The headmaster sent her ice away before it hit him. He told her that they were finished, and said that he saw more in her than she knew she had, and Siren looked back stunned but relieved. She hoped he wasn't taking favourites, because he didn't seem to send her away as harshly as he had Dewdrop. She walked back over to the other two and looked at Pyros for a moment. She could see the concern in his eyes, but it was his turn to test his skills with the headmaster. Siren sat down once more, resting her head in her arms as she placed them over her knees. She was tired, drained from the day's events, but she didn't want to close her eyes incase she missed Pyros' test. She liked to watch him practice his skills, loved to see the thrill on his face as he did something he loved.

Dewdrop told him not to worry too much about her, that once she was finish Dewdrop would help her regain her energy. "Im not worried about that, there are other things to worry about in a battle." Pyros replied keeping his eyes ahead on the headmaster who smiled and destroyed Siren's attack easily. He turned to Pyros and signaled for him to come and attack him, Pyros watched as Siren moved past him and away. He looked ahead at the headmaster and moved closer but kept a sufficient gap between them.
Pyros looked him in the eyes, he attempted to read everything he could from his eyes, predict his movements and read his attitude toward the battle. Pyros glanced down at his body every now and then, examining his movements and stance was important but he had to keep his gaze into his eyes or he would lose the focus and effect he was trying to achieve. His stance was defensive and that was exactly what Pyros had expected from him, a smile forming on his face as he had read the previous two battles successfully.
'He is a defensive fighter, he never seems to attack first and always waits to defend and counter attack. Even if he is a mage the principles to his techniques are all the same.' Pyros thought, finally having enough information to think through a simulated technique to fight with. He was worried though, even when you knew the way to beat someone in your head, the battle didn't always turn out that way. Pyros stood his ground, he hadn't formed a stance, he was merely standing there as if he wasn't fighting, his hands by his side as if they weren't prepared for battle.

He smiled watching Pyros study him. A warrior that held only enough magic to use in emergancy and that was through something else. But from what he could sense on this level a greater spirit lay deeper within. He removed the tunic he wore so that his arms where now bare and a vest remained to cover the rest of his upper body. " Incar Double blade. " He spoke as he held out his hand and from thin are a sword that was two, joined at the pommel much like a staff appeared. He spun this exotic weapon once and let it rest at his back. He changed his stance in an instant and twisted his body in a throw manuver as the double blade came around and was launched at him much like a boomerang. " Control Incar " He held his hand as it was as the blade moved at Pyros, lets see how well this one was.

The headmaster had dismissed Siren, but as harshly as he had dismissed her. This did not matter to her. She was used to this type of thing. Slowly she walked over to Siren and knelt beside her. "If I may...I wish to help you regain your strength..." Her eyes were soft and kind. Not like that of a Warrior by any means. However, this was just the way she was. Though raised to be a fighter, she was still gentle. "You did very well...he seems to be a tough opponet..." she looked away from Siren, glancing up towards pyros. The headmaster had not wasted anytime attacking pyros.

Siren looked up as Dewdrop knelt down beside her. She offered to help her regain her strength and told her that she had done a good job against the headmaster. "Thank you, you may." she replied, smiling at Dewdrop. She seemed to be a very kind person to Siren. It didn't surprise her in the least that she could be so nice, even trained as a warrior. Pyros too was kind, and she herself hated to see people hurt or killed. She turned her eyes back to Pyros, who was preparing to fight the headmaster. He looked as if he had figured out his opponent already, though he didn't look very sure about himself.

Pyros watched as a smile formed on the headmasters face, another predictable event as he had figured out that his arrogance played a role in his fighting. The headmaster removed his tunic and revealed more of his body, it was obvious that this gave him more freedom of movement and that would help him with a more physical fight. Suddenly he mumbled something and a staff with swords on both ends appeared in his hands, the headmaster began to spin it and then stopped it as it rested against his back. 'Showing off i guess, though it is beginning to worry me. I don't have a weapon and im not sure how long im going to hold out with my bare hands.' Pyros thought to himself, wondering if perhaps he would be able to disarm his opponent.
The headmaster quickly got into a stance and twisted his body, throwing the spear like object toward him, this was surprising to Pyros, long range physical attacks weren't something he was expecting from the headmaster. The blades were spinning rapidly and came toward him, it would have made what he was going to do alot easier if they weren't spinning at that speed, but it was one of the best things he could think of doing, especially since it seemed that the headmaster was controlling it with his magic. Pyros moved forward toward the blades and as they got closer he jumped up over them, flipping his body over and bringing his arms down and striking the faces of the blades so not to harm himself, the force of his attack would have thrown the sword down to the floor. Pyros landed on his feet in close proximity to the headmaster, he quickly lowered himself into a stance and threw a double punch toward the headmaster's stomach.

