Pyros watched the flames as they illuminated his eyes, as a fighter he had developed a sort of sixth sense and he could almost tell that there was a strike coming from behind him, he turned around to see the kick when it was a little too late, he was able to prevent any serious damage and turned his body out of the way, being struck just along the side of his ribs. Pyros feinted back a little and looked Vergo in the eyes, trying to analyze him like most of his opponents, but it seemed that the battle was already underway and would be raging very quickly, giving Pyros little time to analyze, hopefully he would discover enough of his opponent in the short time to hold his own weight.

chaos wathced the four of them practice. But their skills were so dull. The magical duel was nothing compared to others he had had and watching Pyro's and Vergo duel. Their all moving so slowly he thought. If I were dueling I do believe they'd all be crushed in five seconds. Sure they had power but man they were just too slow. And what was with the pratice where they dueld each other. Thats not a very smart way to learn magic he thought. If I were teaching I'd have them focus there magic on certain objects and then make them test their skills. See how long they could levitate rocks and how many at a time, how hot their fire magic was, how much water could they create and control.
And looking at Vergo and Pyro's par was just embarissing. They both had so many open spots were the other could strike and their kicks weren't very hard. Altough two of them were mortal so it was to be excpeted that they'd be weaker but the other two should have been way more advanced. An arch angel should be holding an offensive arena not defensive. and she should have been much faster. Maybe there was some hidden power she was saving for the right moment. Or maybe she really was just weak.
But the practice continued in his opinion as a poor pratice.
Thinking back to his plans he wondered when the imp would start releasing its fake power. And he also hoped that Niera was preparing for her part of the plan.

He smiled to himself but betrayed no emotion or revealed any tactics through his expresions. As he thought, Pyros managed to avoid most of the kick but it was the hidden surprise is what caught his opponent. A massive force came from the flat area of his foot and struck Pyros dead center of his side sending him to the ground. Vergo put his foot down and drew back on hand, revealing a red and silver light forming in his palm. Time you start learning about battle power and how to call on it at will. "
The headmaster yawned lightly as he watched the two magic users, it seemed slower than he had thought and shook his head. If they were going to battle then they would need to be faster with their powers. " Siren, Dewdrop your takeing way too much time for your attacks and defenses. Call your abilities up to full strength at the start and start useing them in rapid order, don't sit their and let them charge or you'll soon find yourselves dead, or captured. "

As the headmaster turned to them to instruct them, Siren kept her eyes on Dewdrop. The surprise method was slightly less useful on her than on a human, due to her cat-like reflexes, but she still didn't want to chance being caught off guard. Something told her that Dewdrop also would have some defense against surprise attacks. Her senses took in the magic that had formed, ready still for use in Dewdrop's palms. Water and earth. The combination would ensure her security if Siren attacked with her fire. The headmaster's words broke through her thoughts, 'faster?' she wondered. Quickly she changed the purpose of her magic, calling the flames back to her. A faster flame attack would cause an explosion, something that might throw everyone off, if the training field acted as the room it was in would. The dark clouds above seemed the perfect outlet for a lightning quick strike, and her eyes at once changed color. The flames would still be utilized, but now her eyes swam with golden tones as well, indicating an attack of the electric type. As she blinked a flash of lightning bore down on the place where Dewdrop was standing. Flames would errupt where it hit, whether on Dewdrop or the ground around her.

Her eyes watched Siren carefully. Studying her moves and how she held her self while wielding the elemental powers. The elements of water and earth within her own hands began to glow and pulse slightly. She was readying herself for the attack, when the headmasters voice could be heard. He began to explain that Siren and herself were taking to long to attack the other. This amused her slightly. Everything they were doing started to seem, less then good according to him. However, he was an ex-ruler of Darklight; perhaps this attitude served him well when he ruled. Sirens flames recoiled and disappeared. She closed her own hands dismissing the two elements. This was a wrong move on her part, for Sirens eyes flashed with lightning. She readied herself for the attack as lightning crashed down around her, creating a ring of fire that engulfed her. "Very nice attack" she thought to herself, wings folding around her. They shot back open creating a gush of wind, that seemed to devour the fire and leave nothing but a small ring of flames around her. Stepping over it, she looked back to Siren. With a nod she readied herself to attack. Her hand reached up to her brow and whipped the few droplets of sweat that had formed there from the flames heat. With a flick of her fingers the droplets flew towards Siren. As they traveled they became longer and bigger. They were turning into ice spears. She knew Siren would be able to avoid these because of her cat-like agility. This was just a distraction. She stepped forward holding her hand upward, once more, towards the sky. This hand began to glow with a soft brown color. She was about to use the earth elemental power. The ground around Siren would begin to shake, no matter where she had moved to avoid the ice spears. A small ring of dirt began to crawl around Siren. If she did not react to this fast enough she would be caught. Her hand would close around the soft brown glow which would shoot a tornado like funnel around her. Almost impossible to escape due to the speed of the swirling earth. If she had become caught, she would also notice that the funnel became skinner and skinner closing in around her. This was only if she had not reacted fast enough to the swirling dirt around herself.

