-NPC-
The two figures stop afew steps infront of her as the gates close behind her. The first to speak was the king, known as Kizar, younger brother to Killian who is also king in Darklight but in another area. " Rise Dewdrop, we welcome you to the elite gaurd. I trust you understand your primary mission that has been given to you. As for your personal feelings and mission....that you will be granted as well for I belive it will tie into your quest. " He smiled softly and helped her back to her feet. Unlike his brother Kizar was a much kinder and level king but with a bad temper when his family was in danger. The queen then spoke as well. " Welcome Dewdrop to your palace. Please don't be so formal and relax alittle. Our son is on his way to meet with you and introduce you to the group you will be traveling with. " They both smiled and walked with her into the courtyard where their son was coming out of the side entrance.

We shall see who's power is stronger Kyern thought inside his mind. This kid may be powerful but so is arrogance and the demon he was going to be fighting was something to be feared but this kid would learn that soon. In fact Kyern was petrified of this creature and its powers for two reasons. Blood was a life force and whoever consumed blood grew amazing powers. Unicorns blood prolonged life, nymph blood increased magical power and even the blood of humans gave the users amazing strentgh and endurance aganest magic. Even Kyern who had built the magic acadamy could only blind this creature. In history there were only twelve of these creatures but in the flesh world one of them had destroyed an entire kingdom and an entire army. The only reason they were all killed but one was because they never hunted together but were total independent creatures. The second thing he feared was that this monster before he was blinded and doomed to wonder had consumed so much blood and who knew what his powers were know. Stronger or weaker but one thing was certain, it would take more the dark light kingdoms strong king, queen and prince to take this thing out. "Be warned then younger one, this creature is stronger then you make it too be" and Kyern followed him out with the others. He kept closer to Siren just in case the darklight expirement had made a faster journey then he had assumed. Vergo lead the group outside the courtyard and towards the city gates. Kyern could already see a group of people by the gate gathered around a new hooded figure which Kyern could only guess was an ally. But seeing the king and queen from a distance he could see that they had grown up quite a lot, actually A LOT and seeing them from children to adults was a surprise.

Siren was too surprised to say anything. She hadn't been aware at all of their dire situation. There was a creature that thirsted for her blood and Pyros' blood. She heard Pyros say that he wouldn't let the creature kill her or himself, and was glad that he had included his own safety in his vow. She looked at him and finally found her voice. "I will let nothing happen to Pyros, and if my death endangers him further, then I will do all in my power to keep myself alive as well." she spoke. She meant every word, intending on living as long a life as she could manage, and keeping Pyros by her side. She was his, though saying it like that might upset him because he didn't like the idea of her being pet-like. Kyern and Vergo were still at odds in their opinions of the danger, and she didn't want to get in the middle of it, so she stood close to Pyros and waited for their attention to turn back to the whole group. Vergo turned and addressed all who were standing there, telling them to say when they were ready. He turned and left, going to retrieve another of their group, he'd said. Siren hadn't had a chance to eat, so she drew herself back into the banquet room and up to the table. She was aware that she had a shadow, and turned her head to see Kyern, unusually close. A little perturbed she went back to examining the food. She sampled small portions of everything she could see, and was content at tasting each new food. It reminded her of the chicken soup that she had first tried under Pyros' orders when she'd been ill. Thinking of the incident she turned her eyes to find Pyros again, thinking that he must also be near. She thought that he might be wary of Kyern's proximity to her, since he was often protective, having watched her get hurt so many times before. Her eyes travelled to the scar down her left forearm, which had been caused by a servant of Silver Viper's king. He had felt so terrible after watching the man in brown gouge a line in her arm with his dagger to collect her hybrid blood. She was still unsure whether he had forgiven himself or not, though she had never blamed him for its occurance. She looked back up, searching out Pyros' crimson eyes. The color had startled her at first, but she saw a different significance to it now, the intensity and passion with which they burned into her light blue eyes was breathtaking. Vergo had similarly colored eyes as well, she had noticed. She had noted the direction he had gone, in order to meet their newest companion, and kyern had too apparently. She had seen Pyros eat already, so she started towards the direction that Vergo had gone. They would rest soon, but Vergo would have to show them where to go. She walked out towards the gate where Vergo had headed and noticed that there seemed to be a small group there. The king and queen, vergo and another form in a white cloak. Kyern was still unusually close beside her, and she wondered if Pyros' red eyes were burning holes in the back of his head. They made their way to Vergo's side and she spoke, "I'm sorry that we did not wait behind. I hope that isn't too bad?" She was a little worried about what he would think, but she didn't expect him to be angry.
OOC//: I tried to model mine as closely as possible to Kyern's, because I think we were supposed to stay behind, but in any case, I just added a few frivolities in the middle.

