With a single wave of his hand, she had been sent back wards a few feet; almost causing her to lose her footing. Her right hand still gripped the sword tightly as her eyes narrowed at him. "Not here to teach me any lessons? I plan on killing you, you know that right? For attacking the palace and injuring so many! Why did you do that?" her voice almost shook when she said the next part. The question that had bothering her since the attack. "Did..did you attack because...of...something I..I did?" she hated herself for acting so weak, but her mother hand been injured in the battle. She just had to know if it was her fault. Even if he gave her a hard time about it.
He only looked up at her with an arched brow. Shakeing his head he let out a bored and annoyed sigh. " Woman you don't have near enough what it takes to kill me. We attacked because we needed the practice, i attacked because i wanted answers. We followed our treaty by only attacking the gates and the palace and didn't kill a single warrior. " He stood looking at her. She had become so familiar to him in the past few days but she was still a stranger to him. Why was this happening? What forces had worked their magics to conceal and set them up in such a way? And why was he still in the mood of wanting to play with her?
Her teeth clenched as she heard what he said. The whole thing was merely practice for him and the others? She shook a little from frustration and the lack of being able to even tough this guy. "Hurting many angels just for practice?! You really are a monster! Though I can not harm you now, I shall some day once my training is complete! Either way, you will pay and i will make sure of that!" once these words came from her mouth, she began to feel the presence of someone heading their way. "Damnit...patrols.." *she spoke walking past him and looking to the sky, her wings opening. She was ignoring him now, her back to him. For some reason she had not felt he was there to harm her, but merely play with her some more. This also made her very upset. Her hand still gripped the sword. Brushing a hand through her hair she glance back towards him. The nasties look she could muster on her face. "You better leave while you can...or i might not get a chance to kill you...and if i don't have answers nor shall you. So just leave!" *she turned her head back towrds the sky. He had wanted to know more about why there was a picture of them inside the amulet she wore. She wanted to now as well. She would never love someone like him, ever.
He smiled softly shakeing his head. So little did she know. He looked to the sky and felt the patroling angel approaching. Closeing his eyes his energy and any other trace of him vanished, the only person he allowed to know he was still there was her. He wasn't done with her yet, he was going to show her how much training she would actually need to beat him. And if they were intrupted during that time.....he pitied the person that tried.
She glanced back again, he was gone, but was not at the same time. He was cloaking himself, like he had done to her to allow him to get so close. However, he was allowing her to be able to feel his presence. Why was he not leaving? "Don't toy with me...demon" *she whispered, knowing he heard her. Malacite's large wings flapped once before folding behind him as he landed. He had been he patrolling angel. She tried to smile at him a bit as she walked over to him. His face held no emotion. "Who is here with you?" his voice was cold. Her eyes blinked for a moment, trying to figure away around his question. "Just me, brother...so they put you on patrol?" why did she just not tell him that the demon was there? Why was she hiding him? She had managed to put the crystal hilt away before he had landed. Her hands folded behind her. "There was someone here Dewdrop, now tell me who it was." He kept looking around, especially in one area, the are where the guy still stood, cloaked. "Brother..really it w-" his hand hit her face with so much force, she fell to the ground. Immediate tears came to her soft emerald eyes. Looking up to him, his face held still no emotion. She did not know what to say. Why had he slapped her? Did he know she was lying, perhaps she should have told the truth. "Life is not carefree. There are dangers out here that you take lightly! Why you have not been punished for such foolishness i shall never know. There was someone else here, I know this! Your still weak and yet you try to act as though you are more powerful then what you are." He turned and began to walk away, before stopping and looking at her. "Now, go back home before you do something else stupid and get yourself killed." "brother..." she stood and opened her wings. She knew the demon had seen everything, this also made her feel less then dirt. Where he had hit her, two gashes lightly trickled blood down her cheek. biting her lip she was in the air, however she did not do as her brother commanded. Instead she took off towards the south east, towards a human village that out skirted their realm. "Dewdrop!" she heard him call as she did not stop to look back. The distance was far, closer to the humans then she had ever been. This did not matter to her. The brother she had loved so much, made her feel like she was less then nothing for the way she was. She sat on a hug flat rock wish sat in the middle of some cherry blossom trees. Not even their sweet smell or beauty could make her feel better. Drawing her knees to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, she set her head on her arms. The tears did not stop, she had not cried like this before. She felt hurt and in a way as though he was blaming her for what happened. He had not known of her meeting the demon though, had he? She did not care. All she cared about was that fact her brother struck her. Something was happening to him that she did not know about. There seemed to be so many things she was clueless about. Malacite had left and not followed her. The sun was setting behind her int he west. She wrapped her wings around her self some as she wept.