Pyros fell backward onto the floor and looked up at his opponent, he was getting ready to punch him, or so it looked like, there was a glow in his palm that was forming and he seemed to be smiling. Vergo told him he had to learn about battle power and how to call it, Pyros wondered what he was going on about, it was probably something to do with magic, how would that help Pyros?
He rolled to the side and stood up quickly, for a moment he watched the glow to see if it would do anything particular, after a while he rushed in on Vergo again and threw two punches to the head and a final blow to the stomach, he wanted to keep attacking and not give him a chance to harness whatever power he was calling upon.

Vergo smiled as Pyros came at him again. He also noticed the confusion about what battle power was. Catching the one punch in his chest and the other with his stomach he lost only half of his breath slideing backwards slightly from the attacks and the glowing light in his other palm shot forward with incredible force and speed. If Pyros could react fast enough he would miss half of its force if not all of it. If not then the strike would send Pyros into a flip that would leave him lightly stunned. " Unlike the elements that are controled by magic, Battle Power is ones inner energy. This energy is within all warriors that have a drive to fight for the protection of others as well as just a drive to fight to better oneself. You have a great Battle spirit witch if harnessed your Battle Power will be a great weapon for defense and offense. Now try to focus all of your effort into one point of your body, usually the hands, feet and chest are best for the first time try.
-NPC-
He smiled watching the two, they learned quickly to heed his words and changed their tactics quickly. That was very good, things might progress quicker than he thought...at least with these two. He spared a glance at his nephew and the third. Just now trying to teach him to harness his power....not quick enough. He turned his attention back to Siren and Dewdrop watching them move, watching their abilities.

Siren watched as flames burst up from the ground where her magic had hit. She had felt the force of the strike even where she was standing, though it was only in light tremors through the ground. She watched in silent anticipation for the angel to dispell her magic, waiting no longer than two breaths as Dewdrop's wings suddenly spread, a gust of wind rending her flames harmless. 'What it must be like to have wings...' siren thought in wonder as she saw Dewdrop prepare to attack. Siren blinked as she watched drops of water shoot towards her, forming icicles in the air as they flew. She could see that Dewdrop knew she would be able to avoid them easily, and this made her wonder what trick Dewdrop was going to use. As the icicles approached, she jumped quickly into the air, dodging the icicles easily as she landed behind them. She righted herself, balancing her stance as she waited for the next part of the attack. Suddenly the ground below her began to shake, and she lowered herself a little farther, one hand resting on the ground to keep her balanced as she wondered what was going to happen. Just as quickly as the ground had begun to shake, the earth from around her raised, forming a funnel around her as a tornado was created. She gasped as she realized she would soon be trapped if she didn't escape quickly. She pushed off the ground with her feet and the one grounded hand, trying to leap backwards. Her body managed to get off the ground, but all she succeeded in doing was sending herself spinning in the mass of dirt and air. She was too late to escape. Keeping herself calm, knowing panic would not help her figure out how to get out of the swirling wind and earth magic, she closed her eyes to concentrate. Her eyes snapped open as she realized that the magic was not only spinning, but constricting as well, and her breathing was becoming harder. She could feel panic rising, but her breath wasn't the only thing burning in her chest. She could feel herself getting angry, but the anger was at herself, for not reacting quickly enough. She tried to take a deep breath to calm herself, but the magic that enclosed her body made it impossible, and she felt the anger rise. Siren could feel tears forcing their way up into her eyes as she tried to remain calm, but the anger wasn't going anywhere but up. As it rose, her magic began tugging at her control, and she fought to keep it inside her, her body still spinning in the air, the wind tunnel getting thinner. She could hold it in any longer. She let go of her control, and suddenly, without warning, her own wind tore through the wind that was binding her, spinning in the opposite direction and forcing the opposing magic to disperse. Her feet found the ground easily as her body lowered to the ground, no longer spinning. Her eyes were a dark, angry red color, and her magic tore out of her without reserve now. Not only was the ground around her ravaged from Dewdrop's magic, but her own was creating craters and pits along the ground as it fought its way towards the angel. Stray magic wound off in other directions as well, towards Pyros and Vergo and also towards the headmaster, but she couldn't stop it, nor control it any longer. It would only stop when her energy was gone. All her magics began coming at once, lightning hitting the ground all around her haphazardly, fire spinning in tornados of wind as well, rain beginning to fall rapidly and hard from the dark clouds above, and the earth shifting below her. She felt the fatigue of all the magic she had used that day bore down on her and just as suddenly as the magic had come, it stopped. She waivered for a moment, unstable on her feet, and then dropped to the ground, unconscious.

