Amongst a field of wild flowers there sat a young woman, but not an ordinary woman. Her snow white wings stretched for the sky then folded once more behind her. The gold that outlined these wings shimmered against the morning sun. She brought a flower to her nose, taking in the sweet smell."Dewdrop! there you are I have been looking everywhere for you...we were supposed to be training remember little sister?" Malachite, her older brother sat down beside her. He began pulling up some of the flowers and tossed them to the side.Dewdrop made a scornful face at what her brother was doing, "Malachite stop doing that." Her hand struck his gently, but enough to show she was serious."They are just flowers...your picking them too." her brother stood, he had long dirty blonde hair as she did. It was tied back in a ponytail. His wings were huge, much bigger then hers, and did not have a golden outline along the wings. He held out a hand to her.She looked away from his hand and sighed, "what if I wish not to fight? Can't I choose what I want to do?" she glanced sideways at him, pulling her hair over her left shoulder. Her free hand lightly gripped the amulet around her neck."This is what we were born to do, little sis...there is nothing else that we can do. We must train and become like out parents." He noticed the look of sadness in her eyes, "Dewdrop...you can't be soft remember this...no one will be soft on you if they attack this plain. Your strong and will be stronger after training...we must do this just please trust me?" he held out his hand once more towards her. She looked up into his face and nodded, taking his hand and following him back towards their home, which also consisted of training grounds of to the left. A glorious palace, with walls up to protect the small population of villagers that lived there as well. A magical shield was also in place by the high warrior angels to ensure absolute safety. Her hand still gripped the amulet around her neck, she smiled glancing at it now and then."I wish I knew who gave this to me...or who was asked to give it to me..." She thought glancing at her brother, who never seemed to like her fancying an object that she did not know where it came from or who gave it to her. In a way it was almost like he knew and hated the person for it...A few days had past since her last training. Standing within the lake bed, her eyes were closed, hands folded in what looked like she was praying. The sun was bright over head falling upon her. For what seemed to be half an hour she stood there, meditating. Suddenly her arms shot out at her sides, creating a semi-circle in the air around her. She bent down so the tips of her fingers could touch the water and pulled them out again, creating the circles. This time water started to flow where her hands moved, creating a half circle of water around herself, expanding it and lessening it at will. Her wings were out of the water and stretched towards the sky as she practiced, so they would not get wet. Though there was water encircling her, the only part that was wet was her lower half which stood in the water.A sudden noise near by caused her concentration to be lost. The water fell on her as she glanced towards the spot where noise had been made. Could someone be watching her? She slowly began to emerge from the water, her hand reaching to her side where a crystal clear hilt stoke out, but in contained no blade.

He smiled softly as he watched her move. Her training was comeing along well and he wished he could join her. But it wasn't allowed for him to train with anyone outside the family much less be here watching promising elites training. His foot slipped from leaning too far forward disturping her concentration and his reaction made more noise as he hid himself again. Cursing himself for being careless he hoped that he could get out of here without her finding him...for more reasons that one.
He closed his eyes and began to speak a soft chant that would allow him to vanish from sight and this plane without being seen or felt if he was lucky. He made a slight error though and left a dagger stuck in the branch where he was hideing when he finished the chant and vanished. That would be all anyone needed to find the person it belonged to should they feel the need for it.

Kicking through the brush, there seemed to be nothing there; except for a very upset squirrel who jumped into the tree next to her and made its compliant known. Letting go of the hilt she turned to head back towards the lake when something caught her eye. A small handle was sticking out of the tree in which the squirrel had disappeared. walking closer, her hand reached out and withdrew a small dagger. On the blade were inscriptions and symbols she had seen, but could not read nor place them. Glancing around once more, a thought ran through her mind. Had someone been watching her on purpose? Could the elder be sending other warrior angels to spy on her or to judge her abilities? A small amount of panic was pushed aside when she felt the small hint of power that was emanating from the dagger. This power was not like any she was familiar with. She stored it away in a pocket on the tunic she wore. Reaching the palace. She took flight, soring over the barrier that was up to protect the palace and city, towards the palace itself. Pulling forth the hilt with no blade she tapped three times on the barrier. The hilt began to glow lightly, a small hole opening for her and closing right after she had entered. Heading through the front doors she was headed towards the north wing, her parents chambers. She would eliminate those she had suspected to make her decision on how to find the owner of this dagger. The necklace around her neck giving off a semi-soft glow

Haveing returned home he sighed softly and smiled. Walking into his own personal training ground he reached for his dagger and stoped dead in his tracks......his dagger wasn't with him! He looked down and then frowned punching the wall to his training room realizing what had happened. ' Fool...you left if behind! It wouldn't take long to trace it if they wanted. Just hope she didn't find it. ' His thoughts raced as he checked afew other things and then rechanted his spell, takeing him back to the place he had been. Once there he searched his hideing spot for the blade and cursed seeing that it was gone. Well if they came after him they would have a fight on there hands. His only worry was the possible cause of war between there realms. He had to stop that if it happened so he again spoke his chant and returned home. There he began to search his daggers energies hopeing to go to it and retreive it.

