Siren felt her anger bubbling beneath her skin. The demon would not be allowed to escape. Her eyes began turning an orangy-green color as she saw the creature's tail repel yet another of her companions. If only I knew what kind of demon it was. I would be able to tell what would harm it. she thought. If it was fire repellant then her fire wouldn't work. and anything to do with darkness certainly wouldn't help her now. Maybe ice can stop it. she thought. She closed her eyes, concentrating on trapping the demon's lower half in a block of ice. Siren heard a hiss as the creature realized that ice was forming around its legs, and she heard cracking sounds as it tried to free itself. She concentrated harder on her anger and continued to send ice up the demon, thickening the walls it was forming around the creature. The creature was getting angrier now, and as it continued to try to free itself, Siren heard it bellowing in an eery sounding voice.

"You may freeze the girl, cat!" Nazgrel yowled. Quickly jumping to his paws, Nazgrel panted. Blood slowly drizzled down his scarred back. "Just be careful!". It was easy to see the cat had anger problems.. though he himself couldn't help anger itself, it sometimes possessed him, and turned him into a mortal who thought he was immortal..
Though he wouldn't think about that. There was nothing he could do to help.. he had a pure warrior's essence, and he could no magic of that kind.

Siren felt a fresh jolt of anger fire up inside of her as the fox told her to be careful. It was a dangerous thing to distract her as she tried to control her magic. She really needed someone to help her learn to control it.
She brought her attention back to the demon, focusing her anger into sending more ice up the demon's legs and hips. She heard it almost screaming in fury, and could tell that the sound would only become louder, until it finally would burst the ear drums of all those around it. Panic began to drag at her, and she struggled now to control her magic. She had to stop it from getting louder. more power burst from her as she tried to send the ice higher, high enough to cover the mouth and prevent it from making any noise.
As a surge of power left her, she opened her orange-green eyes and saw the ice finally envelope the creatures mouth, covering it completely, and stopping the sound of it screaming at the source. The creature was now covered in ice, all over its lower body, and up its torso to surround the neck and cover the mouth.
Confident that this would hold the creature, she tried to stop the flow of power leaving her. Ice was still forming around that already on the demon, and with the power leaving, her strength was also going. As she succeeded in stopping her powers, she fell to the snow covered ground, gasping for breath. The orange in her eyes slowly receded and then left altogether. She blinked sleepily, and had to fight to keep herself from collapsing from exhaustion. Her head hung, too tired to hold it up, and her blonde tresses fell about her face, hiding it like a curtain.

Kyern climbed out of the bakery and saw his wings dissolve away in acid as the spell wore off. He didn't feel any physical pain because of his immmortality but he could still see the cuts and bruieses created when he was sent through a window. He saw a new ice sculpture of what use to be the Librarian or deomn and he smiled and looked at Siren. When she got truley mad and frustrated (which was not very often) she could cause great amounts of damage. When Kyern looked at the demon again he noticed something was missing. Something very important was missing, Something so important that he knew that something had happened and he would later kill Siren for letting the demon live so long. "WHERE IS NIERA AND THE BOOK?"

Niera was so afraid. Siren wasn't concentrating on her magic and she couldn't see that the demon was sucking it up. SIREN STOP USING MAGIC she tried to shout but nothing came out. The silence spell was too strong for her. The demon was putting on a very good show. It was only pretending to be frozen, of course if Siren could see through the illusion she would have known that. But all of them were decieved and Niera was now truly afraid as ice began to form around the demons illsuion. The real deomn was busy away drawing a teleportaion circle in the ground and dragging Niera into it. Of course Niera knew that with a teleportaion circle they would be anywhere in the world and her stupid companions wouldn't notice her bening kidnapped because they were all focussing on a ILLSUION. I'M OVER HERE, HELLO she still tried to scream the words but nothing worked. Then the spell of teleportaion was set off and a high pitched scream filled the air and the deom then let the illsuion begin to freeze. Niera could only watch in horror as Siren smiled in triumph as she slowly defeated the "demon". She must have mistooking the screaming of the teleportaion vortex as a scream of fear from the demon. Then her world changed and she knew that she had been dragged into the Portal with the demon and Galfinio disapperead and Niera started to cry. She then found her voice come back "STUPID JERKS, WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE SEEN THE TRICK. HE PLAYED YOU ALL FOR DUPES AND STUPID SIREN YOU ATTACKED A ILLUSION" but nobody except the demon could hear her as she swirved around through space and time. Most people could not work such strong magic like a teleportaion vortex without a living sacrafice but i guess demons didn't need that now did they? Then the panic questions began to warp her mind. How will they find me? Did they reliaze i'm gone yet? Where am i going? Does the demon plan on killing me? Where is the book? Then Niera Panicked. "WHERE'S THE BOOK?? WHERES THE BOOK, THE TREASURE MAP, THE KEY, THE ONLY HOPE I HAVE, WHERE IS IT? ??"

