she gave a gentle nod and continued to walk. Though she was listening to him, her mind kept on wondering. After the epic battle at Darklight; there were still many questions that needed to be answered. She hoped the woman of this temple would be able to help her. Also, help her find her lost brother.
"Kyern, I do not know much about you...would it be rude of me to ask you to give me a bit of a background about yourself? I am sure you have questions for me too. Since this is going to be a long journey, would it not be nice to get to know each other better?" she hoped she was not crossing the line by asking such questions.

Kyern looked at Dewdrop and smiled. her question was one that he had been asked for a very long time now. Although there was so much history he had expirenced that it was rather difficult to choose what to say and what should remain hidden.
"No your question is not rude to me, I'm actually asked to tell stories of the past quite often so I'm use to it.
I guess i'll start by saying how i became an immortal. Well it's actually a very long story so too summarize it all up It was during the Era where humans and Dragons were at War. The War lasted so long that the Warriors Crater and surronding countries were all one by one drawn into it and soon the entire contient was at war.
The human nation was the largest at the time but the warriors were weak so to toughen them up the Silver Viper King made a pact with the three fates to give his soldiers strong magic and in return he'd give up the thing he valued most in this world.
So soon all of the Human troops had enchanted armour and weapons, and the vast majority of them had mastered advanced magic in such a short time that the dragons and other waring countries were all caught off guard and almost all eliminated. The Human country then signed treaties with the fox and cat kingdom which was the first time in history that the warriors crater had all been united under one banner and with this massive army the Warriors crater drove out all the remaining armies and dragons.
But the thing the king had to give up too the fates that he had valued most was his dearest friend. The fates then took his friend and gave him wings and everlasting life. They then used him as a link to the mortal world and after a thousand years the finally gave him up and granted him his freedom. That person of course was me, and so three thousand years later i'm still alive. And of course throughout those three thousand years i've been all over the place and too toehr contients as well. i have fought many wars on both the victourious and defeated sides and I've never been able to love because i have always outlived all my friends. So i've always treasured my friends while they lasted and i get too watch them be born and grow up until they die and yet i still go on without stopping."
He stopped talking there and hoped his answer was enough for her.

She had not realized there were tears in her eyes. His story only seemed sad because of the look he held within his own eyes. At the beginning of the story he seemed content, but as his story went on, the look in his eyes became more and more sad.
With out thinking, she had stopped and placed a hand upon his cheek. " I do not know of the life you lived other then what you tell me, but I can tell that it has made you very lonely and sad...though you might not admit to it..." she pulled her hand away rather quickly. "I...I am sorry...it was just the look in your eyes, well saddened me..."
She took a few steps forward and stopped, glancing back at him. A small smile filled her lips. "Though I have not lived as long as you, four I have only been alive for one thousand and fifty years...I am sure I will...though the very look that saddened me about you also frightens me. For I too, seem to be walking this world alone...and fate has been similarly cruel..." while she talked she had looked to the ground. Slowly her eyes met his before she turned away and started to walk again. A small shimmer fell as her head turned. "Let us continue...and thank you for sharing your story."

"No problem Dewdrop" replied Kyern. (Ok sorry but I am going to kinda fastforward time cause I don't think we can keep up a conversation for this long. Also I have many idea's for this roleplay, but many of them are quite a bit later in this roleplay so it will start of slow. But as we progress into the journey we will get into more complicated plots and situations which we keep me wanting to post all night. So this is the quite before the storm basically, Is that alright? Also any of your idea's are welcome too cause I intend to beat Siren and Pyro's ;D) After Kyern said this there was not much talking between the two. They kept walking alongside each other on the road. Whenever others passed them on the road both Kyern and Dewdrop quickley hid their wings as to not attract attention. At around lunch time it began to rain quite hard which made flying impossible, but the two of them kept walking. Kyern unaffected by the cold and Dewdrop who used her magic to stay dry. Because of the rain there were no travelers and both Kyern and Dewdrop let their wings out to give them a stretch. After many hours of walking Kyern finally broke the silence by saying "We can spend the night in the next inn, if thats alright with you. The owner there is a fox kingdom hybrid who moved to the Silver Viper Kingdom after the hybrid war. So how bout it?" (Sorry for the powerplaying as well but seeming how its just you and me I figured it'd be alright to control each others characters a little bit when were passing time like that. Its alright with me if you powerplay my character but i don't want to risk offending you so is it alright if I can powerplay your character on time laps like that?