He kept his thoughts hidden well, and kept his frustration and anger about this Kyern buried within his mind as well. He found his mother and father near the gate to the courtyard along with a cloaked figure that felt like one of the rare High angels that came and went from the gateways. And this one seemed to be wearing the marking of a newly ordained Elite gaurd. That would increase their chances for better defense and offense at least. He stoped anext to his father and smiled softly giveing a gentle half bow to the new arrival. " Welcome to Darklight. I am Vergo your guide. "

(Ok Were all suppose to head towards the Magic acadamy right? I sure hope so cause thats were we are heading next)
Kyern glanced at the caped arriver. He assumed grettings would either be made know or later but seeming how neither Vergo nor the newcomer were introducing any of the group he just assumed that the introductions were cut. Ignoring the greetings between the two he began scanning the background and listening to the white noise. Nothing unusual was heard or to be seen which was a relief to Kyern. Finally Vergo said outloud "Now please join us Dewdrop we were just heading towards the magic Acadamy to interpret some clues to the Trasure of chaos." I sure hope Vergo knows that he can trust her this Dewdrop thought Kyern in his thoughts as the group began to follow Vergo. She seemed nice, well in truth she looked like a person who could trust with your life even when you didn't even know her but thats what worried Kyern. The fact that she looked so trustable but that was something he was just going to have to live with.....or regret. Kyern began to ease a little and began to move farther and farther away from Siren until he was the last one in the group. In case of a surprise attack. Vergo lead the group on through the city until they all came to a building much similar too a castle. Well a castle made entirely out of towers. The main tower had many other towers branch off it making the building kinda look like a metal tree. Looking up at the top he could see the tower he had built with his own hands soo many ages ago.

OOC: I hope I am not to late with posting Her eyes met those of the King and Queens, she gave a faint smile and rose to her feet with a bit of help. Once she spoke, her voice was soft and perhaps almost a bit shaky. "Thank you my King and Queen...I have been filled in on my task, but not enough I am afraid..." She trailed off seeing more people file out of the castle. She stood watching, studying each person underneath the hood of her cloak. Her head shifted to vergo once he welcomed her. Bowing her head she spoke once more "I shall do my best to help in any way possible..." Her hand reached up and drew back the hood. Her face held angelic features, but still she would seem only human to them. The secret of her true self would stay hidden from those who did not know, unless needed to be revealed. Emerald eyes glanced around the group that stood before her. Long dirty blonde hair was tied into a ponytail which came to just above her bottom. There was a chain around her neck, but the charm on the chain could not be seen due to the cloak. "I am Dewdrop, it is a pleasure to meet you all"

He smiles softly nodding to her. He turned feeling the others follow and join him. He took a sideways stance so that the others could see her clearly and he motioned to each member of the group. Intoduceing her to Kyern, Siren and Pyros, and them to Dewdrop. He then turned and smiled to his parents and nodded as they smiled and returned to their own duties. " We are heading to the Acadamy just as soon as everyone is ready. Rest and eat then we shall leave. Once out of the courtyard do not speak with anyone or wander off. Darklight has his mazes and its bad elements just as any other mortal world kingdom. "

Siren stood silently as everyone was introduced. She heard him say that they should rest and then they would begin thier jorney once more. She nodded, still silent as she waited to be lead somewhere she could sleep. Finding the scroll had tired her, though she still had energy enough to move about. She yawned, blinking alert immediately as she realized how much she needed sleep. She wondered how long she'd been ignoring her fatigue. "Perhaps you should show us where to rest." she offered quietly to Vergo.

