OOC: not really to be posted in, just an incite on what denieks house looks like and stuff.... maybe you will understand deniek more!
I'll be adding more when I'm bored... until then you might as well not read
BIC: The old dusty shack stood in the country side of the Silver Viper kingdom. It was not a very large building, but it was comfortable. The roof didn't leak and the walls kept the heat in during the winter. The windows squeaked as they rocked back and forth in the gentle spring breeze. Underneath the windows was Denieks garden but, Denieks garden was nothing like his neighbors gardens. Inside the garden were plants of all shapes and sizes, Mageroyal and peacebloom grew side by side there bright colors sticking out more than any other plants, there white Lilly-like flowers faced the sun, eager for it's warmth. Sprawled around the happy plants were vines of what looked like dried grapes, when they were popped a white sap fell to the ground. nothing grew where this sap touched, due to its acidic nature.
When you walked into the house the solid wood door would whined on its rusted hinges. In the front room there were piles upon piles of books, none of which had been opened in any recent time. The dust in the pages was thick enough to cut with a knife. Some books were sitting on the table but others were stacked in shelves. But, the majority of books were sprawled on the floor.
Deniek had carved a path through the crowded room to his kitchen. Inside was a brass kettle placed on the stove with some vile pink tea inside. around the charcoal stove were small knives that hadn't been cleaned since there last use. above the knives were two oak cupboards that held a small number of cups and dishes ready for use. The kitchen was hardly because Deniek would normally eat out
Beyond the kitchen lead down two doors, in one of them was the study, a neat desk was centered in the room with three quill pens two ink bottles and a stack of paper neatly placed on top. A comfortable willow chair was sat behind it, it was well used and Denieks butt had been molded into the seat. There were two book shelves with older and new books (as if he didn't have enough in the front room). These books were kept well dusted and were used often for Denieks experiments and research.
In the other room was nothing but a large marble throne, with two torches. on the arms of the giant stone chair was a dried red crust that looked eerily like blood. On this throne Deniek would mix ingredients for his variety of potions, the room was completely empty so that nothing would explode or catch fire during the chemical tests. There was a granite table with a few bottles and beakers scrubbed clean and ready for the next days use.
Finally the last room was Denieks bedroom, inside were two beds, one was a fancy silk bed that looks as if it has never been used, the other was a straw and linen bed that had been over used. in between the two beds was a night stand that was empty other than the two candles placed on it. The fancy bed was part of Denieks hidden past that he didn't share with anyone. The bed is cleaned every day and never is slept in