The earth elemental she was using was working on siren. However, she was not focused on killing siren by any means. Her purpose was to win against her opponent. The hand that held the light brown magic, closed tighter into a fist. This caused the funnel of earth and wind to become even thinner, trapping Siren within its winds. This was not to be the end. A massive force of energy ripped through her magic. Sirens body landed back onto the ground. When Siren's eyes met her own, they were blazing red with anger. Had she lost control of her magic? The question was answered as rain began to fall and funnels of fire struck the ground around ever one. Lightning struck the ground around them as well. She jumped to the side as lightning struck the ground around her. Craters were being created as Siren's magic rippled towards her. Just as she was about to move again, one of the funnel of flames borrow down onto her. Sidestepping, she let out a slight scream as the flames tore through her left wing. She fell to her knees as Sirens body fell conscious to the ground. The magic stopped, but something else was happening. Something that had not happened to her in many years. She began panting lightly. Blood trickled from her wing and made a puddle on the ground. Feathers fell off her injured wing into the puddle of blood. Her mind began to race. A memory that was locked inside began to emerge. A memory to be the lead cause of her inability to weild fire. Her home on fire, blazing with the screams of so many. A figure emerging from the flames with black wings. A horrible laugh coming from the figure. A pulse wave swept the ground. It would have either caused some people to fall or set them off balance. Her hands hit the ground, she was on all fours panting harder. Her eyes began to glow pure white. From her back it looked as though a second set of wings were trying to emerge from her back. Her fingers dug into the dirt. "No.." she whispered to herself. The amulet around her neck began to glow. Another pulse rippled the ground, in turn having the same effect as the first. Her body was trembling a bit as she slowly began to stand. Her left wing hung at her side. Though she was able to heal others it was harder to heal herself. She did not wait to see what reaction she was going to get. She slowly walked towards Siren and fell back to her knees. Her right hand placed itself on her chest. A soft glow began to form, filling her body with warmth. She was soothing her spirit and calming her body. Trying to help her heal from the fatigue and the sudden out burst of power. Her wing still bleed as she sat there and healed Siren quietly, unsure what they were about to face due to what had just happened.

chaos stunned at the power before him sat there quickly rethinking his previous plans.
The Angel Dewdrop had just showed the Nova ability, and that was the first time chaos had seen that ability in a long time. She was now more than a little mouse, but more of a hungrey lion. I should have expected the unexecpeted.
And Sirens power was very unique. "So her dark side is revealed" he whispered to himself. Seeing the power before him he knew that this single creature had more than enough power to destroy him completely. If only he could fine a way to harness her power and prevent it from hurting him, then he would truley be indestrucatable. He needed a way, he needed his chance and right now Darklight had to wait. Using his shadow force he contacted Niera and nearly shouted in her mind "NIERA AT ALL COSTS STOP WHAT YOUR DOING AND GO STOP DARKLIGHT RIGHT NOW, I NEED SOME MORE TIME!"
NPC
Laying a gentle hand on the resting siren Kyern looked down into the closed eyes and back to his surrondings. No one knew he was here, no one could sense him, not even chaos. His soul was just floating around in the background and he had only this one chance to talk.
"Siren I need you too listen very softly, ok. This may appear like a dream but i'm really here. I'll be gone when you wake up again but listen to me now ever so softly like you always do. I bring news of importance about the unvelining of a plot very secret, a plot revolving around you. My time here is limited so I can only tell you so much but all of it is truth. chaos can not be trusted at all costs, he has a evil eye casted onto your magical gifts and he is ever so slowly penertrating your weaknesses. Trust none for i'm asking you to do this alone. I will come again later and ask you to do what i need you to do. For now keep this message a secret, even from those you trust the most."
And with that Kyern lost his control and he could no longer talk to Siren. So he left her there in the healing arms of Dewdrop.

