While the others had slept or meditated or whatever they chose to do during their time of rest he had went searching the different plains of mental ability for his uncle. Haveing found him he spoke and questioned about the recent knowledge gained and made it clear he and another would soon visit his armory. When morning came he awaited the group outside the guest chambers knowing that morning meal was soon ready and the smells had drifted through the caslte already.

Siren replied that her night had been restful and then asked how his had been, he looked over at her. "It was alright, i guess it did help regain my energy" Pyros replied. Siren got off the bed and moved over to a table where food was and ate some of it, Pyros looked over at the food, he didn't feel like eating, honestly he didn't feel like doing anything, just felt as if his life was already over, like this creature would be the end. "Do you think this creature is as powerful as everyone says?" he asked her as he turned his head down to the table and clenched his fist on the table. "Do you think we might actually die to this creature?" he asked her with a look of worry, but he decided he didn't really want to start this discussion. "Sorry, I know this isn't the topic you wanna talk about right now" he replied as he stood up and moved toward the door, opening it and looking back at her. "Im going to take a little walk, clear my mind and all" he told her as he left the room and walked out to where he could see Vergo, he moved toward him. "Hey, have a good night?" Pyros asked him.

Siren looked at Pyros as his face seemed to fall again. He really wasn't taking the news very well at all, and his questions caught her off guard. Before she could answer, though, he said he knew she didn't want to talk about it and got up announcing that he needed to clear his mind on a walk. She stared after him, dumbfounded. I would have discussed it with him. she thought, remembering the worry that had been in his eyes. She was clothed, and so she turned after him, leaving the room and looking around to see him talking with Vergo. She walked after him, her tail streaming behind her like a banner. When she caught up to him, she placed her fingers against his palm, concerned with his behavior. She turned her head to look straight at Vergo, her eyes searching his face.

she heard voices down the hall from where she was. It was not her place to be nosie and it sounded as though vergo, the king and queens son, was in conversation with a few of the travelers he was helping. Walking out into the hall where Vergo, Pyro, and Siren stood, she glanced at them as she turned and began walking the other way. A sigh crept from her as she kept walking down then hall, looking around, keeping her mind open to the threat that lingered. One of her hands reached up to the amulet around her neck. Everytime there was a worry in her mind, it was almost a mindless thing to fiddle with the amulet, but why? she did not know or could not remember. She stepped out into the sunlight of the courtyard, glancing around. Everyone was safe within the walls of the castle, for now, it seemed. Walking along the path, her eyes glanced at the area around her. Soemthing she had not taken in since first being here. Studying every part just incase a time came when she would need to know ever inch of this place to insure absolute safety for all,if she could.

He smiled only softly as he spoke to Pyros. Seeing Siren approaching as well he could plainly read her face that she was worried about Pyros. He gave a gentle nod when she came close and spoke. " I slept well enough. If your ready i'll take you to the academy now if you wish. But i'll warn you....the headmaster there can be alittle......hard to deal with. " He looked up to see their newest member..Dewdrop walking the yard to memorize the area. Something all warriors in Darklight do.

Siren came out after him and placed her fingers into his palm, he looked over to her eyes for a moment before they turned away toward Vergo, he looked over at Vergo as he noticed him beginning to speak. He said he had slept well and that he would take them to the academy now, but warned them that the headmaster was a little hard to deal with. Pyros smiled, "Im sure I can handle him, I tend to withstand most personalities without a problem, nobody seems to get to me unless they directly insult someone I care about" Pyros replied, his eyes gazing to Siren for a moment as she was the only person that really mattered to him, but he didn't really think he wanted to mention her in his reply.
He noticed Dewdrop walking around nearby, he examined her as closely as he could, she wasn't as social as most of the people in Darklight and so it became harder to get to know her, but he was sure that with time he would find out more about why she hid herself so much and what exactly made her so special.