He remained silent as her brother landed. He wasn't toying with her, not anymore and not right now. He kept himself well hidden for if he did show himself then most likely he would be forced to fight her brother and most likely wind up killing him if he was pushed too far. He tensed and grew angery at the sudden strike and words her brother spoke to her. He didn't care about these people but still.....why did those actions get under his skin so much, why did he feel like knocking some hell into her brother for such disrespect to her sister. It was true that the woman wasn't nearly as powerfull as most but that was due to her age and the peace. But with the right training that could change within days. When both had left he followed her path and came up behind her, although this time he let her know he was there.
" When you see him again, tell him to treat you with alittle more respect, and that if he ever hits you again, i'll rip his wings off and send him into such hells that he would beg for his life to end. Another time we will continue what i promised. " He looked to her and sighed softly as he began to open a portal back to his own home.
She felt him come, why did he have to follow her here? She looked up to him, he could clearly see that mark that was left and the tears which still trickled down her face as she shouted through the small hic-ups. "Leave me alone...please...just go away and leave me alone!" She had not waited for him to speak, but heard what he said when he did. He seemed to be acting nice, but why? Looking away from him, she buried her face into her arms once more. Her knees were still tucked in tightly to her chest. Her wings were still drawn into cocoon her in a sense. Small cheery blossom leaves were falling, landing in her hair and on her wings. Did she really cause that much trouble? She had thought she was doing much better with training. Could he be jealous of her progress? No, her brother was always one to encourage her and never, hurt her. She tried to weep a bit more quietly now that he was standing so close.
He sighed and nodded softly. With a gentle caress of his own energy he eased the stinging of the mark on her face and took the signs of it away as he then turned and steped into the portal. " I'll be training for awhile, but if you really feel like trying to take out some anger........come find me. " He dropped his dagger next to her after chanting a spell over it and then let the portal close around him.
The stinging disappeared. Her hand touched her cheek, looking back quickly. He was gone. Why had he been so nice to her? The amulet around her neck gave off a warm glow before disappearing too. She moved her hand from her cheek down to the amulet, fiddling with it a bit. Her heart was a flutter. What was happening? Before heading back home she picked up the dagger. She gripped it tightly as she headed back home. After dinner she headed right back for her room, passing Malacite in the hall. He did not look at her nor did she look at him. She still felt hurt that he would have done such a thing. The person who had said he would never let anything bad happen to her. What was happening to him? For a moment while passing she had almost thought to tell him what the man had said to her for her to tell her brother. If that were to happen she was sure she would get more then just a slap across the face. For he would then know she had been toying with her luck for a while now. Flopping down on to her bed after changing into a long silk gown. She tried to sleep, but the thoughts and questions in her head kept her awake. She walked to the window and opened it. The night air was cool against her skin. The moon was full and accompanied by a blanket of stars. Her fingers fiddled with the amulet as she watched a patrol go by. They had been out there since the palace had been attacked. They wanted to be ready and not be made fun of again. She could not stay there, she wanted to go back to the place where she had been showed bit of kindness. She was not sure why, but she just needed too. She did not change nor carry any weapon except for the dagger that had been left for her to find him. She managed to dodge the patrols and headed for that place. Landing on the cool rock, she shivered. both her hands held the dagger. She had come outside at night with nothing to protect her except for the spells and magic she had already known. Her mind was being clouded with the questions and the feelings that were knew to her. She laid back onto the rock and looked to the sky, holding the dagger up to study it.