(its fine..jsut not all the time lol ^_^! Its really okay I am just kidding and yes we can try to beat Siren and Pyros, but I doubt that its going to happen, but I will give it my all! ) She felt a bit awkward as they walked along side each other. For they had not spoken in some time. When they reached the outskirts of another small village; this one having been the third or fourth they had passed, Kyern asked if it would be alright to stay at the next inn. Kyern apparently had known someone there. "that sounds fine...it will be much better to stay somewhere warm and dry until the morning." she spoke, taking up part of her cloak and ringing it of all the water it held. The rain just seemed to fall harder as they made their way to the inn. Once inside, Kyern walked to the front counter and talked with the person there. While they were in conversation, she glanced around the inn at the others that were there. A few of the men gave her winks. She had pulled her hood off her head when they entered this place. Paying them no mind, she stepped back to Kyern as he handed her the room key. "Thank you..." she whispered, turning and heading up the stairs. A few cat calls could be heard behind her as she reached the top of the stairs. With a shake of her head, she found the room that was there and headed inside. After a few minutes she had a fire going in the fire place and her cloak was hung to dry. Sitting in front of the fire, her hair was out of its braid and flowing down along her shoulders and back. It was so long that it even sprawled the ground. Her wings were open and curved forward. Her eyes were closed and her hands were in her lap. She was in a deep meditation. (I hope thats okay ^_^ lol)

Kyern walked up to the counter of the inn and looked at the woman behind it. He asked the woman for two rooms, and after handing her the amount of gold coins needed she handed over the two keys.
Kyern walked over to Dewdrop and gave her the key. "tonight we'll share differnt rooms. Also its been a long walk so i think i'll go check myself into my room after some dinner".
Dewdrop had a differnt idea as she knodded her head and thanked him for he key. Instead of staying for foos she headed upstairs towards her room.
Kyern then walked over to the bar and noticed the half fox hybrid behind it. He smiled and knodded to Jeff you only smiled back as tonight the inn was quite busy as travelers sought shelter from the rain.
After getting his meal Kyern began to eat away. His entire dish was all vegetables, but that didn't seem to bother him for the simple fact that it was free from jeff.
Quite suddenly Kyern felt a like he was being watched, being wathced by someone with advanced power and as he turned to look he saw nobody looking directly at him. Must just be me he thought as he finished up his vegetables.
He then left the dishes on the bar counter and retired to his room. He walked up the stairs and turned to the hallway were his room was located. he walked up to the door and was quite surprised to see a note on the door. He picked it up and quickly read the little message and looked at it closely trying to find any traces of magic. there was none.
The note had said, written in blood "you'll both be dead".
Worried about Dewdrop he walked over to her room and knocked on the door hoping she was alright. There seemed to be a killer on the loose. Wiether it was an assassian, bounty hunter or a Hybrid hunter was unknown to Kyern. But from past expierence he knew that these threats were to not be ignored.

While in deep meditation, the usual images of a fire surrounding a large palace and a figure of a man walking from the fire, interrupted her meditation. This night, she had been closer then ever to seeing the face of the man she could not remember, but knew very well.
She opened her eyes to the knocking at the door. The images of her meditation still lingered as she stood. Her hand reached for Life bringer, her sword, before heading to the door. Upon opening the door she saw it was only Kyern and lowered the sword.
From the look on his face she could tell something was wrong, "Kyern, are you alright? From the look upon your face there is something happening..." her eyes shifted to his hands where the blood written note was being gripped.
She reached out her hand and gently gripped the note. Kyerns hands released the note, allowing her to read it. Once she had finished the note, an expression of slight worry filled her angelic face. "It seems we have some enemies...but I wonder how this could be." she spoke in a soft voice. Glancing around the hall she quickly grabbed Kyern and dragged him into the room, shutting the door behind them. This way they had a bit more privacy while discussing the situation.
Kyern would notice that her hair was down, something no one had seen in a very long time. She set Life bringer back beside her cloak; before standing by the fire light to get a better look at the note. "Do you think we can track the one responsible for this?" her eyes met his, while her mind kept thinking of different possibilities of who the culprit was.