How was she going to go about asking who the dagger belonged too. Pacing up and down the hall to her parents chamber, when a door opened. Her mother Ivory, stepped out in the the hall. She quickly placed the dagger back in to her tunic pocket and turned to greet her mother. "Dewdrop, does something bother you?" Though she was a warrior, her complexion was very soft. Her long whitish blonde hair was kept up neatly. She had on her ceremonial robes, which held their castles symbol. Her own white wings folded neatly behind her back, they too held a golden lining upon the wings as did Dewdrops. "n-nothing really..." her finger tips fiddled with the dagger a bit. "Mother, do you think...there are elders watching my training? Would they do that if I was doing well with my training or not?" her face remained call as she asked her mother these questions. Her mother was no fool, therefore, she had to do the best she could to hide her emotions. "My dear Dewdrop, all the elders are pleased with how your progressing, in fact you are doing much better then your own brother," she smiled softly. "He is doing well, but you seem to be reaching his level of experience at a much faster rate...you are being watched, but not constantly. Now I must be off...your father , I and the warriors are meeting with the elders" *she placed a hand on dewdrops face and smiled. "keeping doing well with your training and soon you shall see the elders once more..." she turned before dewdrop could ask "meet them again?" and was walking down the hall away from her. She was doing better then her brother. How could this be, he had always been the better one when it came to using the elements. Giving a soft sigh, she forgot about the dagger for a moment and began walking towards her sleeping chambers. "Ouch!" she peeped feeling the sudden heat from the dagger touch the side of her hip, it had burned a hole in her tunic. Moving her hand swiftly, she reached for the dagger using a ball of water she created in her hand, to pick the now hot dagger up. The symbols on the blade were glowing brightly. A soft glow also formed around her neck. "My amulet is warm too" she whispered letting her other hand reach up and touch the necklace. The idea came to her rather quickly as she raced towards her room. She was going to use a type of tracing spell to perhaps track down who belong to this dagger. She changed into a toga looking outfit. It draped down past her feet, flowing lightly on the ground. She tied the hilt with no blade to her waist with a golden chain. There would be to many questions if she told anyone that she was leaving. Leaving the palace and reaching the top of the barrier, she performed the same tapping with he hilt that was needed to get in, to get out.

He smiled faintly as the energy of his blade suddenly surfaced. The odd thing about it though was that the blade appeared to be moveing. He kept his search open and expanded on it. He locked in on its position and frowned seeing that holy energy was carrying it as well. That wasn't good at all. From what his memory served the direction he felt the blade was near the main palace, but oddly the blade was moveing away from the palace. He had to find out who had it and get it back quickly.
Opening his eyes he took to the shadows and with ease began to close the distance between himself and the dagger's energy. He kept wondering though who had found it...was it some gaurd on patrol....or was it the one he had been watching? If it was a gaurd his parents would have contacted him already and this place would be littered with patrols of gaurds and warriors. If it was the young woman that found it...she might be searching for the daggers owner. He hoped for that option at least, not wanting to give away that he was watching her but if it came to those questions he could easily think his way out of that.
He stopped after afew minuets of shadow walking and looked to the sky and then to the land. It was close, better hide and wait for it to come to him now. He began to mask his energy and signature so that it would be harder to be found by any other person save for his own people and very highly trained warriors.