Kyern sat aganest the wall SLOWLY waiting for the group to hurry it up just a tinsy bit. But then again Kyern was always the most impatient Immortal ever which was rather odd cause who'd think he had all of the time in the world. But two pressing things were on his mind and those were the danger Siren and Pyro's were in. Mortal blood walking around Darklight like a buffet (spelt right I hope). The second pressing thing was the treasure of chaos itself and the many enchanted items of the ancient world hidden in mass piles of riches. The blood vile which was mentioned earlier was one of the most fateful items in that hord. If the demon got its hands on the endless vile of blood then who knew what damage it could cause. If the others would only hurry, hurry up just a bit faster then this feud could be ended very quickly.... hopefully. But the more Kyern thought about the enchanted items the more he became tempted. All of that power inside to be his for the taking, enough power to rule of spiritual and mortal realms as a king. The power to reshape the crater, to undo the past all in his hands. And as these dark thoughts began to trinkle in his mind he slowly began to be overcome by them. Like posion this new darkness was moving towards his better judgment clouding his true self. Suddenly he came back to earth when he heard very faint whispers of an annoying voice calling his name. The thoughts were leaving his mind and suddenly he saw Siren walking towards Pyros and Vergo. Kyern retraced his thoughts in confusion. What was that dark force that just entered my mind? All of those dark illusions of promised power as tempting as they were were only illusions and could be's not will be's. Now Kyern had a new enemy and he didn't know from were it was striking. A new enemy stronger than him that could invade his mind and send a parasite of dark thoughts that consumed him, almost controlling him. Then a new horrible thought entered his mind. What if it targets somebody else? Walking over to Vergo to tell him of the new force he slowly wen't over the speech in his mind. "So Vergo guess what a new........". Then did Kyern really panic. Cause for some reason he couldn't say waht had happened to him and he stopped walking over towards VErgo knowing he'd only embarass himself trying to explain something he couldn't say. What was this new foe in this game of chess?

Siren listened to Pyros explain that he could handle most people without difficulty, unless they insulted someone he cared for. She could sense his eyes on her face, though he didn't say anything about her. She thought he was being careful about what he admitted to those around, incase their relationship provided something to use against them, and she couldn't blame him. She didn't know how much he trusted those they were travelling with, and his uncertainty must provide some incentive to be careful about her. She looked up and watched as Kyern walked up to join them. He looked a little miffed as he began to talk to Vergo and then stopped midsentence. His words confused her, and she wondered if he had thought better of telling them what was on his mind. "I think that would be best, Vergo. We're running out of time to find the artifacts and the more we find out before hand, the better off we are." she replied to his offer of leading them to the academy. She thought about the scroll that was hidden in her pocket as she spoke.

Pulling the cloak from off, her wings stretched for the sky. They had not felt the air against them in days. Was it so vital that no one knew her true identity? There it was again, the carelessness feeling she knew she could not have. Grabbing the sword which was on her back, she tied it to her waist. All thoughts were gone once she took flight. Observing the palace and its grounds, something else began to fill her mind. This place seemed familiar some how. Almost like she had been here before this. However, these thoughts were cut short by the sudden rush of darkness that filled her head. It was as though something was trying to get into her head, pushing and prying. When landing it was not as graceful as it could have been. She was on her knees holding her head. Standing slowly, she looked around. The feeling had vanished just as fast as it had appeared. Without thinking of her identity, she raced back into the castle. She had only let her guard down for a moment, how could she had been so foolish. Approaching the others, her wings were folded behind her. This would be a shock to those who did not know what she was until now. Bowing her head she spoke to vergo "it seems we might have a problem...there is an evil that is lurking here and..." glancing at Kyern, his eyes said it all. She turned her face from him, it was obvious to her that he himself had felt something. The eyes can tell a lot about someone if you know how to read them. She did not want to place him on the spot, if he had not said anything already, so she kept this knowledge to herself as she spoke again. "and testing each of our wills, it seeks one that is weak at mind...to acquire what it wants or what it seeks." Bowing her head once more she stepped back, not far from the others, but enough to give each of them some room.

