinted away from the spot at full speed. He could hear the laughs echo through the woods as he ran. Kyern now had to do many things. One was find out where dewdrop had gone and the other was to avoid the necromancer.
Suddenly the ground gave way and Kyern fell into a chasm the had opened up in the ground. He thought that he would be crushed when he hit the bottom, but instead he landed into an underwater river.
The river was flowing so fast that Kyern could barely keep above the water. Soon he was dragged under and he was loosing breathe. If something didn't happen soon then he would drown, and he couldn't die. Not yet anyways.
Then suddenly the water calmed down and Kyern was able to swim to the surface. When he got up he gasped for breathe and saw that the underwater river lead to a cavern. It was here that Kyern saw Dewdrop chained to the wall of the cave. Up to her stomach in water.
"Dewdrop" Kyern said in relief. So she wasn't dead, he was so glad.
Then suddenly Kyern felt chains attack themselves to his feet and the chains began to drag him towards a hole in the floor were the water was deeper. Soon the chains went into the hole and attached themselves to the bottom of the pit so that Kyern was up to his neck in the water.
Kyern was now tied up like Dewdrop.
"Dewdrop are you alright?" asked Kyern. Then he saw her chin and waist where the skin was a pale white, almost as if they were frozen by ice.
He waited for her answer.

Kyern had left her. was all she could think of the rest was a blur. She felt her body being drug somewhere. There was no light, perhaps no hope for survival either. A few times she had attempted to use magic, but failed. The necromancer was some how hindering her magic use.
After a while she still felt coldness on her chin and at her waist. She had not known this, but the touch of the necromancer had left ice on her chin and across her waist where the fabric had been froze into a hole. At this time too, she felt her body being submerged in water to her waist. Her body shivered some for the water was bitter cold.
She felt the necromancer studying her wings, stretching them out and examining them. At one point she was sure she heard him whisper among st himself. "A female... have not seen in so long..."
"Strong one, she is..." a icy hand ran down her cheek. "Will make the perfect experiment..."
Silence filled the area around her as the necromancer left. Soon the silence was broken by a rush of water and someone gasping for air. Soon it was apparent who this person was. His words filled her ears as Kyern tried to speak to her.
"Don't talk to me..." was all she would say to him. She had promised to stay by his side and help him out of any situation that would befall them; only to have Kyern run away on her when she was in need of his help. Their trip was over, at least in her mind. All she would think about now is how to get them out of that place. Though Kyern did not deserve help, she could not consciously leave him in a place like this.
The whole time she had been there, she had been trying to work free one of her wrists. By now they both were pretty raw, but this did not matter to her. After some more time she finally managed to get her left hand free. There had been magic placed on the chains, so she had been aware that she could not just break the chains.

Kyern winced at her words. It was apparent that she was mad at him from the tone and from the words themselves and he reasoned that he would have been mad too. Although Kyern didn't even notice that Dewdrop had been missing, no sound was made and he was almost positive she was following.
He then decided to stop talking to Dewdrop. She could be mad at him, he didn't really care at the moment. He was more concerned with the bigger problems at hand like how would they escap.... then Kyern heard the snap of chains and looked to see dewdrop free her left hand from the chains. Kyern looked down to his feet that were chained up and considered his odss at escape.
He continued to watch dewdrop wondering if she would be able to free her right hand. But as she struggled he began to hear echoing footsteps from the cavern/dungeon door. And the room was getting colder as each step approached.