Pyros felt one strike make contact as the other was caught by his opponent, quickly another attack came flying toward him, it was the glowing palm which Vergo called battle power, obviously Pyros didn't want to find out exactly how powerful the attack was and dodged to the side, the strike only lightly running along his upper torso. Pyros was forced backwards a few steps as he looked down at the point of contact, his shirt was slightly ripped and his skin had gone a bit red, but nothing serious, he had dodged the main blow which would have been very deadly.
He looked up at Vergo as he explained that battle power was a power from within your body rather than elemental like magic. He explained that it was a power within every fighter and that Pyros had a strong will of its power and if he learned to harness it, he could use it as a powerful weapon. The whole thing seemed a little taboo for Pyros, but even if he never intended to use this power it wouldn't hurt him to learn it, he might find a use for it one day. 'I guess I have to be open to the more modern arts of fighting, even if they are so strange and mystic in origin' Pyros thought as Vergo went on to tell him to put all his effort into one point, such as his hands or feet.
Pyros clenched his fist, tightening his arm and tensing up as much as he could, he didn't really think that this battle power would come to him, he had often supplied all his offensive power to a single point in battle and had never witnessed anything like a glow of magnificent power. 'I guess i'll just have to try.' Pyros thought as he brought himself into a stance once more and focused himself into a mental state of pure brute force, he quickly moved forward toward Vergo and threw a punch of massive proportion in strength, the attack missed but there was no glow at all, obviously something wasn't right in the way he was attempting to gain this new power. 'This is going to take a lot of work, I've never had any kind of power like this and im not used to these taboo styles of fighting.' Pyros thought as he looked Vergo in the eyes, he had trained in these sorts of things for years as was obvious from the way his body moved.
Pyros rushed forward a few steps and threw his elbow forward toward Vergo, the strike was more brute than the last, but still no glow was apparent. "I don't think it is going to be very easy to teach me this, I don't normally believe in these styles of fighting working to my advantage." Pyros told Vergo, it was easy to teach a mage how to use another magical type of attack, but to teach a physical fighter how to use such strange techniques would take alot of time and effort.

He smiled softly seeing the display of ability from both women. And Dewdrops obvious bloodline of becomeing one of the rarest of angels. But as he looked them over he spoke afew words seeing what he needed to see. The world around them became nothing more than pure light and dark all at once. Their bodies became refreshed and then fatigued as time moved forward yet not at all. He continued to chant for a good half hour. If any bothered to search through their minds or watch their pendats they could tell that something was giveing them the knowledge and experience from years of training.
Vergo smiled as he aided his grandfather in this chant after blocking one blow then takeing the elbow to his shoulder. He smiled and with a shrug into the still connected point of contact sent a shockwave so small that it wasn't more than a tingle into Pyros, jumpstarteing the ability to learn and his powers. The rest was done by the chant. When all was said and done the three were left greatly exausted as the outside world returned to the room they had first entered. Their pendents had completely changed colors, and each could feel the new abilities within them.
-NPC
" Now then, what has happened was a time chamber magic. You three have gained three years of training and experience that my teachings as well as Vergo's could give you all in the span of only half a day by now. Leave the pendants hanging outside when you go, and always remember to rely on your emotions and keep firm grip on your powers for they all aid you in one way or another. " He moved over to a desk and sat down. Evident that doing such a spell had weakened the headmaster a great deal.
Vergo smiled softly opening the doors letting his own energies flare ever so slightly to give the three a small boost of energy. " If you would like to rest, relax and eat we'll return to the palace or if you prefer we'll head to the Inn next door. I have gifts ready for you now that training is complete. "

