He walked alittle ways further and stoped. He turned to the wall and traced the faded symbols. Something here sent a shiver through his body. They sought something and it was close at hand here. He looked over to Siren and gave a soft smile. " M'lady, it appears that you have the strongest magical abilities here. Would you care to lend me a hand? "

Siren looked about the cave, feeling a strange sensation as they stopped yet again. Their guide had looked towards her with a smile and asked her for help. She turned her eyes back to him in surprise. "Oh.. I... okay." she said hesitantly, "What do you need me to do?" she asked in a stronger voice. She stepped forwards and suppressed a flinch as the magic feelings got stronger. I hope I can control it. she thought, careful to lock the thoughts away.
OOC//: well, thats why I asked you..... I guess we'll make it before.

He gave a soft smile feeling her unease at his request. He searched for a moment the essence around her before knowing what it was. " I need you to use the elemental magics fire, water, and earth all at once, aim at this faded symbol. I would do it myself but my own magics aren't developed for fighting or control of anything. " He traced the faded symbol for her and with a soft touch to her shoulder transfered a small amount of his energy, to help her control and combine her magics in such a way as he asked.

Pyros stood back as they conversed about using their magic for something. 'magic? I better keep my distance' Pyros thought as he stopped and watched as Vergo told her that she needed to aim all of the elements at a faded symbol in the wall and that he couldn't do it without her help. 'He needs her help? What has he done in the past to get through here?' Pyros wondered starting to get suspicious of the man.

Siren thoguth about what he was asking, and nodded, resigning herself to do the task. She felt his hand touch her shoulder and felt a new energy pulse through her. It was as if it was meant to control the magic that she was about to unleash. Her green eyes paled as she thought about the magic he had asked her to use. Fire sprang forward in a ribbon, then water laced around it, and then green earth magic spiralled itself around the pair as well. The stream shot towards the symbol, appearing as if from thin air from in front of her. As her magic shot forward, she felt the magic from their guide also starting to flow around her streams of fire, water and earth, and they seemed to focus their energy more completely. The symbol flashed as the magic hit it, and Siren felt a shudder from beneath her.

He felt and heard the whispers of concern through the cave. But ignored them when Siren began her task. His own energy helping to guid her control and magic the symbol brightened and then the surrounding area shook and cracked wide enough for a person to slide there hand in. When the magic faded away he stepped forward and sliped his arm completely to the shoulder into the crack and retrived what was hidden there. " I beleive you might want this m'lady. " He pulled forth a small scroll and handed to her. " This is a clue to finding the lost treasure of Chaos. "

Pyros watched as the elements struck the symbol and the wall began to crack and open up, Pyros believed this would be the entry into the kingdom they seeked, but strangely it stopped only about arms distance wide. 'What?' Pyros wondered as Vergo moved toward the crack and reached in, pulling out a scroll that looked pretty ancient. He handed Siren the scroll and claimed it was a clue to finding the treasure of Chaos. 'Treasure of Chaos? What is that? And what does it have to do with getting to this kingdom?!' Pyros wondered beginning to get a little frustrated with this small adventure they were seemingly going through.
Pyros stepped forward, getting closer to the two of them and looked down at the scroll that Siren held. "I thought we were heading for a new kingdom? Whats this about treasure your going on about now?" Pyros asked the man, as he wasn't the kind of person to go treasure hunting for wealth, he hoped that Vergo & Siren weren't going to go in search of treasures for wealth either. "Why would you want to find any sort of treasure anyway? What kind of treasure would it be?" Pyros questioned further, he wanted to get as much as information about this as he could before they continued.
Pyros now began to wonder about how Vergo had lead them to this exact point and then knew that there was a scroll hidden behind the rocks they had opened. "How did you know where this scroll was hidden anyway? And how do you know it leads towards this treasure of Chaos you claim? More importantly what do you know about the treasure of Chaos?" Pyros continued to interrogate him, he had no intention of being used to find a treasure as he suspected Vergo of having used Siren for.

Siren looked up at their guide as he passed her the scroll. She nodded but turned her head quickly towards Pyros as he started asking questions about the treasure. Had he forgotten so quickly what the reason for their expedition had been? "Pyros, the treasure was the entire reason for coming here. That was what kyern was after when he met me in that tavern, where you and several others joined us. I don't aim to get rich, but I think it would benefit us to find this treasure, for historical reasons. To teach our young about our land and the creation of our lawful and generally peaceful society." she said. She had thought that Pyros had known why they had been travelling, not just to find the lost kingdom, but what it hid as well. "Perhaps if we could find the relics, we could set them up on display in this kingdom, where not everyone would be able to access it. There is a great Academy here, i hear. They would do wonderfully for educational purposes." She blinked up at him. She turned to their guide and spoke,"You knew where it was because the caves talk to you, am i right? I can hear it too, but I don't understand it." Pyros was getting more agitated, and she was still unsure why that was.