Pyros listened as Kyern and Vergo continued to debate their powers, neither of them willing to admit they were inferior to the other, though it made sense that they both had pride, they were beginning to annoy him. Pyros needed to know more about the situation they were in and how they would fight this creature rather than worry about who was the greater being. Eventually they began to speak of the monster again, Vergo assumed the creature would take 3 days to get to them, but he seemed confident that in that time he could handle the situation. 'Three days? In that time we could have fled the kingdom, but I know Siren, she isn't going to walk away from here too soon, she is so into this whole treasure thing' Pyros thought as he looked over at her. Vergo said that they would be going to Magic academy where they could research the clues they had and then he would get some 'toys' from his uncle for Siren and himself to use, he obviously meant weapons of some sort.
Pyros was silent, drowned in thoughts as he tried to piece together all the events that were happening, they were being hunted by a creature, yet it seemed that only Siren and him were in direct danger from the creature and that they were its targets as they could be used to make it more powerful, Pyros' worries were dragged toward Siren, she was as capable as he was to keep herself alive and well, though he always worried about human error bringing her to an end as so many great fighters did, many times he had almost died because of an error, he was just lucky enough to walk away every time it happened. Vergo and Kyern left the room with the words that the creature was stronger than they made it out to be, Pyros followed behind them, watching as Kyern and Siren kept within close proximity of each other. Pyros knew Siren knew Kyern long before he did and that they were close friends, not companions, but it still made him feel uneasy when he saw her so close to other males, it was just his male, human nature acting up and he tried to ignore it.
Moments passed and the group seemed to split up again, Siren moved back toward the food, while Kyern and Vergo went over to the courtyard to meet a newcomer to the group, Pyros stood half way between each path, he turned and watched Siren eating and then turned back to Kyern and Vergo before looking ahead of them to see the hooded figure on its knees, kneeling before someone, he couldn't make out who it was though. 'I wonder who that is? Obviously someone of great importance' Pyros thought as he realized that everyone was going over to meet the person, he looked over at Siren again, she didn't seem to care as much and Pyros wasn't going to let her out of his sight while they were in danger of consumption by the monster, but he did want to know who this newcomer was. Pyros noticed that after a while Siren also headed in the direction of the gate, Pyros then followed still noticing the close distance between Kyern and Siren, his fists tensed up slightly before he released them as they got to the gate and Pyros viewed the hooded figure, scoping it to see what it was. Pyros now noticed that the king and queen were welcoming the newcomer. 'This is definitely someone important, the king and queen are welcoming them in' Pyros thought, he couldn't see anything under the cloak getting no answers to his curiosity.
He noticed that Kyern was very silent as Vergo introduced himself to the newcomer and then spoke its name as Dewdrop, asking it to join them to the magic academy to learn more of the treasure of chaos. Pyros noticed as Kyern moved away from Siren and then back behind Pyros, replacing him as the last in the group. 'Strange, Kyern isn't usually one to drop back, why has he suddenly moved away from Dewdrop?' Pyros thought as he turned to face Dewdrop, still unable to see under the hood. 'Is there something he knows that I should?' he added to his thoughts, now doubting in his own mind whether he could trust it, but before he had time to assess the situation they were heading off again.
They came to a large building that seemed to be branched off into many towers, Kyern seemed to be admiring the building though Pyros had no idea why, and didn't really find it important to know. He looked over at Dewdrop, now discovering that it was a female human, emerald eyes and blond hair that looked much like Sirens except styled into a ponytail instead. Pyros listened as Vergo suggested that they get some sleep and then Siren asked for someone to lead her to a place she could sleep. Pyros looked up at the building, 'Strange, I thought this was the magic academy we all wanted to get to in such a hurry, yet we are going to have a rest first instead' Pyros wondered as he walked over near to Siren.
OOC: Im confused, time differences in posts are so meddled up, didn't kyern say that vergo lead them toward a huge building that he had built himself? Wasn't he implying that the building was the magic academy? Yet nobody else seems to have acknowledged that we moved from the courtyard to that building...

OOC//: because he was powerplaying..... he was skipped over because Vergo wasn't finished with what he was doing, and because kyern assumed that he could move another character. I replied over him as well, because vergo's post was made assuming we hadn't moved.
BIC//: Siren looked up at Pyros as he moved closer to her, only just noticing that Kyern wasn't nearby. She looked at him as calmly as she could manage, though it wasn't hard for her, in her fatigued state. She felt like she was floating, her mind clouding slowly over. "Pyros." she whispered in acknowledgement, wanting to place her head on his shoulder and fall asleep right where they were. She knew it wouldn't help her to be in this state, but the only way to get out of it was to find sleep.

He gave a gentle nod to Siren's suggestion and smiled as well. With their new companion introduced he headed for a door just to their left. Once at the door he touched afew placed and it opened. He turned to them and smiled softly and spoke with a gentle tone. " This is the guest quarters. You may choose to sleep in one room as a group, doubles, or singles. Each room will contour itself to help ease and comfort those that enter the room. It also has ties directly to the elite gaurd, myself and my parents should anyone become endangered or should need anything. I leave you all to your desires. A servant will be on call should you need anything else. " He noded to them and then walked back to the center of the courtyard where he sat crosslegged infront of the fountain.