He smiled and then frowned in surprise at the sudden movement of his opponent. He had expected a weapon to be used in defense but shruged that off and watched with delight the skill in wich Pyros avoided and struck the blades. With his magic holding the blades control he was able to bring it back to him just as the young warrior set a double punch forward. Twisting his body slightly he managed to barely avoid the attack and smiled as he spun completely around and launched a kick that would send pyros backwards should it make contact. If not it would allow him time to regroup himself.
" Incar demon kitana " His other hand opened and from thin air a lightweight yet wicked looking kitana sword formed. This blade he tossed to pyros with afew words of advice. " Use your battle spirit, call the words Release inner power to tap into it for this next round so i can judge just how good you really are. " He regained his stance and with the double blade held out he began to spin the blade, giveing Pyros just enough time to grab the kitana and speak the words before he threw his weapon at him a second time, this time charged with a noticable energy aura.

Pyros watched as the headmaster twisted his body out of the way of the strikes, his speed was incredible and Pyros had no expected him to be so quick. He pulled his arms back and noticed the kick coming for him, he pulled his arms up in a defense, while protecting himself from the power of the strike he was still pushed back some distance. He quickly got into a defensive stance to keep from being thrown off balance from a follow up attack, but instead the headmaster began to chant something. Pyros feared that he was about to use magic and prepared for the worst, brining his arms up to defend any elemental attack that might come for him.
A katana sword manifested itself from thin air and the headmaster passed it to Pyros who grabbed it out of the air and held it in front of him horizontally, looking at it and wondered why he had given it to him, Pyros wasn't one to use weapons unless he was outnumbered or in great danger of losing his life. Weapons seemed to bring out the brutality in Pyros and he sometimes developed a blood lust when he used them, that was why Pyros stayed away from them when he could. The headmaster told him to tap into its real power by using his battle spirit, he said he wanted to judge how good Pyros really was. He looked up at the headmaster and then back at the sword, 'its true power?' Pyros wondered, he was probably talking about some magical property that was contained within the sword, something that linked to his battle spirit and will. This scared the hell out of Pyros, the last thing he wanted was a sword that would use his will in battle to gain more power, he knew that his battle spirit was an overwhelming force and with the brutality of a weapon added he would probably cause alot of damage both to himself and the headmaster.
Pyros watched as the weapon came toward Pyros again, flying in the same pattern but now it had a magical aura around it, this was probably going to be something to test the way his warriors spirit combined with this weapon to defend the attack, Pyros didn't really want to use the katana but perhaps just this one time it would be alright. He watched closely as the double blades got closer and when it was close enough he brought the katana forward and knocked the swords away toward the side, he then threw the katana toward the double blades, hopefully getting them out of the way for a while, he rushed forward toward the headmaster again. Pyros stopped close to him and threw a punch to his chest followed by a knee strike to the left rib. Pyros wondered how the headmaster would react to Pyros ditching the weapon after using it only once.

He sighed and pulling on the blades and the kitana with his energy, they both vanished. This boy wasn't one to listen very well at all. So he would do this the hard way. He watched carefully the movements Pyros made. He could see a weaon to Pyros was something he hated to use very much. When the strikes came he stoped each easily and held them in his hands. His grip tightened and energy of a raw nature began to push and pull at Pyros all at once. When the Headmaster let go he smiled shakeing his head.
" Good. Strong but rather hardheaded. Gaugeing is over now its time to find out alittle bit more about you. Pyros, you don't use weaponry often, but rely on your own strength and skill correct? "

The headmaster stopped his arm and held it, he caught the knee strike aswell and held them both where they were. The headmaster tightened his grip on his hand and knee and a magical force was creating a strange pain on his limbs as if they were being pulled apart, yet they were still very much intact. Pyros yelled for a second and then the headmaster released him and smiled with a shake of his head. Pyros dropped backward and stood up again, allowing his body to repair itself from the attacks, within a few seconds Pyros was alright again, thanks to his conditioning it didn't take long to recover from attacks of a physical nature.
He commented on Pyros being good and strong, but hardheaded, he said it was time to find out more about him now, he asked Pyros with knowledge if he relied on his skill and ability and didn't like to use weapons. Pyros nodded, "Thats correct, unless I intend of someone dying, I don't like to use weaponry." Pyros replied, wondering what he meant by it was time to find out more about him.

Siren's eyes widened as Pyros was caught by the headmaster and held for a moment. She heard him yell out, and her ears shifted backwards as she heard the pain in his voice. He was freed almost instantly after that, and after a few moments looked okay again. She sighed, though her ears did not change back to their original position. The headmaster began to ask him questions, and he replied without hesitation. She listened to his answer, and felt her own heart lurch at his explanation. She felt bad about the uncontrolled state of her own magic. She never intended for people to die, but if she was angered, it usually happened on its own. She wrapped her arms about herself as if cold, and continued to watch him.