He smiled softly as she took the scroll. From what he had gathered all of those he had joined with knew what they searched for. His anger was triggered by this disrespectful line of questions. He turned and with dark Red glowing eyes his energy rose. This energy was enough to unsettle and cause even the strongest warrior to back off real quick. His tone took on a dark nature as he spoke to Pyros. " Now you listen to me and you listen good. You ever interogate me in such a maner again i'll have your body sent into limbo and your soul tortured for the next three generations. Ignorance and alittle impatience I can tolerate, but his disrespect will not be tolerated. You had better decide right now if your going to control that tounge of yours when you meet the King and Queen of darklight. Are we clear? " His anger and power faded away soon after as Siren spoke again. He smiled softly to her questions. " Yes the cave tells me things about almost everything that happens here. With alittle training you will be able to understand it as well. " He turned and walked to another well written wall and opened it. Bright light with cool inviting air came in through a light shimmering feild. " If you are ready, we shall enter the courtyard of Darklight palace. "

Siren was a little frightened of their guide's outburst. She hadn't expected him to react that way to Pyros' questions. She felt slightly compelled to stand between them, to prevent them from fighting. As quickly as he had angered, he also calmed and was smiling at her again. She was still unsure what to think about his quick mood swings. He answered her question calmly and politely and walked by them towards a new entrance. With training? Does that mean he intends me to learn their secrets? she wondered. She looked at Pyros, and wondered how he had taken the outburst. "i'm ready... but Pyros...." she said quietly, concerned that her last travelling companion would decide to leave.

Pyros listened as Siren reminded him of the gathering that had taken place at the tavern previously. She then spoke of how it would be a good idea to find the treasure for future generations to see it and learn about the past. 'I forgot about that... I was focused on this kingdom so much I forgot about the treasure' Pyros thought as she then turned to Vergo and stated that the cave had told him where the scroll was. 'So the treasure of Chaos is the same treasure that we were searching for before' Pyros thought as Vergo then turned to him and seemed to bring up a dark force, it felt like the kind of feeling you got from a bad nightmare... like a fear that was dragged out from within you, Pyros had never feared anything before in this kind of way and took a step back as Vergo spoke of Pyros interrogating him in a manner that he didn't accept, he then threatened Pyros in a way that he would have thought never acceptable, but he knew that if he didn't accept this from Vergo he wouldn't be able to continue in the journey.
Pyros' face grew angry, he didn't say anything though. 'Personally I don't think it was as rude as he is taking it' Pyros thought as he noticed that they were now going to enter the Darklight Kingdom. Pyros' face grew really frustrated as he replied to Vergo. "Clear" He said with huge hesitance in his voice as he didn't like to give in to other people, especially after they had threatened him when he didn't believe he had used that bad a manner in asking him the questions. He walked over behind Siren, ready to follow her into the kingdom as she said she was ready but wasn't sure about Pyros. "Don't worry, I wouldn't miss an opportunity like this... believe me" Pyros replied knowing very well he would have just walked out of the cave if it wasn't for Siren seeming to care about him taking part in the expedition. He crossed his arms like a child would when they were being forced to partake in something.

He gave a soft smile and at the passageway stoped. With a deep breath he lowered his head alittle and turned it slightly so that half his gaze looked at Pyros and Siren. His tone calm and easy as it normally had been since they met. " Forgive my abrasivness and temperment. I am unacustomed to being with the outside world of Darklight. Being the rank I am means I show more restraint in matters but it is hard for me. If theres something you want to know about me, i'll set the time aside once we meet with the King and Queen to answer your questions. " He closed his eyes and with another breath steped through the shimering entrance and vanished. Behind them they could hear and feel the cave sealing itself once more to hide its secrets.

Siren watched Pyros as he answered that he would still be coming, but she noticed that he didn't look very happy as he crossed his arms. She felt instinctively like a mother watching a pouting child, and wanted to reach out and make everything better, but she knew little about the human that stood before her, so she looked away and put her arms about herself. I don't want them to fight like this, but is it merely their egos? she wondered, knowing that she wouldn't hesitate to intervene if anything more were to happen. She turned towards their guide as he spoke to them again, appologizing to them. She was still uncertain about his outburst, but she would try hard to remain respectful to him. He spoke of his rank and she wondered what, other than a guide through the entrance caves, he could be in his kingdom. He lead the way out of the cave through another shimmering wall of light, and she followed close behind him. She couldn't imagine getting stuck in the caves, lost and alone. It would be crippling to even the most hardened of warriors.

Pyros was surprised as Vergo apologized to him without seemingly needing to, Pyros had gone along with him and agreed to follow his rules. Most men would have been happy to have Pyros following their orders without hesitation after a verbal conflict like that yet he didn't just take the answer and walk away with his head held high to signify he had won, he turned to Pyros and explained about his lack of the outside world and how he was in a position where that kind of argument would be out of place.
Pyros watched as Vergo walked out of the cave, followed by Siren. Pyros turned back to look at the cave. 'I hope their kind are friendly...' Pyros thought as he stepped through the portal and into the kingdom. He was worried about the way they had entered the kingdom, he knew that without someone to take him out he would be trapped in the kingdom, it wasn't a good feeling to know that if the people wanted you dead, you couldn't escape.