He sighed as he took a short break. Since comeing home he had been in nonstop training sessions with the troops in his uncles army and practicing on his own. He had managed to get into one of the chambers his father had built for high level training and put it to the test. His mind full of unanswered questions and answers that lead to more questions. then there was her face the taste of her lips and the softness of her skin. She haunted his mind yet he didn't care now. He welcomed it and he couldn't understand why anyone would do this. He smiled as he felt her pressence through the dagger, wondering if she was going to take him up on the offer. If she didn't it wouldn't matter, he would see her again soon anyway.
The dagger became a bit warm in her hands. This had to been the presence of the dagger's owner. She rolled over on to her stomach. Her wings half rose behind her as she held out the dagger. "I wonder..." She whispered to herself, as she pointed the daggers tip downward, inches from the ground. She spun it clockwise and released it from her grip. The dagger did not fall, but stayed where she hand held it and spun. Resting her cheek on her left arm, she watched as it spun. Lightly blowing on it ever so often to keep its pace the same.
He smiled softly as he felt her playing with the dagger and laughed softly. He took in a deep breath and pushed himself up and resumed his training once more. Maybe after the day was over he would clean up and pay her a visit. Sneaking into a palace would be fun and a good test of his abilities. He continued his training up untill early nightfall.
Her eyes had become heavy as she played with the dagger. Sleep had not been on her mind when she left the palace that evening. Nor fear, for she had not brought any weapons. The sun was going to rise soon, but she did not know that; for she had fallen asleep. The dagger was in her hand as she slept on her side. The amulet was in her other hand. The cheery blossoms had been falling on her while she slept. Cool breeze brushed by her cheek, but she did not wake up still. For she was in a deep sleep, unaware of the world around her or of its dangers.
He walked from the training rooms and into the bath chambers. cleaning himself and dressing in fresh clothing he smiled feeling her sleeping. Best let her alone for awhile, he thought to himself as he then went and joined his family for dinner and some family time. His mind although occupied with his family still wandered around about what had been happening and kept a soft touch around her just incase something happened.
"well well..what have we here? Looks like a little angel has fallen asleep so far from home." a mans voice laughed causing her eyes to flutter open. She sat up quickly to see two demons starring at her. Her wings shot up as she stumbled off the rock and back wards a bit, her hand gripping the dagger. "So we woke you up...awww it would have been a lot more fun with you sleeping." the other demon licked his lips looking her up and down. Glancing at herself, she realized she had fallen asleep out there on that rock. Also, why were there demons there? So close to the human village the warrior angels look after? Were they spies or rogues? Her wings shot towards the sky. Eyes narrowing, glancing from one to the other. "Stay away from me..demon! Though i look unarmed I will not hesitated to attack or kill you.." she had never killed anyone before and hoped they would not call her on her bluff. "You don't look like a fighter to me....but you sure look fun" One of the demons reached for her, but she took flight. Some cold wrapped around her right ankle, glancing down one of them held a chain weapon with curved blade at one end and a metal ball around the other, which was done to her leg. She reached for it just as she felt her body being pulled back towards the ground. She could not react before hitting the luckily soft ground. "We are not done yet..." They started walking towards her. When she fell the chain had wrapped around both her legs, making it impossible to stand. Her eyes glared at them, the wind around them began to pick up with tremendous speed. Both were blown back wards into cheery trees. The force had caused one of them to be knocked out, however the other slowly stood and started to advance towards her again. "Your so foolish dewdrop..." She thought to herself, working on getting the chain off her legs. How could she had been so foolish as the leave her weapon behind. Though magic was also an essential part of the angel warriors, she still had a long way to go.