Siren could feel magic healing her, though it was mainly fatigue that had caused her to lose consciousness. All she could think as she gained energy was that she hoped that Pyros was alright, hoped she hadn't injured him. Please let him be unharmed. she pleaded silently as she gained enough energy to waken. She let her eyes slide open a little, but all was dark for the moment, and energy was still entering her body. Her sensitive ears heard a chanting noise, and suddenly the marker stone that was still secured around her neck began to change color. Their lessons were being quickened incredibly, though she wasn't sure she knew what she was learning. She heard the headmaster speak, and she opened her eyes a little farther, groaning as the light was bright in her eyes once more. "Pyros.." she spoke in the groan, then cleared her throat to call him louder. She pushed her torso off the ground to turn to look around for him. Her eyes had lost all of their red coloring, now back to blue as she found Pyros among those around her. She still felt tired, though both the headmaster and Dewdrop had given her something to use. As her loss of control returned to her mind, her eyes widened in fear and she looked over Pyros' body to see if she had injured him.

Pyros felt his elbow hit Vergo, though it didn't seem to injure him at all even with its great strength, Vergo must have undergone some serious training in conditioning that Pyros couldn't believe. Pyros felt something inside him, like a warmth that was consuming him but not in a bad way, it was sensational and it gave him a will to better himself. It was apparent that this was another part of the training and something that Vergo had done to help him unlock his battle power. Pyros noticed the room returning to its normal state and the pendant at his neck had changed colors to indicate that he had finished his training, 'Could i really have finished my training? Do I have the battle power ability?' Pyros wondered as he clenched his fist and looked down at it, he gathered all his strength and felt a tingle in his palms, he threw the punch into the air with all his might, but still nothing more than a tingle. 'I think I understand, Its a gathering power, If i keep trying i'll get it.' Pyros figured out to himself, he looked down at the pendant which had shown its true color, 'This just shows that the power is inside me, I only have to unlock it.' Pyros finished, he would continue training to unlock his battle power with time.
The headmaster told them to leave their pendants outside when they left, aswell as giving them a lecture on their new found abilities and how to rely on their emotions, these were very old pieces of advice that Pyros didn't believe in completely, emotions weren't a great tool in warfare in his eyes, as far as Pyros as concerned, to effectively fight you had to clear yourself of any emotions you were feeling and feel nothing for your opponent. Pyros hadn't seen Siren for a while now, he was so focused on his training that he didn't think there was a reason to worry about her, he knew she was tough and could hold her own in a fight, especially when her opponent had no intention of harming her.
He looked around, looking for her when he heard his voice gently being spoken, he recognized that it was her voice and looked in the direction. He saw Siren laying on the ground, he was surprised and wondered what had happened, he rushed over to her and then heard her call his name louder than before, she quickly pushed herself off the ground and stood up, she looked over at Pyros and realized that she was worried about him, though he was unsure why. He moved over to her and stopped in front of her, "What happened? Are you alright?" Pyros asked her as he looked over at Dewdrop, seeking the answers he wanted, he turned back to Siren, she seemed to be still checking that Pyros didn't have any visible injuries. He moved closer to her and wrapped his arms around her, "Im alright, stop worrying, im worried about what happened to you. I don't know how I didn't notice you fall to the ground, I was more focused in my training than I thought, im sorry about that." Pyros told her as he released her and left his hands on her biceps, "So what happened?" Pyros asked again.

It was as though nothing had happened. The room began to change as she silently healed Siren the best she could. She could not heal fatigue though. The healing powers that had flowed into Siren from her hands, was to ease her pains and calm her spirit. No one seemed concerned, perhaps this was a good thing. She stood silently, when Siren awoke and called for Pyros. Her injured wing, still fell limp to the ground. Blood still trickling down the white feathers. The pain was not as great as it had been before. Though it was a difficult task to heal herself, she would need too. Being an angel she was nothing without her wings. After the headmaster had spoken. She silently slipped out of the room. A small blood droplet trail could be seen. She had placed the stone she had been given; around the door handle before she had left the room. The should not miss her, due to the headmaster telling them they could rest. Also, what had happened to herself? She could not figure out the power she had felt welling up inside of her. Although, something similar had happened in her past, right? She could not remember. Her fist it the wall of the corridor she walked down. Why couldn't she remember things that seemed important to remember? Her legs carried her outside to the garden. With a soft sigh, she walked to the fountain and sat down. Her eyes glanced at the sight of her wing. There were feathers missing and blood coating most others on this wing. She folded the wing around herself to get a better angle to heal it. Once again a soft light came from her hand as she focused all she could into healing her injured wing. In the back of her mind, wondering if things were going as they should for them all.