Siren stared, stunned at the pure white wings with a golden glittery sheen. She was used to Kyern's sometimes wings, but this was natural, and beautiful. Dewdrop was like a bird, but with human attributes, like she was part cat, but she'd never set eyes on anything like her. She gaped, only half hearing that another evil was beginning to show itself. Coming back to her senses, she listened to the end of Dewdrop's speech. Her eyes darted towards Pyros' face, anticipating the worry that she had seen when she'd woken. She didn't want to break Pyros' careful lines of protection, but she wanted to comfort him, to let him take strength from her as she'd done from him so many times. She looked at him uncertainly for a moment, her fingers still touching his palm tentatively. She felt a sudden urge to be selfish, but looked about in surprise. It felt like magic was spreading out inside her, but she hadn't even felt threatened before it had expanded. She realized with a jolt that it wasn't her own magic, and she felt her face blanche. It felt evil, nothing like her own magic, and it was spreading quickly, like a virus. She had to fight it, she knew, but it was infectious, fogging her mind. Yessss. she heard a hiss, her eyes wide in fear. Her hand tightened involuntarily around Pyros' as she felt a pain like claws inside her, bending over as she tried to curl away from the sharp, pain inflicting magic. The pain passed in a moment, and she stayed bent over, her hand on her knee as she breathed hard in recovery. She straightened slowly, expecting the pain to run through her again at any moment, but nothing happend, not even when she had completely straightened. She felt tired again, but she couldn't detect the magic anymore, as if it had found her an unsuitable host and left her body. She didn't realize as her eyes turned a dark blood red color, not able to see own face, though she knew she was still white from the experience. An onlooker might think she was the walking dead if they gazed upon her, but she soon regained her coloring, and as she blinked the red color faded slightly. Her blue shade covered over the red like a hungry being, making her appear normal once more. She looked down at her hand, still tightly clutching Pyros', and slowly loosened her grip, still waiting for the pain to return. She tried to appear as if nothing had happened, but it wasn't working, and she knew that her strange behavior would be cause for worry in her companions, especially Pyros. She took her hand from Pyros' and put her arms around her chest guardedly. Her eyes were still not completely normal, the usual blue frame around the iris replaced by a black line, but she didn't know that anything was wrong other than the fatigue that had just started spreading once again. "I think we should head to the academy." she suggested in a confident sounding voice. It was her voice, but the tone surprised her, it was a way she never spoke. She closed her mouth in consternation.

Pyros watched as Kyern began to say something but stopped half way through talking as he moved away from them, this was something that didn't usually happen, not really Kyern behaviour. 'That was odd...' Pyros thought but he was drawn away from those thoughts as Siren suggested they should head for the academy. 'I wonder if Kyern's strange behaviour has something to do with this new threat, perhaps his worry is changing his attitude' Pyros wondered, he couldn't think of any better explanation.
Dewdrop moved toward them, with wings that were folded behind her, Pyros kept his eyes on the wings, examining them. He had never seen anything like that other than Kyern and even his wings were nothing like these, they were a completely different style and look. 'What is she? Some sort of hybrid like Siren? But i've never heard of a bird that was able to mate with a human...' He wondered as Dewdrop began to speak of a new evil that lurked in Darklight. Pyros paid good attention to her words now, they seemed more important than what she was at the moment.
She spoke of a darkness that was testing their wills to see who was weaker minded that it could use to find what it seeked, he wondered what this meant. 'Weak minded? I wonder how you would know if you are weak minded? This could be a problem, depending on what it seeks i might be weak minded, how do you know these things?!' Pyros wondered, beginning to become paranoid, he didn't like fighting with paranormal beings, killing a man was simple but this was ridiculous.
Suddenly Pyros felt Siren's hand tightening around his, almost painfully and he turned his view to her with a gasp as she bent over forward, looking like she was in great pain. "Siren! Whats wrong?!" he shouted as she slowly straightened up again and stood straight up, Pyros didn't notice her eyes turn red as he watched her from the side, wondering what had happened. Siren released his hand and held her arms over his chest in a protective way before she suggested they go to the academy again. "Siren, are you okay?" Pyros asked her, she seemed to think nobody had noticed what happened but he knew from the second she tightened her grip on his hand that something was wrong.