Again, she attempted and failed to use her magic. Something was preventing her to call forth her inner will, which was the source of most magic users powers. Her left hand gripped the shackle which still held her to the cool, rock wall.
She felt a bit guilty for snapping like she had done at Kyern. Perhaps she was over reacting, as most mortals would say to each other when something simple was taken out of context. However, in the back of her mind she felt a slight sense of betrayal for Kyern to have not told her sooner about the Necromancer.
The foot steps began to sound closer and closer. Without thinking about her own pain any longer, she pulled her hand through the shackle, cutting the skin on her right wrist. Small droplets began to fall into the water. Her eyes shifted to kyern.
Her legs had not been shackled. Perhaps this was due to her magic being restricted and her weapon being taken. Flapping her wings once she had lifted out of the water.
The air became cooler, breathing became harsher.
Her formed turned to Kyern, whose neck down had been submerged in the icy water. Her hands moved to grip the top of the shackles which held him. The look of concern upon his face vanished when she whispered.
"Please, just trust me...I wont leave you behind." Though her words were a bit cruel, she said nothing more. Her wings stretched out behind her, supporting her as her feet braced the rock wall. With tremendous effort she managed to pull the top part of the chains from the rock. In doing so, the shackles around his feet began to drag him under.
A chill filled her, as she had dived into the water to hold Kyern up; behind them stood the necromancer.
All she could say was, "I am sorry...I tried..." through bits of panting. Her eyes narrowed at they met the dark pools of the necromancer.

Kyern watched Dewdrop free herself from her wrist chains then headed over towards him even as the foot steps approached closer and closer. The entire pool and become so cold that Kyern's body began to shiver. This was in fact the first time Kyern ever felt being cold. Being immortal allowed him to never freeze or boil to death but this water was what mortals called cold. And water that immortals could feels as cold either very powerful itself or someone very powerful made it that way themself.
Something that surprised him though was tha tDewdrop came and tried to free him from his chains. Kyern looked and whispered "Dewdrop don't just escap...." but then suddenly he was dragged under the water as the chains around his feet pulled him under. Immortals could hold their breath for ten minutes instead of the average two that mortals could hold. Dewdrop then dived into the water and tried to pull him up though even after he betrayel to her. She is a very honorable person he thought but her strentgh wasn't enough. He was still under and now the water was at its coldest and looking up he could see the necromancers rippiling body and Dewdrop looked at him.
Dewdrop focus, you need to focus. Kyern thought to himself. Two minut4s had already gone by and he was begining to feel the unbearable pain as the pressure on his chest increased.

Can you play the necromancer, since he is your character kinda >.>...if you don't want to we can do it together ^_^ I am okay with that too.)
Though the necromancer stood before them, she knew she had to get Kyern out of the water. Perhaps this was one of the necromancer's torture methods. The most difficult part was that she knew with the use of her magic she could easily have pulled Kyern from the water.
"Kyern, please hold on..." she thought, trying to reach out her thoughts to him.
Unsure what was going to happen once she turned her back, she knew she had to in oder to save Kyern. In her chest she still felt a slight sting when she thought about how Kyern had run and left her behind.
She dove under the water once more. Kyern's face revealed that he was starting to panic; for at this point he had been under water for 4 minutes. She swam down past him, to the chains the held his feet.
Her hands gripped both sides of the chain and began to pull. She had planted her feet against the bottom of the water. Since she too, was immortal, she had 10 minutes to stay under water; where Kyern only had 5 left.
She continued to pull with all her might. The chains her not bugging. Kyern's eyes began to close slightly, less bubbles escaped his lips.
"Dammit Kyern, just hold on!" she thought sharply to him. Knowing that his thoughts would definitely pick up these words. A since of panic began to well inside of her. What if she could not get him freed? She would be alone against the necromancer. Also, she would never fine out of her true past. They could not just die this way.
The amulet around her neck shimmered. She felt a hot rush fill her. As though something had given her the strength to continue on. Once more her hands gripped the chains and pulled. Slowly but surely the chains began to break away. Again, she pulled with all her might. The amulet started to glow a soft green.
With one last hard pulled the chains gave away, but she was not sure how much time had gone by. Kyern did not seem to be alert. His eyes were close and his body was limp. One of her arms wrapped around his chest as she began to swim to the top of the water again. She was not sure if she was going to make it. Panic began to fill her once more.