When he saw Dewdrop in the room unharmed Kyern drew a sigh of relief, but he still possessed a worried face.
Dewdrop picked up the blood stained note from his hands which he released and let her look at it. After she had read the sentence she drew Kyern into her room and shut the door.
Her hair was down which was rather surprising to Kyern who had never seen her hiar down like this. It was rather pretty as it laid loosley down.
She asked him then if they could find the culprit and Kyern shook his head.
"I'm afraid these things happen all too often in the Warriors Crater. even after the hybrid war, a group of Hybrid haters formed a secret underground society which they called "the light". The light's objective is to remove the impure hybrids from the land to make room for the pure blood races even though that war is now over. My guess is that this is just a member of that organization who wants our wings as trophies for his wall. My guess is that they have hunters located on all of the roads, inns, and forests in this area so are choices are limited".
Looking at Dewdrop he wondered how she would respond, and that if she knew what their choices were now limited too.
(sorry to end it like this but the two choices i have thought up are either fly, or take the mountain pass which leads into the realm of a necromancer which uses unlucky passbyers in his brutal expiernemtns to create the perfect demon warrior. Nobody will use this pass anymore because of him, but my thoughts were that they'd be forced too because "the light" have archers ready to shoot us down with their long bows and instead of risking this we just take the mountain pass?
Whatcha think? Also another things is do you want me to explain my idea's like this so theres no confusion in the roleplay or just tell them too you in a pm, or not tell you at all?

I love it when you explain your ideas, this makes better since then playing a guessing game ^_^, also your doing fine really! I like your rping style. If it because to much or a problem I will talk to you about it, promise! . I just hope that I can keep up ) Her hand crushed the blooded note as she walked towards the window. The hand gripping the note dropped to her side as her other hand reached out in front of her and gently touched the glass. The amulet shimmered, reflecting off the window. The aura around her began to grow. Though it was only slight and none other then Kyern would be able to sense the slight change. "This will determine if your suspicions are right; whether those from this group called "the light" are really waiting for us...though I am rather confused as to why they would want both of our wings. Perhaps the sure fact is...I am one of the last of my race, perhaps there is many who knew about my race then I had expected..." she trailed off slowly, as though talking to herself; though her words were spoken loud enough for Kyern to hear. Her head shifted towards the fire place. Kyern would notice, if he was looking at her, that her eyes were change colors to an emerald color. The hand gripping the note threw the note into the fire. With that same hand, she twisted her hand into a fist. This caused the fire to shrivel to nothing and disappear. Again, her attention was drawn to the window. Just outside the window now stood an exact replica of herself. Soon beside this replica stood one of Kyern. Both replicas began to walk out of the town on the main street. The rain had let up some outside, making observing what was to take place a whole lot better. "You should come see this..." she whispered, her head turning to Kyern as the hand that was on the window slide back down to her side. When Kyern joined her at the window he did not seem shocked to see what was happening. The two replicas were being beaten by whips and chained. Their wings were being bound by wire, to insure they would not dare attempt to leave. Also, some kind of device had been placed on both of their replica's wrists, she was not sure why. Soon they were gone with Kyern's and her replica. "They will be back once the illusion wares off...you were right." she moved from him and grabbed the hair tie that had been in her hair. She twisted her long hair into a rather large bun on the back of her head. They did not have time to care about their appearances. "Perhaps its best if we leave now...the idea of sleeping in a nice warm bed was nice, but it seems we have bigger issues to contend with other then sleeping in a soft bed." she gave a half smile, her body gave off a soft tremble. Not because she was scared, but with the sure fact that anyone could treat another in such a barbaric manor. Though in another sense; deep down she knew that they could. When she grabbed her cloak and Life bringer, she looked into Kyern's face once more. "It seems we can not take the roads or fly...do you know of another way to where we are headed?" (I hope that my post is okay ^_^. Just let me know if I ever need to change anything)