Her breathing was slowly returning to normal, and she heard Pyros ask her if she was alright. She turned to look at him, about to tell him that she'd just felt a sharp pain, but was surprised when she couldn't find the words. "I've never been better. I thought I saw something, I'm okay." she heard her voice, but she hadn't been thinking those words. She felt her mouth angle up into a smile as she gazed at him; it was a reassuring smile, but there was no familiarity in it, no gentleness, no love. Her hand reached out to touch his shoulder and she heard herself speak again. "Are you alright?" they were the words she had been thinking earlier, but she didn't think they applied at this instance. He was right to be worried about her, but she couldn't portray her own thoughts. She was panicking, but nothing was happening. The smile didn't falter, she didn't blink more than usual, her heart rate remained normal, no abnormal breathing. She couldn't even move her hands. Something was very wrong.

Everything seemed normal enough for the walk too the academy. Nothing out of the blue... well except for the confused looking Pyro's and now normal behaving Siren who just minutes ago seemed to have a little heat stroke. But knowing that dewdrop had faced this new force and had overcome it gave him some strength.. some. Yet this new force was
One, preventing him from speaking out warning people of the new force so the group could have been left to wonder about Dewdrops warning all for nothing because none of them reliazed how close this force was
and two this new force had somehow layed seeds of darkness inside his body. And Kyern could feel the struggle he was having as the seed of hatred at his heart was being pumped by his veins all over his body. And the seed of betrayel set root into his mind so ever slowly trying to take control over his body and so far it was winning. Not only coulld Kyern not warn the others but his body kept on moving forward towards the tower with an content smile while behind his mask called the face a battle was raging for control of his body and the host was winning. How many people will be affected by this force he thought to himself as he sent waves of pure, holy magic into the seed of envy located in his arm. The seed only faltered for a few seconds before continuing its growth trying to trap Kyern's mind and soul inside his body like a shell. How many others in there group at this very moment were fighting this battle. Was he alone or was there more? How many had already been taken over by this force?
Then a strange thing happened, the seeds inside Kyerns body had won. So very wuickly and with no effort at all they picked up Kyerns soul and pushed it outside his body. He landed with a light breeze on the ground as his companions kept on walking towards the Acadamy and his soul was left in there dust. "Wait" he yelled but not even he could hear his whisper of a voice and the group kept moving forward. Then the dark light kingdom setting (scenery) began melting away like tears welling up in your eyes blocking out the world and with a sudden pop Kyern was thrust into darkness.
He was now in a room, well to be more specific it was a room with a spot light of light shining down from above. Its source unknown, and besides that little beam of light the entire universe was blakness. A room that semed to go on forecer but you could only see darkness. So Kyern crawled over to the spot with light and lied down underneath it. He was alone and his body was being controlled by evil forces and his soul wasn't even inside his body anymore. Now his essence, his soul was in a room, all alone and all he could do was lie down and wait as his body pulled by evil strings was waltzing around like he was still there.

He listend to everyone and watched what had happened. He made no real motions evident that he was worried but nodded to let them know he understood. He took in a deep breath and with the urgency they had all felt he began to work a low yeild spell as he traced a circle in the air. He smiled at the reactions some made seeing the wings of Dewdrop be revealed and continued his spell. Within moments of the air drawn circle completed a shimmering pool of white and blue energy rippled inside that circle. " Let's go then. This portal is temporary so enter it quickly. You'll exit inside the Academy. There i'll introduce you to your teacher while Kyern and myself visit the toy shop if hes up for it. " He stepped through the portal and vanished.
(( you can post your entrance into the portal here or in the magic acadamy. see you all there. And Keyern after they are introduced to the teacher i'll see you in the city board. ))

Siren saw the portal open up in front of her, hearing that it was temporary, and stepped through quickly, though it wasn't her own thoughts that had moved her. She felt frustrated that she was just a spectator in something she ought to be in control of, and fearful that they were leading the intruder of her body somewhere that would make it stronger, and her less able to fight it. Thinking this she began to attack the presense more, and after a moment she heard a low chuckle. I wouldn't do that if I were you. You'll injure yourself. she heard the malicious voice and seethed silently as she thought of a way to dispell it. She saw herself exit the portal in front of a building and realized that it was the academy. She waited for the rest of her companions to come as well. (to the academy )