Alright i'll play the necromancer too Also you can as well The Necromancer stood over the pit staring down at the two imoortals before him. Although in terms of power they were all equal. The only thing that kept the necromancer in power was the spirits he was controlling and using to enchance his magic. The spirits of the dead contained strong power spiritaully and magicall ybut not physically so they couldn't be used to directly attack unless magically. Even now the necromancer stood counting the minutes in his head as the Angel tried to rescue the immortal. The chains were enhanced by spirits so to overcome them would take great spiritual power. Then suddenly he felt the power, her power, being channeled through her pendant. Soon the spirits in the chains fled and the chains regaining their earthly strentgh broke almost instantly under the Angels Power. Soon Kyern was above the water but barely conscious as the Angel held him in their hands. It had been so long since the Necromancer had had company like this. Strong company. He felt inside him a mercy he had long since abodanoned that he knew he had to talk with them. Looking at the Angel he knew that she was a worthy opponent, and when he regained his power so would the Immortal. He seemed to carry some ancient dark magic inside him. While the Angel contained such blinding light. "will you and your companion join me for dinner?" He asked. He had long ago forgoten formalities so a simple request was all the Angel got. Ok sorry for the sudden plot twist but we do end up killing him later. So for now lets enjoy his hospitality

Okay and a twist is always good ) Her long hair sprawled the cool rocks under them. A few strands lay upon Kyerns chest. His head resting in her lap. Her hands gripped his shoulders tightly. Breathing came in gulps, for a moment before she was able to catch her breath fully. She shivered a bit, the coolness of the cave and her soaked clothing were the reasons behind this. The necromancer talked, as though nothing had happened; inviting them both to dinner. As he spoke, she felt the warmth of her powers returning to her. She was no longer cold, but still soaked. Her eyes had not left the form of the necromancer. For some reason, her head seemed to move on its own or perhaps it was the shock she was in from the sudden invitation. Slowly she nodded up and down. With that the necromancer began to walk away heading back up the stair case he had just descended moments before. Her eyes slowly fell upon Kyern, who lay in her lap barely breathing. She moved her hands from his shoulders and held them firmly on his chest. A white light began to form from her palms. The light grew brighter with ever moment, until finally the light flashed and soon began to fade again. "Kyern, open your eyes..." she whispered into his ear as he inhaled two great breaths and began to breath in a steady pace once more.

All was dark, Kyern trapped inside his own mind felt the increasing panic of being isoalted alone. Then he opened his eyes. Everything was fuzzy at first, but his eyes focussed and he saw the face of Dewdrop. Her face was like Christmas morning when everyone woke up early all happy to open their presents. He was so happy, so happy that he wasn't alone. "Dewdrop...What happened?" Looking around he saw his chains were broken and he was no longer drowning. Even the necromancer had left the room. He was so confused, his memory a murky abyss that hled no answers for him. He looked at Dewdrop waiting for her to answer his question, hoping that she would say she defeated the necromancer, that he was now dead.

The worry in his eyes told her much of what he was going through. Perhaps he thought she had left him; like she felt he had left her. For now; all was forgiven in her eyes. There was no need to dwell on things one can not change. She placed a hand on his cheek and whispered "welcome back..." before moving to help him onto his feet.
She stood slowly, stretching her wings. Droplets of water hit the ground, echoing around them as though it were raining. Folding her wings once more, her eyes were locked on the staircase. He asked her questions; questions that did need answering. However, how could she answer these questions when she was not sure what was going on herself?
Finally she sighed and spoke softly, "We have been invited to dinner..." she turned and faced Kyern once more. She could see the confusion starting to form on his face."but perhaps I should start at the beginning." she stated as she started to tell him the events that had just unfolded.
"...then he left, leaving me to tend to you..." she finished, turning to face him once more. "what can you make of this? You have been here once before...is there a method to this madness?" she questioned him softly, trying not to sound worried, but calm and collect.
(I missed you! Hopefully we can get this going faster now..I promise to be on more ^_^)