Siren slowly moved her hand across her cloak. She felt something hard and vaguely box shaped underneath her hand. Frowning in confusion, she lifted the corner of her cloak, as high as her remaining strength would allow her. She would need to sleep for quite a while in order to get her energy back. Looking down to the object that was slight visible underneath the crimson red fabric of her cloak, she gasped. Could it really be... She put her hand on the cover of the book that was beneath her, and felt a slight pulse of magic. Opening to the first page, she saw the text that was there. It looks like it... She turned the pages until she found the one with the legend of the star night cave. "Star Days- Every year, beginning on December 20th, a special event, marked by the opening of a special cave, begins. The first day of this even, December 20th, is called Star Night, and the cave remains open until December 25th. The 'Star Days' are celebrated by most of the people of Warriors Crater as the days they first began to work together to rid their land of the Dark Lord, Chaos. Though accepted as a crucial time for the creation of our current land, many still hold these days as a solomn reminder of the old, what they believe their kingdom lost, the end of the purity of their blood. Generally told as a celebratory balad, the legend of the Lost Treasure of Chaos1 is coveted by many as a true tale, though such is yet to be proven.
1. The Lost Treasur of Chaos - It is known that the Dark Lord had many treasures, made for Him by His slaves (those who were to cowardly to try to save their land from His menace). Most of these treasures were lost in the creation of the Crater, blown apart by the impact of the meteor that killed the Dark Lord. It is believed, however, that some of the treasure still exists and many treasure hunters still search for the lost artifacts. One accepted rumor is that the remaining treasure was sealed in a cave that only opens for five days a year (see above). The location of this cave is unknown, though some say that there is a map that will lead to it."As she read, her delight at finding the book grew. This is really it! This will lead us to the treasure! she thought, and despite her lack of energy, she was excited. She tried to lift her head, her hair parting from her face slightly. "Look!" she tried to speak. Very little noise came out, but hopefully one of her companions with better hearing had heard her.

OOC: seeing as im the enemy and this looks like a good point for me to poke in, just yell at me and forget i posted this if i mess up your story line... im not really sure what angle i should come at this from. im guessing as a pure blood that hates halflings but if its just a race to the treasure... i don't really know maybe someone can quickly explain it later... same diff.
BIC: Deniek stood, his black cape covering ever inch of his body, the hood hidding his face. From the roof tops he could see the entire show, and quite an amusing one at that. His comrad, the librarian, was much smarter than he gave credit to. Most none magic users Deniek hated, along with the utter loathing for halflings after his... mis hap... ((ooc read my post about denieks house in the final paragraph, i might use this as a plot twist if i ever decided i want to be a good guy))
The teleportation spell that the demon used was one of his own tricks, hardly magic. It was just a rip though space into his world then another rip from his world to ours in a diffrent location. It would take too long to explain the full proccess but as a magi Deniek understood the whole prossess. The demons have there own form of skills that has to do with all sorts of dark arts, nothing like the refined sciences of real magic. Any way, Deniek felt it was appropriet to make his apearence right about now, now that they have discovered that they have lost the book, a comrade, and most likley their hope of finding this "treasure"
Deniek stepped forward, his coat still hidding his face. "Fools you are to try to come against me!" his voice boomed through the streets of the market place. "I will have the book and the treasure, I will take the ring that summons demons and create my own army. Your ragtag team of misphits will never be able to stand up to me, a fox that knows nothing of magic, an imortal that comes late to a fight. You even have a halfling mage that can hardly control her skills as magi." Deniek smiled inside his hood hopping that he had made quite the impression. "all the halflings will die under my rule as the new king of this land! I will--" He was cut off by one of the travelors who seemed quite angrey
((ooc someone make someone say something but don't say that you have the book))

siren's anger burst forward. "You won't succeed!" she yelled, gasping and falling forward a little further as she spent a little more of her energy. a small flash of fire appeared on the cloak of the human that was trying to stand in their way.

"hm hm, fire, cute... " Deniek did nothing to stop the attack, instead he wen't on talking. "Failure is not an option for me" the fire crept up his tunic, engulfing his legs in the blaze. "Hear this, stop now and go into hiding, me and my allies will destroy the halfbreeds. Nothing can stand in our way." as Deniek spoke the fire crept up his chest and arms, the only thing not ablaze was his hood. "Now I bid you farwell folow me if you can, but i doupt you have that kind of ability oh and by the way, my names Deniek, learn to fear it" his voice roared over the fire. the flames were completley ingulfing him a furnace of heat erupted from his body, then a flash of red and the coat fell to the ground, no body was found inside. it seems that Deniek has escaped
OOC: im kinda a little god-modish but if we do ever get into a fight it will be 5 vs 1 and i think its kinda apropriet...