(Your post is fine Dewdrop , I like creative minds in a roleplay. It makes the roleplay more interesting and of better quality of a story, and I love creative stories. Also another thing I might wan't to mention is that i have a hard time summarizing the previous post as I have a tendency to advance the roleplay. So my posts will have short summaries of your previous posts, if thats alright?) Kyern looked as Dewdrop threw the note in the fire and created the copies of them. As the illusions walked down the road they were quickly ambushed and tied up. So it was "the light" Kyern thought as the men dragged away there illsuions leaving the road quiet once more. Dewdrop then asked him if he knew any other paths they could take, seeming how flying was out of the question. Not only was it tiring on the body to fly all day without a heat draft (forgot what those were called), but flying brought unneccesary attention and if the light were prepared they could attak us with magical arrows that could travel up high. Kyern then remembered an old path that he had been forced to take many years ago. The path in the mountain pass. "There is another path we could take to avoid the light, but there's a reason why they wouldn't dare follow us." Kyern stopped there in thought as he remebered the imprsionment of the necromancer. He remebered the brutal force of darkness as one by one his companions were dragged out and tested on in tubes of glass. Kyern and four other of his companions were able to escape when the necromancer had left for water and the thief among the group had picked the lock and let them all out. Although even then there was the six days and nights of constant hunting as they were forced to play the necromancers game. Kyern never wanted to do that again, but it seemed as if he had no choices now. "We can take the mountain pass, it seems were forced too."

I am moving us forward this time ) They had slipped out the back of the inn. The night sky helped the cloak them as they headed out of town. The mountain pass was much closer then she would had thought; only about ten miles from town. She had a small pack, strung over her right shoulder. Kyern's friend had sent them off with some food and change of clothing. HE had also given them black cloaks, to blend in with the night sky. She was grateful for such kind "people." They walked for some time with out speaking. They had not spoke since leaving town. Kyern's face showed great sore and fear. He was not telling her something that might prove to be important. However, she was not sure now was a good time to question him. The woods was silent as they began to climb the mountain pass. As time passed, noise could be heard. The higher up the pass they walked, the louder the noises were growing. At one point it had almost sounded as though some one yelled for mercy. "Kyern..." she whispered, a small chill welling up inside of her. For a moment she had felt unnerved, her hand gripping the fabric on his arm gently. " Something is not right..."

Kyern looked up and he grabbed Dewdrop wuickly and pulled her behind the nearest tree and laed there. He hear Dewdrops reply and tried to remain calm as past memories came flooding to his mind. Soon he heard a man crying out for mercy. The man wasn't far away and when Kyern risked a peek he saw that the man was only a few meters up the path they were taking. A cloaked figure was over the man and it seemed he was sucking some blue energy from the mans heart. Oh no, Kyern thought. They were playing the necromancers game. Looking over at Dewdrop he whispered "It's the necromancer" Sorry my reply wasn't that long, its becasue i have to go to bed soon. But from this point one lets try to write more descriptive and longer posts. Kinda like a story this way. Just for the plot moments like this though, when were fast forwarding its all right. ;D

I shall do my best ^_^)
Kyerns hand slipped around her waist as he pulled her behind an old maple tree. It's branch's reached for the sky as though the tree itself was trying to up root itself and leave. Her back was to the tree and Kyerns body was pressing against hers. HE almost seemed like he wanted them both to melt right into the tree.
"Kyern-" she began, but he moved a hand over her mouth. His eyes were wide and fearful. Something was not right. Then she heard the mournful cry of a man near by. At the same time she felt another chill run down her spine, something else was out there.
Gently she moved Kyern's hand from her mouth, holding it very gently in her own to comfort him some. She too, took a chance to peek out from behind the tree. There stood a hooded figure standing over a man. From what she could see; the man was missing an eye and he seemed to be covered in his own blood. She continued to watch as the hooded figure held out some kind of object and began to suck a bluish energy from the mans heart.
Her hand reached for her sword; letting go of Kyern's hand. Someone had to help that man, she thought starting to push Kyern from her. She was going to help that poor man. However, Kyern was not going to let her do this. HE told her what that figure was, a necromancer.
"What is a necromancer?" she asked, unsure what this manner of creature was. Due to her race isolating themselves, she did not know a great deal about other creatures or species. Kyern had pressed his body against hers even harder in an attempt to make her stay put.
"Kyern we must help that poor ma-" the man she wanted to help gave out one last gurgling sound and lay limp below the necromancer. She could feel Kyern's heart began to pound faster.