Pulling the dagger from her pocket, the energy started to vanish. Her wings flapped once, to help her slow to a stop and keep her height. Her head looked around, moving from one location to the next. Far off in the distance it looked to be a palace sticking out below the clouds. Diving down a bit, she was just over the tree tops, nearer then she thought to the daggers owner. A small frown came to her lips, when the palace she had thought she spotted had seemed to vanish. She had gone much farther then she was entirely allowed. This was only do to her young age and inability to perform all the abilities needed to be a warrior angel. In other words, she was very vulnerable being so far from home. Still gripping the dagger, she descended towards the ground. Wings let forth another gush of air, her sandals lightly touching the ground. The sun reflected over her body as her wings folded behind her. The hand not holding the dagger brushed some of her hair from her face. Looking around, there seemed to be no presents of anyone other then herself. Holding out her hand, the dagger slowly floated in front of her. Sliding her hands along side of it she closed her eyes. A small ball of light formed around the dagger. Her wings stretched out behind her as she focused on the dagger. It started to spin faster and faster, picking up speed as it went. Suddenly it came to a halt, facing the same direction she had thought to have seen a palace. Before she could think farther on the subject, it started to spin again. This caused her eye brows to narrow, unsure why it had started to spin once more. This time it slowed before showing its destination. Stopping to point at some trees along side her. Her face turned that way as the dagger seemed to start emanating black smoke. Once again the dagger became hot. She looked at it reaching for it, but just as her fingers touched it her skin felt hot which caused her to lose focus on it dropping to the ground.

He watched her land and clenched his teeth. He waited watching everything she done. The dagger pointed to the shadowed remains of his home and then point his direction. Perfect if it could feel him out through her spells he could retreive it. Reaching out as she dropped the blade he used his own force to link to the glowing blade and pulled it into the air, and then against best judment let it pull slowly twards him.
He didn't know why he wanted to play so dangerously with this other being. When he knew they both were out of line by being this far from their homes and breaking nearly all rules they were bound to follow. He shrugged those thoughts away still so tied up with wanting to play with this rather intriuging woman. He put up a small cloth mask and hood so that his features were hidden and pulled the daker just alittle faster now.

Crouching down, her hand reached for the dagger once more. She pulled her hand back quickly once more, but this time for an entirely different reason. The dagger began to float slowly towards its last destination point, before falling tot he ground. She stood again and watched with suspicious eyes. Stepping forward, a hand reached for the crystal clear hilt at her hip. To anyone who did not know better, she did seem rather harmless. The amulet around her neck gave off another faint warmth as though it was reacting again to some kind of force. Just as it had once done with the dagger. Her feet stopped as the dagger picked up speed and vanished among the trees. Her wings stretched out, bracing for something, but she was not even sure of what that was. Eyes darting from side to side, focusing trying to find out what was happening. Her face turned towards the right, a small glimpse of someone other then herself. Masking their powers so she would not feel them. "Who goes there?! Are you the one who had been watching me before?! Come out before I feel the need to find you myself" *her voice was a bit shaky, but hopefully this person would not notice. Though still relatively new to her training, there was no doubt she could still hold her own, if needed.

He smiled to himself once the dagger returned to his hand. That was easy enough for some reason. Hearing her words he chuckled and shrugged. He stepped into sight and came out and stoped a good double arms length from her. His features where hidden by his mask and he sheathed the dagger. " thanks for finding this for me. Knew i forgot it somewhere. " He folded his arms and looked her over slowly. He didn't bother with answering any of her questions. " Well well, such a fine warrior you seem to be. I wonder if your any good? " His tone was curious, mocking and alittle dark by way of his words. His eyes mimiced the same tone as he looked her over.

Watching the figure step into the light, a small gasped escaped her. He was a demon, someone she had always been told to never trust nor take lightly. Her hand let go of the hilt to the crystal sword. Wings slowly folding behind herself. "Demon..." was all she said, eyes narrowed trying to focus on this energy, his powers, to feel out the opponent she was sure to have to fight soon. A light breeze had picked up around them. Trees began to sway behind this man, this demon. The feathers within her wings ruffled a bit as well as her hair. Never would she take her eyes off of this man, knowing what she thought she knew about there kind. "Do no talk to me in such a tone....and you should be weary of answering my question...why were you near the place I was training?"

He laughed softly and shrugged. He wasn't going to answer her questions so quickly. He felt that she was prepareing to defend herself should she need to. Then his eyes caught sight of that amulet around her neck. The symbols, the craftsmanship.....it couldn't be...that was one of his creations. But from when and how? He smiled through the mask and moved with ease and grace. His motions caught her unaware and unable to counter as he stoped only centimeters away from her. The mask fell from his face and he kissed her deeply before vanishing and returning to his place he had once stood infront of her, the two arm lengths now returned between them and the mask back over his face. " Mmmmm....so sweet. I think i'll let you be for now. "