(Me too Kyern was confused, just as confused as Dewdrop. "The last time I was here I was a prisoner. The leader of the troops decided to pass through here and he fell into the trap. The necromancer at that time appeared to us and told us about the rules to his sick game. I still remember the simple rules to this day. Rule one was If he caught you, you had to fight him to the death or run away. Rule two was noone could leave, and the last rule was that the last three people out of the comapny of sixty or so would be let go. The majority of the men killed each other and the ones who lived were me, the captian of the troops, and the youngest soldier there, a kid no more than 14 years old. And never once did the necromancer stop or invite any of us to dinner. So I don't know what to make of this situation." He pulled himself up and looked at the staricase. "Well there's only one way to find out whats going on, and its rude to refuse an invite to dinner."

She walked up to Kyern, placing a hand on his shoulder. Her eyes were calm and relaxing to stare into.
"We are in this together, are we not?" she spoke lightly, glancing back at the stairs before starting towards them. "Together we will get through this Kyern, I promise..." she hoped this was a promise she could keep. There was no telling what awaited both of them once they went up the stairs.
Without another word, she headed up the stairs, readying herself for anything. A very delicious smell filled the hall; once they had reached the top of the stairs. An uneasy feeling began to form in the pit of her stomach. She wish she could tell what awaited them, once joining the necromancer for dinner.
(my computer has been dead for a while...hope everything is well with you and looking forward to picking this back up)

looking back at dewdrop, Kyern smiled and said to her "of course were in this together" and he took the step into the room.
They were now both in the hallway, a very long hallway with a red carpet floor, with marble pillars that had torches that lit the hallway up. The hallway seemed to continue on forever in either direction. The walls themselves were elegant windows, and when looking outside all you could see were the trees swaying in the wind and the moons reflection on a lake in the distance.
The necromancer wasn't in sight. Kyern was just about to ask Dewdrop which way was there best bet when suddenly all of the torches in the hallway blew out, except for one down the hallway quite a ways to there left. The torch showed the outline of a open door, where a delicious aroma was coming from.
Kyern looked back at Dewdrop just seeing her outline in the moonlight and said "I assume we head towards the light" and they both began walking forwards. Towards the door and towards the ever growing smell of delicious food.

Walking beside Kyern, she glanced over towards him. His face held an uneasy look. She could tell he was quiet nervous. Lines were forming on his for head, indicating he was in deep thought. Slowly she moved her hand out and took his gently, giving just a gentle squeeze.
As he glanced at her, she looked straight ahead, whispering "No worries...okay Kyern?" she said these words not only to him, but to herself as well. The fear of the unknown and forgotten were things which troubled her. None the less, she had to keep her focus, to ensure both their safety.
Reaching the end of the hall, she let go of his hand and slowly opened the door at the end of the hall. Peering in, she noticed a fire place right away. She was very hesitant to open the door the rest of the way. However, with a deep breath she pushed the door open. The delicious smell of food washing over them, causing a growl come from each of their stomachs.

Kyern followed Dewdrop into the room. At first glimpse Kyern was overwhlemed by the Majesty and luxury the room beheld. There was a fireplace, with a marble outline. Carved into the marble surrondung the fireplace was the scene of a hunt of noblemen chaisng a white stag. Hanging from the ceiling were chandeliers with diamonds hanging from them like sparkling spiderwebs. The diamonds thensleves relfected the mixture of moonlight and firelight luminating the enitre room. The room, same as the hallway had a view of the scencery outside, this time it was view of a garden. With a moon shaped foutain in the background.
The table also resembled the glamour of the room. There were about thirty places to sit, each place with its own dinner setting. Each piece of silverware had rare stones encrsuted into them, and all of the plates had masterpieces of artwork on them, each different from the plate beside them. The napkins were all folded to resemble swans as well.
Missing in action was the necromancer himself. His absence brought a uneasiness about Kyern but looking at Dewdrop he gained more confidence. Looking at her he said ,"I guess we can sit anywhere we want!"