Kyern's heart was poundig very fast as the man's remaing soul energy was sucked by the necromancer and stored in his tool of torture and death. The man who the necromancer had killed had now officially lost the necromancers game. A game of will, smarts, and power both magically and physically. He turned tow ards dewdrop and saw her put her sword back in its sheath. Kyern looking out from behind the tree saw the necromancer examine the body for a few minutes then get up and left, proabley in pursuit of the others who were playing his game. Kyern then turned to Dewdrop and whispered "The necromancer is a shaman who lives in this mountain pass. If your careful enough you can bum through without being noticed. Sometimes the necromancer dosn't even appear for 100 years. What the necromancer is is a human who long ago had his body and mind enfused with demon power. He made a contract with a very powerful demon that in exchange for ultimate power he would research methods of dark magic and give them too the demon for use in his armies. Of course that was a long time ago when I was still a slave to the fates and the demon he had made this pact with had died. The problem was that the necromancer had been doing this dark things for so long that they were now his hobby so he alone has kept up the research and he still obtains ultimate power. Now I've met this fiend before which is why i was so hesitant to come here. Although i have passed through here succesfully five times and only once was i caught by him. And that one time was almost the end of me. You see if you can escape the necromancer then he challenges you to play his game. The game itsef is simply a game of survival. For every member of your party thats another day you have to survive. Not many have beaten him at his own game but i managed it. The man over there has unfortunatly lost at the necromancer's game and theres nothing we could have done without risking are lifes. Also i believe the necromancers ultimate power is mind control, and body control. Simply he uses his mind to control you both physically and mentally. So its no use to fight him. But as i said if we can pass through without being seen by him then we'll be safe. And it seems like he's preoccupied with his game so we might be able to manage it." (do you wan't to fight the necromancer and play his game and kill him solving the problem forever or pass through without being scratched and continue on to the fates temple? I'm fine with either way

Lets play his game...not on purpose though..lol ^_~*...you will see what I mean ) The necromancer turned and disappeared before them into a wisp of smoke and air. Her own heart jumped with the sudden vanish. Her eyes turned back towards Kyern as he finished explain the many details about the necromancer. "Hmm...I wish not to play games of life or death, but...we can not allow this creature of darkness to keep torturing so many." she looked away from him again, her thoughts questioning whether they should stay or go. Perhaps it was best for them to leave. Kyern did not seem comfortable at all. If something were to happen he would need a clear head. Dwelling on the past could be a burden; something she knew quiet well. Gently, she reached out her hands and placed them on his shoulders. Her eyes starring directly into his own. "If anything happens, know that I will be there with you and together we will get through it." with a simple nod, she turned from him once more and peered from behind the tree. The dead body lay in the darkness, only noticeable on the cold ground; from his outline. Silence filled the forest. "Kyern, we must move...I feel we have been in this spot far to long. Do you remember the way from here?" they had lost the path when Kyern had first spotted the necromancer and pulled them off the path in an attempt to hide. HE moved from behind the tree first and indicated where the path was located. As they began to move, trying to not make as much noise as possible, chills ran down her spine. Her body froze as though her own will to move her body had been taken over. It was hard to see in the pure black of the night that lingered over the forest; perhaps she had just been caught in some under brush. This thought was wrong, an icy cold hand wrapped around her waist while the other took hold of her chin. She struggled to move her own body, but nothing would come of it. Her body stood there while Kyern had slipped ahead of her. Her lips managed to move a bit, whispering "K...Kyern..." was all she could manage. Slowly she felt as though she was being drawn back wards. Would Kyern help her or even know this was happening?