Siren looked at Pyros questioningly as she learned that the rooms could bear any number of people. She didn't know if he was tired, but she was certain of her own fatigue. She picked a door, opening it to find a massive, comfortable looking bed within. Yawning she moved to the bed and curled up in the center of it. She was asleep almost instantly, and was in no danger of dreaming. She could barely remember the feel of the soft quilt beneath her small frame as her mind clouded completely. When she opened her eyes, she looked up in shock as the memory of coming her returned. Slowly she realised where she was, and the impending danger that lurked nearby. She looked around herself, leaning up slightly, as she wondered if Pyros had followed her.

Pyros heard Siren say his name softly as she realized he had moved closer to her, he looked down at her and then paid attention to Vergo as he lead them away from the academy, Pyros looked back at it with curiosity, 'Could it hold information on how to keep us safe from this creature?' Pyros wondered as they left its sight and came to a bunch of rooms as Vergo explained that they could each have a room or could share them with whoever they wanted, he said they were all linked with guards, the royal family and himself should they require any assistance. Pyros watched him then move off and sit down in front of a fountain, his attention was drawn away from him as Siren looked at him curiously and then moved off into one of the rooms.
Pyros looked around at the others before looking up at the sky, 'I can't believe after all we have been through now were being hunted by a creature that threatens the entire kingdom' Pyros wondered as he moved off toward the same room she had entered, he looked over at the bed where she had already fallen asleep, he smiled in adore as he slowly and quietly closed the door. He moved over toward the only window in the room and stood in front of it, looking out toward the kingdom he could see. He turned his head toward Siren with a look of worry, he listened to her calm breathing. 'This is nothing we can't handle, we have been through worse' he thought, moving over to a chair which was by a table and sat at it.
Pyros wondered about what was in store for them in the next few days, Siren was obviously much calmer than he was about it. He could handle humans, cats and anything else he had come across so far in his travels, but this monster seemed like something completely different, Kyern seemed to fear it and although Kyern seemed arrogant to him, he knew that he held great power which didn't seem to help him comfort his fears of the monster. Pyros sighed and looked over at Siren again before closing his eyes and falling asleep on the chair.
He awoke on the chair and saw Siren leaning up in the bed looking over at him, "Good morning, how was your night?" Pyros asked her with a smile on to mask his worry.

Siren found Pyros sitting in a chair. His brow was furrowed in worry as he slept, and she wondered just how much of a brave face he was putting on for her when he was awake. He didn't seem to like her seeing that he was worried about something, but when he fell asleep he couldn't hide it from her anymore. His eyes opened and found her looking at him, and he smiled, completely changing his expression. She tried not to show how exasperated she was by the 'brave face' as he asked her how her night had been. "restful. I'm not tired anymore." she replied,"How was your rest?" She moved to the edge of the bed and stood up, stretching before she moved over to the table he was sitting beside. As she approached food appeared, and she realised that she was hungry. She ate a little of the food, but was thinking too much about the look she'd seen on Pyros face. She looked at him again, and still didn't see the same level of worry upon it. She was worried about him and now that her mind was clear, she could easily see why he was worried.

OOC: sorry guys it took forever to reply I have been working so much this week that I have not been able to get on.
Many different things had accured within her first day of being there. She had met a few different races, who all seemed fairly decent, nor a threat. While everyone had rested she stayed awake. She walked the halls by their rooms to ensure their safety. Her white cloak still hide her true identity. She had been asked to take it off, but refused. Slowly walking down the hall she stopped infront of a room that belonged to Kyern. a slender hand reached out and touched the door to Kyern's room. There was an odd feeling about this one that made her just a bit uneasy. She would have to keep an eye upon this one. By the time the sun began to rise, she sat on a belcony railing looking out over the kingdom. Though she was not patroling she could sense what was taking place. Her hands fiddled with the necklese around her neck. The one who had given her the amulet long ago could still not be remembered by her. Her eyes looked down at the amulet around her neck. As her mind raced an old memory began to slowly consume her thoughts; a time when she was younger and her older brother was laughing and playing with her. She shook her head. These thoughts could not cloud what her mission was. She had to try and let the past go. She let the necklese dangle from her neck once more. The bottom of her wings had been exposed while she sat there. They were soon hidden again once she stood and started back into the palace.