OOC//: and in any case, your cloak could have just been magic proofed or something. you are a mage after all. (if you've ever played final fantasy, you might get an example from that, but if not, oh well, just take my explanation the way it is.)
BIC//: Siren sighed, and closed her eyes for a moment. The book was still underneath her cloak, safe and sound. She opened her eyes, needing so badly to rest and regain her energy. "Kyern." she spoke. This time her voice was slightly stronger. hopefully either kyern would come towards her, or one of the others would.

Pyros was a mere human and not much of a mage either, he only possessed the slightly magnificent powers of a normal human who had trained his martial arts to a high level and so he wasn't able to keep up with all the magical fighting going on and so he waited and watched, suddenly the battle was over and the enemy had escaped.
Pyros heard Siren call out for Kyern. She looked weak, she had used alot of energy during the battle and seemed to look like she was about to faint and needed help, Pyros looked around for Kyern who didn't seem to have noticed Siren's state. So Pyros decided to give her some assistance if he could and rushed over to Siren.
"hey? are you alright?" Pyros asked her looking her straight in the eyes, it looked as if she was so badly lacking of energy she was going to fall over right there.

Siren tried to maintain eye contact as her energy level waivered. She needed rest so badly that she had to fight her eyes to stay open. She barely heard Pyros as he asked her if she was alright. "I found the book..." she said, trying to lift her cloak. She raised her cloak a centemeter, then fell forward in pyros's direction, her eyes closed.

Pyros listened as she mentioned finding the book but didn't realize she was trying to lift her cloak. Then she closed her eyes and collapsed towards him. Pyros put out his arms to catch her and then slowly lowered her to lie on the ground to get some good rest.
Pyros then stood up and looked around at the others seeking help. "Hey! Can i get some help here! Siren just collapsed and I'm not sure what to do, you mages are a mystery to me" Pyros shouted hoping some mage would come and assist her in the proper way.

Just before Siren had collapsed, she had spent the last of her energy on teleporting the book into her cloak pocket. Now, if they took her somewhere, she would still have the book. Her cloak was protected by magic, meaning only she could retrieve the book from her pocket when she woke up. Her breathing slowed, she lay on the ground asleep, her hair spread in the snow like a halo around her head. ~~ With the 21st of december around the bend, it was imperative for the group to start moving. Without the foggiest idea of where to begin, they started by getting Siren to regain consciousness. Pyros and Herself were the only ones aware of her having found the book, but only she knew where it was. Many of the land's greatest mages were brought, and though many dismissed the case because they assumed she only needed rest, finally one was brought to her side that found the reason she would not wake up. "Look here! This crystal is supposed to be glowing." were his first comments. He quickly found the means of correcting the problem, and within hours of giving her the cure, Siren's eyes slowly blinked open. "I found the book!" she said without giving herself time to awaken. She jumped up as quick as a flash, but felt dizzy and immediately sat back down on the bed she had been laying on. Holding her head, she looked around for her cloak. She found her cloak on a chair near the bed, and moving towards it more slowly this time, she bent down and retrieved the book from the pocket that had encased it. "Look!" she said, her voice now loud enough that anyone near could have heard her. The book found, few made any thought of the girl that had first brought it into their presence. Siren peered into the falling snow from the shelter of the tavern door. What happened to Niera? she wondered, hoping that the girl had not suffered with the demon. The group was to set out in search of the cave using the map in the book as soon as their caravan was prepared. Siren sighed and turned back into the tavern to sit at the table that the group had gathered at. Plot continued - Click here

Niera woke up in the strangest place, well she was in a strange place. It was actually in the middle of a forest with glowing white tree's, she was lying down on a rock although it was covered with so much moss she couldn't feel the hardness of it. When she turned her head she saw that all of the grass in the clearing had been bent and was facing to the rock she was lying on. So Niera slowly got up, ever so slowly as she was sore and she was firstly surprised to see the dress she was in. The Dress was green but what was more amazing was the fact that her skin was now green. Wait, she looked at her hand again and confirmed it was green. She was knodding until she reliazed that she didn't have green skin. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..." She could have kept on screaming if she didn't notice the wings she had suddenly grown. WINGS, FAIRY WINGS, WINGS OF A FAIRY. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH". Niera screamed, she kept on screaming, nobody would recongize her now because she looked totally different. TOO DIFFERENT. She leapt off the rock and screamed as she was sent flying through the air. The ground was bellow her and it was shrinking. Then she came down and was freaked out in how she was able to land so gracfully without breaking her ankle. "DEMON" She screamed it with hate and her new powers sent the grass flaring up and the trees to bend down and scoop up any lower creatures that just so happened to be on the ground. One tree scooped a deer, another picked up a squirrel. She was amazed at her power, her new power to control plants. But she was confused, how did she become a fairy? What had happened to the demon? Where was she? Why was she turned into a fairy? Where is the demon? But there was a distant memory, she was trying to remember it but it wouldn't come to her. There was a group of people, there was suppose to be something else but she couldn't remember. Then she heard silent laughter, mocking laughter and she roared sending every plant into a frezy to look for its source. She was now a shade of the darkest green, almost black and her anger showed!