He gave a nod and turned to Siren. " Your magic is strong but you have the same problem as your friend, when you get overwhelmed you loose control. Him i gather its when he uses weapons. This you will overcome but Siren, you and Dewdrop will train together. Both are even on your abilities to some levels. But tell me about what brings about the loss of control. " He walked back to the center and the room changed back into a more comfortable setting allowing them all to sit. " In turn, each of you needs to tell me something about your background, abilities and goal for this hunt of yours. My grandson i know what his is already. " He gave each a smile and motioned them to relax as cool water was brought in for each.

The headmaster turned next to her, and she looked up at him as he asked her about the way she lost control. "It is a loss of control of my emotions. When I am angry, though never wrongly so, the power of my magic increases and forces its way out. I have difficulty suppressing it when I am upset." she replied, "Most often it is when someone i love is threatened. I get really upset when an enemy uses a loved one against me, and if I don't work really hard to keep the power under control, I know that I will kill both my opponent and my ally." she added, " If I am upset enough, the power I release is enough to kill everyone within a certain distance, as well as severely injure myself. I might even have the power to kill myself when I am in that state." As she spoke, the room changed, and as she was bidden, she sat down, recieving the water graciously.

She had not received a chance to heal Siren like she intended. The battle between the headmaster and pyros was distracting and rather interesting to watch. She stood back up slowly, her wings stretched and then folded back behind her again, arms crossed in front of her. Pyros was a skilled warrior and at the same time he was a bit stubborn. He had been given a katana by the headmaster and then threw it back towards him and used his skills, as a warrior, instead. When the weapon had touched his hand, his eyes said much of what he felt. It had seemed that Pyros preferred to not use a weapon.
Finally, once the headmaster had caught both of Pyros attacks, the battle had ended. The headmaster wanted each of them to give a reason for seeking what they were. He also informed them that her and Siren would partner up when training. She gave a gentle nod and glanced at Siren, who began telling her reason for coming along on this journey. When her emotion got the better of her, she could not pick allies from enemies, but this only happened when someone she loved was in danger. Pyro had also stated that he cared not to use weapons due to a blood lust that found its way to him when holding such objects. Her turn would come, to explain her reasons for being her. How would she respond? She could not remember much of her past, though the only elder who had not been killed during to destruction of Holylight; told her bits a pieces there was still much she did not know. She stood there in silence listening to what everyone was saying, before drifting off in thought. Her hand touched the amulet around her neck as her mind drifted off.

chaos listened at the door of the room. Both he and Vergo had returned from the "toy shop" and had the weapons sorted out. Where Vergo was at the moment he did not know but that didn't matter. What was intriguing was hearing Sirens words of her overwhelming power, only satisfied his growing suspisions. Using the ability of shadow control (a denomic ability to control weaker minds or too communinicate to others minds without speaking words.)
"Siren, do not be afraid this is chaos. I am using Shaodw control to talk to you and let me tell you your power is not a curse but a gift. You may not understand it now but their are many powers that can inhabit the mortal soul. Both good powers .......and dark. I do not know what this "master" will try too have you do but the power you have is a dark power that can be very powerful. Do not let him try to make you control your feelings for this limits your power. The more wild your feelings are the more stronger your power. You may think that this power is evil but with the right training........ from the right person you can mold this power to kill enimies and protect allies. Don't conseel this power that the gods have granted you inside you were it will diminish. The master fears power, and he will either try to tell you too control your feelings and limit this power or do what i am offering to do and i think we both know what he'll try to do. In the end the choice is yours, let your gift go unused and tarnished or let a true master show you the way. Reflect on these words and dont tell anybody else that we had this discussion."
And with that he ended his mind conversation with Siren. The silly twit thinking she has a curse and is dangerous. Of course the master will feed her this story of how this power is dangerous and that she has to control it. But Siren's power was very rare and unknown and unknown things are always scary and have to be put to an end.
He remembered the last human who had this power turned out to be a hero of the century. She started out as a scared child who instead of anger (in siren chase) used the emotion fear too activate her power and when raideres atttacked her village the power erupted from her and destroyed the village, all of the villagers and the raiders. Thats when i took her under my wing before human mages would come and diminsh her power. Or even before the darklight demons came and whispered their false lies about the curse she had to deal with. It seemed that chaos was the only demon in history that actually found this power to be worth chasing. With the right training the power would become very strong. So i started training her how to use it and before long She had gained so much control over it she could activate huge amounts of the power and destroy all of her enimies while healing her allies and the land, stopping arrows, putting out fires, shattering shields, and so on all at the same time. She became so powerful that she could bring back animals from the dead but never humans. She became so powerful that she had even been able to attack her master as he was destroyed by the meteor.
But that is past chaos thought to himself. She did not destroy all of me, as my essence still lingers on for that was how powerful i was and still am. No other being in history as been able to preserve their soul like i have with its prevous power. And Siren couldn't do that to me as long as i inhabit her friends body.
So the point was that in the end the choice was Sirens, let her power develop to its true potential making her a very strong ally, with the power to destroy mountains or let the power be tossed and leave her magical talent in the dirt to be stepped on by those that fear the power she could obtain.
