Deep in the forest of Niraki, lies two tribes that have no clue of the other existence. They both have huge territories and are both kept isolated for the other, so they have no clue that the other exists. One tribe is called the Nami tribe, which consists entirely by girls and is near a gigantic lake, and the other is Kakou tribe which has only guys in it and is near as volcano. Both are run by an old mage, which can change genders. This old mage also controls the animals, and brings in new children to each of the tribes by his storks. He also put up a spell where neither of the tribes can wander into the other's territories. However, when the mage dies, the spell is broken, and eventually they find each other....

Niora grumbled as she came out of her sleeping place, and shook off the leaves which is what her bed consists of. It was gorgeous day, which the sun light was filtering thought the new sprouted leaves. It was the time of the grass moon, and everything was turning gracefully green. The lake sparkled with the sunlight, and truly welcomed the day. Niora remembers how cold a winter it was during the wolf moon, and the lake froze over. It was a good thing that they have water mages and can control water, or else winter would have been a lot harder.
Speaking of mages, the General Mistress, which was the ultimate user of magic, died about a week ago. This thought brought Niora back into reality. It wasn't a glorious day after all. They had her passing yesterday, down by the lake. Niora still didn't believed that she was really gone. After all, the General Mistress had been known to be gone days at a time, and gave no explanation of where she had gone, not even to the second in command, who recently, got moved up to general due to the Great Mistress's death, Hildegrad, to the healer, Fiona, or to the Fortune Teller, Anika. Another mysterious thing about her absence is when she came back, she occasionally had little red spots on her hair. They were quite mysterious, and Niora can't recall a time when she ever saw them anywhere else before.
Niora deep in thought, didn't notice that General Hildegrad has came up to her.
"Niora, you are to go on a hunting patrol with Kiri." Hildegrad, as usual, was dressed in armor, even though, except for animals, there was no realydanger. She had her silver hair kept under a helmet, Her ice blue eyes bore into Niora, and if daring her to not obey her orders.
"Yes General Hildegrad. I shall hunt right away." and Niora dashed off to find Kiri It wasn't hard. Kiri was sitting by the lake, twisting her blond hair and humming to herself. Occasionally she would stop and mummer something and the water would do tricks for her, on her command. She was one of the water training and being the same age as Niora, which as 16, she still had plenty to learn, but was doing quite well for her age.Niora coughed to get her attention and sure enough, she turned her head.
"Oh hello Niora, what brings you here?"She asked in her usual soft voice. She smiled. She and Niora have been best friends ever since they were small children. Even though they were chosen to do different things, their friendship still remained strong.
"Hildegrad wants you to hunt with me. Wanna come?" Kiri looked a little surprised, even though it was not in the least bit unusual for hunters and mages to hunt together. "Sure," she replied. She got up and brushed off the damp dirt off her light blue and green mage dress, and started to walk into the forest. Niora whistled. From the opposite side of where they were heading came a light grey and white wolf. Her fur was damp to the touch, as all animals here, and her green eyes were sparkling.
"Hello Splash." Niora said, bending down and letting her brown hair drop over her face. Splash was her hunting companion, and every hunter had one, though they could be any animal. They aided in fining the prey, and sometimes in killing it. With her hunting companion, and her best friend with her, she set off to hunt.