This all seemed to be a game to this man, this demon. Her eyes were narrowed watching him, trying to study him. Why was he hiding his face in the first place? "Do not take m-" before she could finishes he was centimeters in front of her. Within another second his lips were pressing hard against hers. Cheeks began to flush, this was her first kiss, but by a demon! "how...w-what....y...you....I.." she could not talk, the words just came out in bits and pieces. Her hand quickly reached down to the the crystal hilt and withdrew it from he chain belt around her waist. Holding it out towards the left of her, the hilt started to glow. From the point where a blade should have started. A white light began to form, ending when the light blade had become about 2'. When it was formed the blade also seemed to be pulsing to life. "You insult me...demon...and if you shall not answer my questions...I shall be forced to get them one way or another...." as she spoke her cheeks were still lightly pink. She could not shake the thought of him kissing her. Why had he done it in the first place? Was this something all demons did to try and distract their opponent? There was still much for her to learn. These things would be answered soon enough, once she dealt with him. Wings reached for the sky, readying her self for the first strike. Just as she was about to attack, something else caught her senses. Someone else was heading their way. Gripping the hilt, she glanced to the sky. "Malacite..." *she whispered gritting her teeth. Why did he have to show up now? Without any regards to what this demon had in mind, she dismissed the blade and placed the hilt back at her side. She walked towards the man and then right passed him whispering "I shall finish with you another time..." in the back of her mind she knew Malacite would rip him apart if he found out he was here. She wanted the satisfaction of dealing with him herself. Flapping the glorious wings once, she was in the air heading towards her brother. He glanced at her, eyes looking rather suspicious. "Why are you so far from the home? You know your not allowed....there are creatures out here that even you do not have the skills to take on yet...." He trailed off looking towards the ground, as though he had seen something. She cut in, "I was training...s-somewhere where I would not be disturbed...besides I had a holy shield up..." *she was trying to think up excuses, but why? She could easily tell her brother about the demon she had encountered and he would be dead, but something told her she shouldn't. "I see, we must go back now..." *he slowly turned to face her. "Before the elders find out you have wandered this far. Your lucky I am around after all" he grabbed her arm and started back towards their home. Glancing back, she smirked to herself. He free hand reached into the pocket of the toga she wore and with drew the dagger, just enough so she could look at it. While passing him, she had worked some of her magic, a transfer type of spell, and managed to take it from its rightful owner. This would be how she would track him down again. Her brothers words did not seem to sink in.

He laughed softly watching her. He gave a shrug and simply watched her. He knew he had more strength and skill than this warrior but wanted to have some fun anyway. When her newly formed sword was soon put away because of outside interferance he growled lightly. As she passed him he felt the dagger removed by a spell and smiled as he listened to her words. He could have taken the dagger back, but at least with her haveing it, she could find him and he could find her. When she took to the air he shifted into mist and then transported himself back to his own home through the same chants he had used to come here in the first place. He couldn't wait to continue this little game with her....and that was beginning to make him curious.

"Young one..you are now to show us to elemtents that you work well with." An elder spoke to her. She stood in the middle of a circlular room. The ceeiling was of glass, reflecting in the sunlight. The room was big with marble floors that held a large circle int he middle on which she stood. Under her feet was the symbol of her people. What looked to be a tear drop with magnificent wings lifting from it. "yes elder" *she spoke, her wings stretched out to the sides as she closed her eyes. Her Father, mother, and brother were there with a few others. This was one step she needed to take to become a high angel warrior. Her lips began to move in a chant, as her left hand was held out infront of her. A small light began to form, but soon changed into what seemed to be liquid. Kneeling, she placed the hand with the liquid ont he ground. A tunnel or cone of Water surrounded her, hwer wings were stretched towards the sky. The water swirled higher and higher around her. "Dismiss" she spoke, wings stretching to the side again, as this happened the water disappeared. There were low meremers and hushed approval. "Very good young one...now for the second" The elder spoke, with a soft smile. It had seemed she had won approval already. Without speaking, she cupped her hands together, her wings this time seemed to encircle her a bit. Her hair lifted slightly, a breeze was forming. Suddenly tha air burst forth, ripping aroudn the room, almost out of control. There were gasps, but that was all before she stuck out her hands and caught the air. circling it into a ball and releasing it. A soft warm air filled the room. Applause filled the room and she opened her eyes and looked around, wiping her brow witht he back of her hand "Very good very good, we knew you could do it! There is still much for you to learn, but we have faith that you will make a fine high warrior angel someday" The elder spoke looking to her mother and father nodding approval.
Later that day, she sat on the belcony rail to her room looking out at the sky. Rain was sure to come soon, by the soft fresh smell lingering in the air. Her hand gripped the dagger. She was surprised she managed to pass the test with her mind trailing else where. Without thinking her free hand began to fiddle with the amulet, which had kept its soft warmth from when it had done so while she was with the demon.
